Event Update For 2013-05-03

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2013-05-03 - Fishing boat bursts into flame, starts itself, smashes into other vessels, in coastal Coffs Harbour (Australia):

Note: Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, like battery cables and other wiring on vehicles of all kinds. This is now the 5th event that I know of involving a motor or vehicle starting itself. This may be because a fire involving hydrogen sulfide's reactivity with copper might melt away insulation on wiring and the vehicle then basically 'hot-wires' itself and starts its own engine. And then you end up with a 'ghost vehicle' starting itself and moving around on its own, quite possibly while it's burning, as in this case...

2013-05-03 - Refueling plane explodes in midair then crashes after takeoff from US-run base in Kyrgyzstan, 2 killed, 1 missing:

Quote: "One resident of the agricultural and sheep-grazing area, Sherikbek Turusbekov, said the plane exploded in flight and split into three pieces as it fell."

Note: I wonder what happens if you fly operating combustion engines through a cloud of flammable methane and/or hydrogen sulfide. I bet sometimes you get an exploding plane that then crashes out of the sky...

2013-05-03 - Massive inferno breaks out at recycling center in Battle Creek (Michigan), firefighter collapses:

http://www.freep.com/article/20130503/NEWS06/305030142/1001/

Quote: "It was a huge dramatic fire, one of the biggest in recent Battle Creek history, sending huge black plumes of smoke into the evening sky that could be seen for miles."

Quote: "The fire involved paper products outside, structures on the site, and a brushy area across 6½-Mile Road."

Quote: "Huge paper and cardboard bales appeared to make up the bulk of the material that was burning."

Quote: "Trash-related facilities such as recycling centers and landfills will burn hard too, as hydrogen sulfide is absorbed into flammable absorbent materials like wood, paper, cardboard, straw, hay, dried brush, generic trash, clothing, cotton, wool."

Note: The last quote is from the full hypothesis. The location of this facility is about 1000 feet from the Kalamazoo River. Also, two metal recycling centers burned in the previous two days. I mentioned metal-related facilities burning in the full hypothesis too, because hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper and rusty iron/steel, both of which are common at metal-related facilities...

2013-05-03 - RV explodes and burns while parked in Poway (California), fire spreads to home, near the West Coast:

2013-05-03 - Explosion hits apartment in coastal Stockholm (Sweden), 3 killed:
http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/349384

Quote: "A fire followed the explosion and forced residents of the building to be evacuated shortly afterwards, at around 4:30 am (02:30 GMT)."

Note: The wee hours are when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any hydrogen sulfide or methane floating above closer to the ground, making fires, explosions and poisoning by hydrogen sulfide more common during these hours...

2013-05-03 - Explosion and fire destroy home in East Norwich (New York), 1 mile from the coast, on Long Island:

2013-05-03 - Transit bus bursts into flame on the island of Malta:

http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/20130503/local/bendy-bus-fire.468164

Quote: "This is the third bus catching fire? Many disabled people were happy with the intro of these buses because they allowed them mobility and rightly so. However, I ask myself what would happen if a bus catches fire and a mobility disabled person is on board with the result that he/she can't leave bus quickly?"

Note: That's a comment from one of the residents there. So, three transit buses have burst into flame there, recently enough to stick in someone's mind...

Quote: "Otherwise how would you explain these incidents. Two buses catching fire in a week."

Note: So not just three buses burning up recently, but two in one week. That's escalation there, and it sounds like people are slowly beginning to tune in to the fact that what's occurring is out-of-the-ordinary...

Note: Huh, never really occurred to me how semis get moved around. Always kinda figured they got driven, but apparently sometimes they're trailered and hauled by other semis. The semi that burst into flame here was the non-running vehicle being transported on a trailer, then the fire spread to the towing semi...

2013-05-03 - Garbage truck bursts into flame inside storage barn, fire spreads to second truck, in Centralia (Illinois):
http://www.columbiatribune.com/news/truck-fire-disrupts-centralia-trash-service/article_8fa438e6-b437-11e2-be62-001a4bcf6878.html

Quote: "The city has rented a truck from Dayne's Waste Disposal in Mexico, Mo., and will add one person from Dayne's staff to the city's two-person crew 'while we consider our options,' he said."

Note: This occurred shortly before 2 AM, the wee hours, when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any hydrogen sulfide or methane floating in the atmosphere above closer to the ground, thus making explosions, fires and hydrogen sulfide poisoning more likely during those hours. The loss of these garbage trucks means that Centralia is RENTING a garbage truck, else there would be no trash pickup service for residents. This is a harbinger of things to come as human infrastructure degrades, including delivery of goods and services - like food and fuel and medicine, for three examples.

http://www.nbcnews.com/id/51759342/ns/local_news-lexington_ky/

Quote: "Family members in a home along Eastway Drive woke up around 1:45 a.m. hearing popping sounds outside. When they looked out, they saw an SUV in the driveway burning. The vehicle was only about 10 feet away from the house and burned so hot, siding on the home melted."

Note: The 'popping sounds' have been heard right as many fires have broken out this past year or two. Those sounds are likely small explosions as hydrogen sulfide and/or methane plumes find an ignition source and detonate. Since hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper like battery cables on vehicles, no initial fire or flame or heat source is required to get these non-running vehicular fires going. Also, the wee hours are when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any hydrogen sulfide or methane floating above closer to the ground, making fires, explosions and poisoning by hydrogen sulfide more common during these hours...

2013-05-03 - Pickup truck bursts into flame while parked at home in coastal Baiting Hollow (New York):
http://www.riverheadlocal.com/breaking-news/9368-riverhead-firefighters-douse-vehicle-fire-in-baiting-hollow-

Quote: "The truck, a Ford F-150, was not running at the time of the incidents and the residents of the house were not even home..."

Note: Vehicles need not be running to burst into flame. Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, like battery cables and other wiring in vehicles. This is the likely cause of a great many of the non-running vehicles bursting into flame now. If this family had parked their pickup next to their home then they might have lost everything. The fact that non-running battery-using equipment can now spontaneously combust fairly easily is why I think it unwise to park vehicles near homes or near other vehicles...

An update from Saskatoon Fire and Protective Services shows that the blaze started in the garage of 603-415 Heritage Crescent. Officials said some sort of malfunction in the vehicle sparked a flame."

Note: Wee hours again, when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any hydrogen sulfide or methane floating above closer to the ground, making fires, explosions and poisoning by hydrogen sulfide more common during these hours. Also, people still park vehicles near their homes?!

2013-05-03 - Fishing vessel skipper, 46, goes missing, then found dead in the water near Belkofski (Alaska):
http://articles.ktuu.com/2013-05-03/alaska-state-troopers_39013851

Note: Not long ago, two men, 44 and 41, were found dead on separate boats in harbors near Kodiak (Alaska), as mentioned in the 2013-04-22 update. Looks like the jet stream is probably bringing hydrogen sulfide up to the coast in Alaska, knocking people dead here and there. Because hydrogen sulfide is a heavier-than-air gas and will seek out the same areas that water does, any activity on bodies of water is now inherently more dangerous than it's ever been before: boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking, tubing, etc.

Note: Get a whiff of air that's 0.1% hydrogen sulfide (which is lethal) while you're driving and this is probably the best possible result. Better than veering over the centerline and hitting another vehicle head-on or plunging into a river to be found months later...

2013-05-03 - Experts say early wildfires bode ill for California fire season:
http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/05/04/18039779-long-hot-incendiary-summer-early-wildfires-bode-ill-for-california?lite

Note: Both are coastal states. Both are downwind of the giant oceanic dead zone known as the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, which is surely pluming highly flammable heavier-than-air hydrogen sulfide now. The atmosphere is also filling up with highly flammable methane. In fact, in March, methane burped up from Santa Monica Bay in California, and the city was hit with a 'foul odor' (which obviously wasn't methane since methane is odorless, but it may have been hydrogen sulfide), as mentioned in the 2013-03-03  update. So yeah, they're wise to expect a horrifying fire season. The fires were already pretty horrifying before fire season even began. Also, there are 500 million dead trees in Texas alone, that died from drought and have been drying out and absorbing flammable hydrogen sulfide and/or methane for a year now. That could soon produce an apocalyptic wildfire scenario for Texas...

    1. Thanks as always! Got those added. I also bolded some words to highlight info, and I removed the elevator factory and update showing it to be caused by a cigarette, since that'd just distract from the other stuff.

If they can come up with something believable I usually let it go. That doesn't mean I believe everything I'm told though. For example, let's say someone lights a cigarette in Berlin right as a big gas plume descends and a huge explosion destroys Berlin. The news headline might read: 'Berlin destroyed by cigarette!' Cigarettes may serve as the ignition source, sure, or static electricity, rusty iron, whatever. But the final result may be because of gases in the atmosphere, not because of the source of ignition for the gases.

    2. Also, if YOU want something bolded, you can just put it in all capitals, and from now on I will understand that's what you want. Just think of me as your bolding tool! That won't work here in the comments (can't edit these), but once I copy the info to the actual 'German Events' posts, then it'll show up.

    1. Yep, it's in the 2013-05-04 update. And you're right, doesn't get much sadder than that - women going to a bachelorette party, and the bride-to-be and 4 friends burned alive. And it was on a bridge over a bay on a coast too. I don't know much about stretch limos like that, but if they have rear brakes then that's where it looked like that fire started.
