Event Update For 2013-09-01

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Fires And Explosions
2013-09-01 - Underground fire hits pumping station in North Attleborough (Massachusetts):
Note: The previous underground fire/explosion was waaaaay back day prior, in Detroit, when underground electrical explosions blew manhole covers off, as mentioned in the 2013-08-31 update. These underground explosions and fires are happening with increasing frequency. Hydrogen sulfide is a heavier-than-air gas which will tend to flow to low-lying areas like underground facilities, basements, electrical vaults, sewers, ponds, streams, rivers, ditches, canyons, valleys, quays, etc. It is also reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, like wiring in vehicles and infrastructure. It is also reactive with rusty iron/steel like that found on vehicles and pipes and brackets and the like in underground infrastructure...

2013-09-01 - Truck repair shop destroyed by fire at 3 AM in Guernsey County (Ohio):

2013-09-01 - Luxury auto showroom goes up in flames in coastal Melbourne (Australia):

Note: Supposedly an anarchist group claimed they did this, but the fire investigators say that's not the case. I suspect it was the reactivity of hydrogen sulfide with electrified copper, like vehicle wiring or building wiring, same as all the other non-running vehicle fires and the underground electrical explosions and fires. The anarchist group does have a decent writer though:

Quote: "The flames of anarchist insurrection roared high above the toxic skies of Melbourne..."

Quote: "But by evening a wall reportedly had collapsed, area streets were blocked off and River Line service was halted between the township and Edgewater Park due to fire department activity."

Quote: "The rooftop solar panel system was problematic because it still held a charge even when turned off..."

Note: It was the roof of this building that originally caught fire, and the fire spread from there. They had hundreds or thousands of solar panels on top of this 300,000-square-foot building, so there was electrified copper galore. Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper. Also, Delanco is just east (downwind) of the Delaware River...

Quote: "Barr was told Alexander was a strong swimmer and had not been drinking. It's unclear exactly what went wrong."

Note: It doesn't matter one bit how strong a swimmer you are if you get knocked unconscious by hydrogen sulfide; you'll breathe water until dead, since breathing is an involuntary reflex...

2013-09-01 - Man, 20, dives into Lake Cushman, next seen dead, in Snohomish County (Washington):

Quote: "The bus driver told the CHP his vehicle suffered brake failure and he was unable to stop on a curve and instead smashed into a guard rail, then trees and boulders along the road..."

Note: Lots of massive vehicles losing their brakes lately. The problem is that hydrogen sulfide is being absorbed by tire rubber and brake pads. Then when brakes are applied, an unusual amount of heat is generated, since hydrogen sulfide burns very hot. Then bad things can happen: tires explode or ignite, brakes burn out or ignite, fluid lines rupture (which may include brake lines), the entire vehicle goes up in flames, or all of the above. This problem hits massive vehicles the worst but no vehicle is immune...
