Event Update For 2013-07-07

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Fires And Explosions
2013-07-07 - Underground electrical fire erupts in coastal Yonkers (New York), power goes out for many, who swelter in heat:
Note: Hydrogen sulfide is a heavier-than-air gas which will seek out low-lying areas like underground facilities, basements, valleys, canyons, ditches, ravines, etc. It is also reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, like cabling in underground electrical facilities, battery cables and wiring in vehicles, etc. There have been many underground electrical fires and explosions in the last year or two, and especially in the last few months. As the amount of hydrogen sulfide entering the atmosphere increases, this problem will continue to escalate. The copper reactivity problem is also the likely cause of a great many of the non-running vehicles bursting into flame. Can you imagine a world without electricity or vehicles? I find it difficult, and yet that may very well be coming...

2013-07-07 - Stuart Creek 2 wildfire grows to 40,000 acres, reaches the Chena River (Alaska), 2 communities evacuated:

Quote: "As of about 4:30 p.m., 40,200-acre fire had reached the south bank of the Chena River near 28 Mile Chena Hot Springs Road, according to spokesman Richard Hadley with the interagency crew fighting the fire. There had been reports that the fire spotted to the north side of the river, but the fire had only reached an island in the channel..."

Quote: "The evacuation notice, unlike a previous watch in the area, urges residents to immediately leave the area and drive westward to Fairbanks."

Note: The evacuation orders are for the communities of Two Rivers and Pleasant Valley...

2013-07-07 - Explosion blows house off its foundation, fire erupts, in Ypsilanti Township (Michigan), 1 injured:

2013-07-07 - Huge blaze breaks out at electrical recycling center in Sittingbourne (Britain), smoke alert issued:

Quote: "Witnesses have reported thick black smoke billowing over the town..."

2013-07-07 - Historic wooden Whites Bridge bursts into flame at 5:10 AM in rural western Michigan:

Note: This bridge spanned the Flat River. It was built out of wood in the 19th century, with iron nails. So, wood catching fire, in the wee hours, right atop a low-lying area (river), with some iron near the wood. They're assuming arson, but mention no evidence of people being involved. Hydrogen sulfide is a heavier-than-air gas which will tend to accumulate in low-lying area, like rivers. It is being absorbed into absorbent materials like wood (and cardboard, paper, rubber, dried brush, mulch, hay, straw, generic trash, etc). It is also reactive with rusty iron/steel, like the nails used to construct this bridge. The wee hours are when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any hydrogen sulfide or methane floating in the air above closer to the ground. Add all of that up, and it's not in the least surprising that this bridge burned...

2013-07-07 - Huge fire devastates metals plant at 6:47 AM in Elkton (Maryland):

Quote: "Benvegno said this is the first time his company has had a fire in the 42 years of operation here."

Note: Well, for most of that 42 years we didn't have an atmospheric hydrogen sulfide and methane problem. Now that we do, the owner might wanna get used to fires like this...

2013-07-07 - Utility pole bursts into flame on Sandbridge Road in coastal Virginia Beach (Virginia), 1000 homes go dark:

Note: That road is about a mile long and goes right to the coast...

2013-07-07 - Massive blaze destroys classic cars, motorcycle parts and two warehouses in Hollandale (Minnesota):

2013-07-07 - Tanker truck bursts into flame on Route 250 near Bridgeport (Ohio):

2013-07-07 - Tractor bursts into flame while parked in Irymple (Australia):

Quote: "Mildura Police Constable Leigh Nicholds said, like the ute blaze last week, it was not known how the tractor fire started. 'It’s suspicious because the tractor had been sitting there for four days,' he said."

Note: What's suspicious about that? It still had its battery connected so there was electrified copper. It still had rust on it. Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, and rusty iron/steel. So this seems more like what should be expected...

2013-07-07 - Log truck bursts into flame on the Midland Highway near Epping Forest on the island of Tasmania (Australia):

Quote: "Police have issued a warning to motorists travelling on the Midland Highway near Epping Forest after the brakes on a truck caught fire early this morning. Just after 4am this morning, the brakes on a log truck caught fire, immobilising the trailer section of the vehicle."

2013-07-07 - In separate incidents, two cars burst into flame at 1:45 AM in Mesa (Arizona):

Note: They got nothin' here, but at least they admit it in this case. No witnesses, no suspects, but they're having a problem not thinking this is arson because they were probably parked cars, and they caught fire at about the same time. Yet that is what we should expect to see as the size, number and concentration of hydrogen sulfide plumes in the atmosphere all progressively increase over time. Once we're up to 10 or 20 vehicles going up in flames at a time in multiple cities, it'll be just in-your-face obvious if it isn't already...

2013-07-07 - In separate incidents, two cars burst into flame, at 5:15 AM and 6:15 AM, in Maesgeirchen (Britain):

2013-07-07 - Car bursts into flame while parked in Roth's parking lot in Salem (Oregon):

2013-07-07 - Car bursts into flame at 3:30 AM while parked at home in Lavington (Australia), 5 miles from the coast:

Quote: "He said the fire was obviously deliberate because an accelerant had been used to light it."

Note: Erroneous assumption there. Both hydrogen sulfide and methane are accelerants. This is the same mistake that police made at first when three patrol cars went up in flames in Norwich (Vermont), and they detected an accelerant and assumed arson initially too, as mentioned in the 2012-11-22 update. They then retracted the arson assumption and said it was accidental, presumably because police stations have surveillance cameras and they SAW those cars simply go up in flames. They were right about an accelerant being involved, but there were no people involved. That fire also occurred in the wee hours, which is when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any hydrogen sulfide or methane floating in the air above closer to the ground...

Quote: "Mr Marschall said he did not know whether another car fire, in Nowra Street in North Albury, at 6.30am was linked to the blaze."

Note: And another car fire, again in the wee hours, albeit at the tail end...

Note: Wood decks and porches and fences have all the same vulnerabilities to the atmospheric hydrogen sulfide and methane problem as pallets do, unless the wood is treated with sealant and/or painted. If you have a wood porch, deck or fence, and you haven't painted it or sealed it in a while, there's never been a better time to do so than now...
