Event Update For 2013-05-16

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Fires And Explosions
2013-05-16 - Mysterious powerful explosion shakes the ground, rattles homes and windows, in Buckeye Lake (Ohio):
Note: These mysterious explosions - of which there have been many - are likely caused by atmospheric hydrogen sulfide and/or methane plumes finding an ignition source and detonating. As time goes on and the atmosphere becomes increasingly contaminated with both gases, these explosions are highly likely to destroy entire neighborhoods and quite possibly entire towns and large sections of cities...

2013-05-16 - Basement transformer explodes and burns at downtown office building in Cincinnati (Ohio), 3 injured:

Quote: "The initial investigation indicates that one or two transformers blew up in the basement of the property."

Note: Hydrogen sulfide is a heavier-than-air gas and will tend to seek out low-lying areas like basements and underground electrical facilities. It is also reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, like that found in electical facilities and vehicles. This event is essentially the same as all the underground transformer explosions and fires blowing manholes off and occasionally igniting cars on the street above that have been occurring in towns and cities all over, especially in the last several months. Speaking of which...

2013-05-16 - Underground transformer fire takes out power to six city blocks in Gainesville (Florida):

Quote: "A Gainesville Fire Rescue spokesman says when firefighters arrived on scene they saw smoke coming from the manhole cover. The fire caused a power outage for about six blocks from the intersection of Main Street and University Avenue. People were asked to evacuate the area."

2013-05-16 - Blaze erupts at landfill in Rapid City (South Dakota):

2013-05-16 - Fire breaks out at recycling center in Roseville (Michigan):

2013-05-16 - Fire breaks out at garbage and recycling center between Midhurst and Elmvale (Canada):

2013-05-16 - Garage explodes and burns in Devon (Canada):

2013-05-16 - Huge stack of pallets erupts in flame at business in Corby (Britain):

Note: They suspect arson, blah blah. Probably because they don't realize that hydrogen sulfide is blowing around the atmosphere and it's reactive with rusty iron/steel like nails and screws that hold pallets together. Without that knowledge, they simply can't fathom how pallets could ignite without a human element being involved. Any witnesses? Nope. Any surveillance footage? Nope. Any motive? Nope. So, they have an assumption. Not good enough; I want to see at least ONE of those three things before I can accept an assumption of arson these days...

2013-05-16 - Massive fire destroys restaurants, shops, book store, in Kathmandu (Nepal):

Quote: "It is believed that the fire started due to the problems in the electric generator in the Faces Lounge and Bar."

Note: Generator is a combustion engine, so this is like a vehicle bursting into flame, except the fire spread farther and did more damage...

2013-05-16 - Small plane bursts into flame, crashes in Tahoe National Forest (California), casualties unknown:

Quote: "Dispatchers said witnesses said they saw a fireball in the sky before the plane went down."

Note: Fireball may have been the plane igniting a passing atmospheric hydrogen sulfide and/or methane plume...

2013-05-16 - Cargo ship 'Taigan' bursts into flame at port on the island of Hokkaido (Japan), 6 killed, 3 injured:

2013-05-16 - Large boat bursts into flame while moored in coastal Cape Coral (Florida):

Quote: "The involved boat was a fiberglass hull, twin-engine sports fisherman boat that is approximately 42 foot in length, with a fly bridge and fishing tower."

2013-05-16 - Tractor trailer bursts into flame on Route 222 in Warwick Township (Pennsylvania):

2013-05-16 - Three tow trucks burn in three months in coastal Miami (Florida):

Quote: "A truck driver captured the flames on video. The blaze burned though a truck at round 4 a.m. Thursday."

Quote: "The first time the trucks were targeted was back in February. The second time was on May 9. Police said the fires occurred during the early morning hours."

Note: Arson suspected, but again, no witnesses, no motive, no surveillance video. The man who owns the trucks is installing surveillance cameras now. This sort of reminds me of when three police cruisers burst into flame in Norwich (Vermont), mentioned in the 2012-11-22 update. Initially they said that fire was arson too, and that accelerants were used, but then they retracted that and said it was accidental, mechanical problem or electrical problem. I think they looked at their surveillance video and saw that one of the police cruisers simply burst into flame and the fire then spread to the other two cruisers. The reason they detected accelerants is because there WERE accelerants - both hydrogen sulfide and methane are highly flammable, e.g. accelerants. So, maybe these tow truck fires were arson, maybe not. If not, then the next time it happens he'll just see a truck burst into flame. Also, the wee hours are when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any hydrogen sulfide or methane floating in the atmosphere above closer to the ground, making explosions, fires and hydrogen sulfide poisoning events more common during those hours...

2013-05-16 - Vacant house burns in Syracuse (New York):

2013-05-16 - Vacant home burns in Davenport (Iowa), fire started on porch:

Note: Wood porches have the same vulnerabilities as pallets, unless they have a good coat of paint or the wood has been treated with sealant, or both. The wood will absorb hydrogen sulfide and/or methane. The nails will rust and hydrogen sulfide is reactive with rusty iron/steel. So the wood absorbs gas over time, then a little hydrogen sulfide blows by, finds some rusty iron/steel, some sparks ensue, and whoosh, fire erupts...

  1. Hello Jonny! check this out! listen to ferry boat explosion in Indonesia near the end
    + here is another one
After reading thru your list....Sounds like Ohio regularly has lots of 'events' !

    1. Thanks! I had missed the ferry boat exploding, but it's queued up for the next update now, thanks to you! I think Ohio's main vulnerability is being next to Lake Erie, which seems to be making it a kind of inland version of Florida.

  2. Thnx for all you do Jonny - here is another (bad) 'surprise'!

  3. Thanks! Had some of those listed, but not all, so they're now in the next update, coming shortly.
