Event Update For 2013-05-28

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2013-05-28 - Freight train hits tractor trailer, derails, massive explosion and fire ensue, in White Marsh (Maryland), HazMat responds:,0,6849185.story
Quote: "A cargo train derailed Tuesday in a Baltimore suburb and an explosion could be heard for miles, collapsing nearby buildings and setting them on fire, officials and witnesses said."
Quote: "A worker at a nearby Dunkin Donuts, Tawan Rai, reached by The Associated Press by phone, said he saw a fire and flames by the railroad tracks at first, then felt a thundering blast that sent smoke pouring into the sky."
Quote: "Several nearby buildings collapsed, police said. The side of a large building next to the tracks appears to be blown off. The derailment occurred in the area of Lake Drive and 66th Street."

2013-05-28 - Car explodes and burns at 3:30 AM in coastal Vancouver (Canada), 1 killed:

Quote: "Darek Whiteaker, 47, was pulling out of his driveway in the 9100 block of Northeast 54th Street just before 3:30 a.m. on his way to a job as a truck driver when he heard an explosion."

Note: The wee hours are when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any hydrogen sulfide or methane floating in the atmosphere above closer to the ground, making explosions, fires and hydrogen sulfide poisoning events more common during those hours...

2013-05-28 - Car explodes and burns while parked in driveway at home in South Charleston (West Virginia):

Quote: "Investigators on scene believe something inside the car caused the explosion and fire. They're just not sure what it was."

2013-05-28 - Sawmill burns to the ground at Jackson Pallet Company in Vinton County (Ohio):

Note: And another devastating pallet-related fire. Pallets are made of wood and all flammable absorbent materials are absorbing hydrogen sulfide and/or methane and spontaneously combusting, including wood, paper, cardboard, dried brush, mulch, hay, straw, clothes, cotton, wool, etc. Pallets are also held together with nails or screws, which rust, and hydrogen sulfide is reactive with rusty iron/steel. Finally, pallets are often stored outside, fully exposed to whatever hydrogen sulfide or methane may blow by in the atmosphere. As a consequence there have been a great many fires this past year or so that have involved pallets or pallet companies...

2013-05-28 - Electrical fire breaks out in basement of home in Jersey City (New Jersey):

Note: Jersey City is surrounded by bodies of water. There've been a number of major fires there over the last year or so. In fact, a basement fire broke out in City Hall there late last year, as mentioned in the 2012-11-03 update. Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, and it is a heavier-than-air gas that will tend to accumulate in low-lying areas like basements...

2013-05-28 - Twelve-foot tall tire bursts into flame on gigantic 240-ton truck at business in Hibbing (Minnesota), 1 lightly injured:

Quote: "A 240-ton taconite haul truck at Hibbing Taconite was severely damaged Tuesday morning when a fire ignited on one of its 12-foot tires."

Quote: "The Hibbing Fire Department was contacted at 10:45 a.m. Because of the high fuel load on such trucks and the possibility of the tire exploding, Cliffs and fire crews stayed up to a half-mile away from the truck and let the tire burn..."

Note: They should make one of these a Super Monster Truck for Monster Truck events. Nothing could touch one of these things! It probably gets like 0.1 MPG. Too bad there are no pics...

2013-05-28 - Barn damaged by fire in Batacia (New York):

2013-05-28 - Garbage bursts into flame in garbage truck in Mississauga (Canada), near Lake Ontario:

2013-05-28 - Three recycling bins burst into flame between 5 AM and 6 AM in the last 5 days in coastal Portland (Maine):

Quote: "The fires were reported at 5:56 a.m. on Friday, May 24; at 5:46 a.m. on Saturday; and at 5:34 a.m. on Tuesday."

Note: Hard to blame this on an arsonist. For one thing, nobody cares if trash burns; there's no motive. And these wouldn't be spectacular fires either, just trash burning inside a bin. Also, no arsonist would be so predictable with timing in event after event. For these reasons, they haven't even tried to portray these particular fires as arson, but they also offer no explanation. That's probably because there really is only one explanation: the trash is spontaneously combusting. But why THIS year, and not before? That's because the hydrogen sulfide coming from the oceans hadn't reached high enough levels to cause things like this before recent times...

2013-05-28 - Dumpster bursts into flame at Lakeside Villa Apartments in San Antonio (Texas), fire spreads to cars, homes:

2013-05-28 - Garden furniture bursts into flame at home on Manor Drive in Great Gonerby (Britain):

Note: Huh, hadn't even considered that. But like pallets and porches and decks, outdoor furniture is vulnerable too. Guess I was never rich enough to have indoor AND outdoor furniture, so it didn't even occur to me 'til now. If it's wood, you're safest if you coat it with sealant and/or paint it with a thick coat of glossy exterior paint, and it's probably not safe to have any kind of flammable absorbent cushions on it either...

2013-05-28 - Swimming pool cover bursts into flame at school in Murrow (Britain):

2013-05-28 - Tires burst into flame on Tanhouse Lane in Widnes (Britain):

2013-05-28 - Roof bursts into flame at the Alexandra Hotel in coastal Llandudno (Britain), hotel evacuated:

Note: Seen many roof fires now. What do places like this put on roofs? Satellite dishes and air-circulation systems, so there's going to be some electrified copper wiring up there. A little hydrogen sulfide blows up over the building, finds that wiring, some sparking and sizzling ensues, and you have a fire...

Quote: "One of the winningest quarterbacks in college football history was found dead in the woods of northern Michigan on Tuesday night, days after disappearing while out fishing near his family's cottage."

Quote: "The only solid lead on Finnerty's whereabouts had been the discovery of a small pontoon boat he had been using in Bray Creek, near the Baldwin River, Hilts said. Video from CNN affiliate WTOM showed the boat perched on the waterway's rocky shore."

Quote: "Hilts said the 30-year-old ran into the forest after having a 'nervous episode' and hadn't been seen since. 'He phoned his wife and explained he was afraid,' Hilts told USA Today. 'He left his equipment and ran off into the woods.'"

Note: Very interesting, and of course tragic. Hydrogen sulfide can cause anxiety. He may have gotten a whiff, gotten very anxious, and ran off, then eventually he breathed enough gas that it killed him. He'd abandoned his boat, so at some point he was out on the water, exactly where a heavier-than-air gas like hydrogen sulfide would tend to accumulate...
