Event Update For 2013-09-15

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2013-09-15 - Six passengers sicken on flight from Germany to Chicago (Illinois):
Quote: "Lufthansa Flight 432, carrying 309 passengers from Frankfurt to Chicago, already had made an emergency stop in London, where a passenger who had a heart attack was taken to a hospital, airline spokesman Nils Haupt said Sunday night. After the Boeing 747 took off from London to continue to Chicago, five other passengers complained of chest pressure. 'The cases seemed unrelated,' Haupt said. 'Everything was fine with the aircraft, and there were no complaints about food.' Three doctors who happened to be aboard the plane took care of them until the flight landed in Chicago, he said. "
Note: So they think it's just a coincidence that on the same plane, a guy's heart gave out, and then five other people had chest pains. Doesn't sound like a coincidence to me. As the atmosphere becomes increasingly contaminated with poisonous hydrogen sulfide, more people are going to sicken and/or die on plane flights, or while driving or walking or at home too, for that matter...

Quote: "A 2003 Regal Cruiser driven by David Thompson, 45, had just refueled at the 17 mile marker in Pogue Hollow Cove when Thompson attempted to do maintenance in the engine compartment. An unknown spark ignited the compartment causing injuries and damage."

Note: Unknown spark sounds like a 'ghostly match' igniting. Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, and rusty iron/steel. But for sparking or sizzling to spontaneously happen, the air mix has to be volatile, and most of the volatility can come from ANY flammable vapor source, like gasoline. Then if there's just a bit of hydrogen sulfide in the air mix, a spark occurs near some electrified copper or rusty iron, and then the air itself explodes into flame. You won't see it coming. It's as if there's am invisible ghost wandering around flicking a match here and there. This is most likely to happen during or right after refueling a vehicle, the exact time when you really don't want there to be a spark. The same problem with the 'ghostly match' will hit people siphoning gas, people making cannabis extract with butane, people making meth with flammable vapors, people applying flooring chemicals which are flammable, gas stoves if there's even the slightest leak, etc. People can take all the precautions they want - no flames in the house, burners off, whatever - and it won't matter if the 'ghostly match' ignites on them...

2013-09-15 - 37 homes evacuated because of a methane-water leak near coastal Los Angeles (California):

Quote: "Brian Jordan tells that crews have been working since Thursday to cap the leak found when a water company was trying to cap a well on Imperial Highway in Hawthorne. Jordan says contractors found an unexpected outflow of water, and tests showed methane gas had mixed with the water. Surrounding homes were evacuated and the residents have been staying in hotels. Golden State Water Co. has hired a well-capping company to control the water and gas mixture that is leaking at about 3,000 gallons per minute. Officials are unsure what caused the leak or how long it will take to control."

Note: So, look at the maps of methane clathrate deposits around the world, linked on the right. Among other places, there are such deposits all along the West Coast of North America. Clathrates are methane locked inside frozen water. When they dissociate (melt), the ice becomes water and the methane gas is released. Methane dissolves into water, so you'd expect to see methane-contaminated water unexpectedly bubbling up along coastal areas as clathrates dissociate. This process may also result in land subsidence events like sinkholes as the solid (of a sort) clathrates transform into water and gas. Methane was also detected in the ground around 19 homes in Santa Maria (California) earlier this year, also near the coast, as mentioned in the 2013-01-18 update. Events like this, especially along coasts, make me very nervous...

2013-09-14 - Man acts disoriented and agitated near the Port Authority Bus Terminal (New York), cops shoot, hit two bystanders:

Note: The guy was diving into traffic and he was clearly not right in the head. But he was also unarmed. I dunno, crazy guy, but unarmed, and piles of people around - if you whip out a gun and shoot, you better be damn sure you don't miss, and these cops did, and hit innocent people. They eventually tased this man into submission. Why didn't they just start with that? And isn't this the type of situation where those billy clubs come in handy too? Seems like the cops jumped the gun here, pardon the pun. Sounds like one of those 'if you have a hammer then everything looks like a nail' deals here...
