Event Update For 2016-05-19

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2016-05-19 - Gandaria City Mall rocked by explosion in coastal Jakarta (Indonesia), 13 injured:

Quote: "A gas leak did not cause a blast on Thursday morning at one of the capital's high-end malls, Gandaria City in South Jakarta, that left 13 people injured, the mall's management claims. This is despite reports that one of the mall's security officers noticed the smell of gas before the explosion."

Quote: "She said the installed pipe had not yet dispensed gas into the vacant space where the blast took place."

Note: So there was no natural gas service in the area where the explosion occurred, but they did smell 'rotten egg' odor. Well, hydrogen sulfide smells like rotten eggs, at least at low concentrations, and this city is right on the coast. If it was ALL hydrogen sulfide then they'd be dead, but it could've been hydrogen sulfide mixed with methane, which is how it comes out of the ocean, just like the 'foul odor' from a 'naturally occurring methane release' in Santa Monica Bay that hit coastal Santa Monica in 2013, mentioned in the 2013-03-03 update. Obviously that wasn't just methane that the ocean belched up, because methane is odorless...

The glacier is thinning quickly, and its grounding line, where the ice shelf descends and meets the seafloor, has retreated inland three kilometers between 1996 and 2013 in some areas. Finally, recent research has suggested that Totten can only lose a tiny 4.2 percent of its remaining ice shelf before the structure starts losing the ability to brace the larger glacier, holding it in place."

  1. oh, as usual, my first comment disappeared for no apparent reason . .

Ah well, all I said was that a lot of pick-up trucks and a few more trains went up in flames, there's more people dropping dead all over the place, and fires are becoming enormous EARLY this year. We had another garbage truck fire in the hold, and more electrical infrastructure trouble. It just goes on and on, and we have to add this to the naturally occurring incidents of earthquake and volcanoes, sandstorms and sinkholes. Whew! Getting a bit overwhelming, but we still have a long way to go.

The increase in carbon dioxide level

This is from Roger Caldwell an American scientist in the Philipines concerned with climate change. It's not good news.

"Last year, 2015, saw the largest rise in global CO2 concentration since records began. The rise was 2.99ppm. This year, that record will again get smashed, as were already 3.58ppm higher than 2015.

This is happening even though mankind emissions have stayed flat for the last 3 years (according to the IEA) due largely to phenomenal growth of RE (wind and solar).

This is really bad news because it means that nature, not man, is now in control of the extinction event that we started.

The record El NiƱo can be credited for part of the rise, for example, the combined years of '97/'98 saw an increase of 4.78ppm. But it doesn't compare to the 6.57ppm were seeing thus far in '15/'16.

We've crossed the tipping point. CO2 is now rising faster due to climate feedback than it is to mans emissions. In other words, we're fucked."
