Event Update For 2013-05-01

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Fires And Explosions
2013-05-01 - Sawdust silo bursts into flame at furniture plant in Bradford (Vermont):
Quote: "Copeland Furniture makes products for companies such as Crate and Barrel. On Tuesday, firefighters responded to a sawdust fire at the Ethan Allen furniture plant in Orleans."
Note: I had to do a double-take on this story, thought maybe they'd confused something with the Ethan Allen fire. But nope, different company here, different day, but otherwise, same exact scenario. Silos at a wood pellet plant also burst into flame recently in North Clarendon (Vermont), as mentioned in the 2013-04-27 update. So that's three sets of silos containing flammable absorbent materials (sawdust, sawdust, wood pellets) bursting into flame in a span of about 4 days. Well, I did mention in the full hypothesis that wood-related businesses were going to burn hard...

2013-05-01 - Fuel barge explodes at port in Sangatta, East Kalimantan on the island of Borneo, 4 killed, 5 injured:

Note: Say, didn't we just have some fuel barges explode recently? Ah yes, two fuel barges exploded in the Mobile River near coastal Mobile (Alabama), as mentioned in the 2013-04-24 update...

2013-05-01 - Massive explosion blasts vehicle, rattles Narre Warren suburb in coastal Melbourne (Australia):

Quote: "People up to 10km away reported being woken."

Note: The authorities are portraying this as a bomb, but no witnesses, no surveillance footage and no motive. I think this was likely one of those neighborhood-shaking 'mystery explosions' that have been heard and felt around the world the last year or two as the amount of explosively flammable methane and hydrogen sulfide in the atmosphere has been increasing. But this time, instead of the gas plume exploding NEAR a neighborhood, it exploded IN a neighborhood. They will certainly want people to believe it was a bomb though, because human perpetrators can be caught and stopped, but nobody is going to catch or stop the Earth itself...

Quote: "The driver smelled smoke right before her battery light turned on. She then opened the hood and saw flames and quickly got her kids out safely."

Note: Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, like battery cables. And her battery light went on right before she saw the fire. And Florida is downwind of the dead zones in the Gulf of Mexico, which are surely pluming hydrogen sulfide now...

Note: Both flammable absorbent materials and all such materials are absorbing hydrogen sulfide and/or methane an spontaneously comusting. That includes wood, paper, cardboard, clothing, cotton, wool, straw, hay, generic trash, mulch, dried brush, pallets, furniture, etc.

Quote: "Scott and Justin were skating past the home when they say they first saw fire under the deck."

Quote: "The deceased, Sachitra Kalpani Maragoda (21) of Bataduwa, Galle, had been following a training course in rowing conducted by the Kotalawala Defence Academy in the vicinity of the Bolgoda Lake for about eight months."

Note: So she spent a lot of time on a lake. Well, no wonder she dropped dead. Hydrogen sulfide doesn't always kill a person immediately, incidentally; there can be a delay of minutes, hours, sometimes even days. She probably got a whiff the last time she was on that lake...

The crash caused the truck to catch fire."

Note: The wee hours are when the atmosphere cools and conracts, which will push any hydrogen sulfide or methane floating in the tmosphere above closer to the ground, making fires, explosions and poisoning by hydrogen sulfide more likely during those hours. This area is near the Rock River...

  1. Thanks for all your time and hard sleuthing!
Wondering if you are seeing any particularly evident "areas of interest" now...
Not sure if you caught this one...

  2. Yep, mentioned that explosion in the 2013-04-25 update, but I'm glad you didn't assume I'd seen it, because sometimes I miss things; I can't catch everything!

Not sure what you mean by areas of interest, but if you mean geographically, then Vermont looks scary lately. Both of the recent sawdust silo fires at furniture companies AND the silo explosion at the wood pellet plant - all three were in Vermont, all this past week. California's looking pretty burny lately too.

    1. Wow, getting busy there in Germany, I see! Gonna keep all of these events in the Germany list (and start a new May Germany list too), but gonna put some of these in the English update too, at least that transport ship fire with all the cars, and the dolphin deaths. People need to know this is going on, so if some events show up in two separate lists, fine with me. Better to have too much info available to people than not enough.

      You're good at this!

  5. Thx Jonny! I'll keep you updated, if the record of 58 cars burning at once has been broken by the Hamburg Harbor fire, cause I'm really not sure if they all burned.

    1. Heh, 58 isn't the record for CARS - it's the record for most BOATS to burn in one fire. 58 boats burned up in a gigantic fire at a marina at Norris Lake (Tennessee), mentioned in the 2012-09-10 update. 200+ cars have burned up at each of a couple of different auto salvage yard fires, so I guess that'd be the record. Also, 200 collector cars, RVs and boats burned up at a vehicle storage facility in Mishawaka (Indiana), mentioned in the 2013-02-11 update.

  6. Here's an english article on the Hamburg story:

    Data on the Atlantic Cartier:

    1. Much thanks! Was just working on the 2013-05-02 update, so perfect timing too! ;)

  7. Oh, regarding the common porpoises: The police spokesman said, they find 2-3 every year in HAMBURG ALONE. Sorry for the mistake.

    1. No prob! Still worth noting. That's one thing about the animal world - they're going to react to the problem honestly, so it pays to watch what goes on with non-human life on Earth. We're the only species smart enough - or dumb enough - to lie to ourselves about something like this.

  8. A road in north Manchester has been closed to traffic after partially collapsing while cars drove over it.

Beswick Street in Ancoats is currently blocked off in both directions between Old Mill Street and Pollard Street.

Police were called to the street around 2.30pm this afternoon after a large hole opened up in the tarmac as vehicles passed over it.

The road was initially closed in one direction but as the hole continued to grow in size police made the decision to prevent traffic in both directions.
