Event Update For 2013-07-20

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Fires And Explosions
2013-07-20 - Pickup truck bursts into flame on road in Fayetteville (Arkansas), driver jumps out, truck crashes:
Quote: "Witnesses told 5NEWS that a white truck was northbound on College when it appeared to burst into flames shortly after 9 p.m. The truck crossed into the center turn lane and witnesses said the driver jumped out of the moving vehicle. The truck continued across the southbound lanes until it crashed into the curb in front of the Lewis automobile dealership near the intersection of College and East Longview Street."
Note: Well, jumping out of a moving vehicle is better than burning to death. Sometimes hydrogen sulfide is knocking drivers unconscious AND igniting their vehicles and when that happens, the result is a charred corpse in a burned-out or burning vehicle. So this guy was actually lucky...

2013-07-20 - Vacation home explodes and burns at Lake Independence in Big Bay (Michigan), on the Upper Peninsula:

2013-07-20 - Explosion hits fireworks business in Wake Forest (North Carolina):

2013-07-20 - Suspected explosion - or electrical fire - hits office block before 2:30 AM in Crawley (Britain):

Note: They were called to an explosion, but mention an electrical fire, and they found smoke in the place, but no sign of an explosion or an electrical fire. Something certainly burned and possibly even exploded - gases in the atmosphere perhaps, which (this time) didn't actually damage anything, just ignited...

2013-07-20 - Boat bursts into flame on Lake Tillery (North Carolina):

2013-07-20 - Several buses destroyed or damaged by fire at bus garage at 2:30 AM in Salsburgh (Scotland):

Note: They were parked, not running, so they're assuming arson. Any CCTV footage of the arsonists? Witnesses? Forensic evidence? Nothing? Well then, I'm not assuming arson. Did the buses have batteries and rust? Of course. Well, there's two possible sources of ignition right there, as hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, and rusty iron/steel...

2013-07-20 - Tanker truck bursts into flame near Ukiah (California):

2013-07-20 - Tractor trailer bursts into flame on I-64 near Teays Valley in Putnam County (West Virginia):

2013-07-20 - Tractor trailer and combine burst into flame on the A120 near Colchester (Britain):

2013-07-20 - Two tractors and vehicle burst into flame on Lake Moody Road near Cambrai (Australia):

Note: Arson assumed as usual, but no mention of any actual evidence of that being the case. These were probably 'cold' vehicles, or maybe they detected an accelerant. That's precisely the same mistake the police in Norwich (Vermont) made when three of their squad cars went up in flames while parked at a police station, as mentioned in the 2012-11-22 update. First they said an accelerant was used, so they assumed it had to be arson. Then they retracted that and said it was accidental. There WAS an accelerant involved - hydrogen sulfide or methane or both. But police stations have surveillance cameras so they probably took a look and saw those three cars simply burst into flame, so it was clearly not arson despite their initial assumption. I realize why officials are assuming arson much of the time these days. However, they're obviously wrong in some cases, probably MANY cases now. Lacking any mention of actual evidence of arson, I don't accept mere assumptions anymore. Once fire officials wake up to the problem we face then they'll be MUCH more competent in terms of doing their job. Also, this area is very close to the River Marne...

2013-07-20 - Pickup truck bursts into flame while parked in parking lot in Bigfork (Montana), near Flathead Lake:

Quote: "Officials say they don't know what caused the blaze, but say it appears to have started near the engine compartment."

Note: Like, near the battery cables. Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper. Bigfork is on the east side - the downwind side - of Flathead Lake...

2013-07-20 - Deck bursts into flame, fire spreads to home, in Oakton (Virginia):

Note: Wooden decks, porches and fences all have the same vulnerabilities as pallets to the atmospheric hydrogen sulfide and methane problem, except that they usually have sealant and/or paint applied, which would help prevent the wood from absorbing the gases. If the sealant or paint has deteriorated with time though...

2013-07-20 - Porch catches fire at home in Burlington (Iowa):

2013-07-20 - Outside of 3-story home bursts into flame at 4:14 AM in coastal Norwalk (Connecticut):

Quote: "The fire was discovered by a neighbor returning home from work. She reported that she heard a popping noise and when she went to the window, she saw the fire."

Note: There's that popping sound again, mentioned right before many fires this past year or so. That's probably hydrogen suflide and/or methane finding an ignition source and detonating, a small explosion. When the gas plumes are larger and more concentrated then the explosion may sound like - and be mistaken for - fireworks or gunfire. When the plumes are very large then you get those neighborhood-shaking explosions - sometimes accompanied by a 'flash of light' in the sky - that have been reported all over the world in the last year or two. This time, there was probably some hydrogen sulfide in the mix and it found some electrified copper (exterior light or electric box, something like that), or maybe some rusty iron/steel...

The security officer called police immediately. Medics responded and pronounced the man deceased at the scene. Police say foul play does not seem to be a factor at this point."

Note: Not foul play? So he just dropped dead. Well, nothing to worry about then, probably just some poison gas blowing around there. Well, nothing to worry about unless you're one of those need-unpoisoned-air-to-live type of people...
