Event Update For 2016-05-04

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2016-05-04 - Huge wildfire shifts direction near Fort McMurray in Alberta (Canada), evacuation centers evacuated:

Quote: "The wildfire that devastated the Fort McMurray region this week is expected to trigger the largest insured property losses from a single disaster in Canadian history. With an estimated 1,600 homes, small businesses and other structures destroyed in the inferno — more than four times the number of homes lost in the disastrous Slave Lake fire — insurance losses could range as high as $9.3 billion."

Note: There was a Samsung plant that went up in flames in 2014 in South Korea, and that fire did about a billion dollars in damage, mentioned in the 2014-03-09 update. That was just one facility that burned though, so it's not really comparable to a city burning. Looks like this McMurray fire will easily dwarf the billion-dollar cost of the Samsung fire though, comparable or not...

2016-05-04 - Himalayas going up in flames as 21,000 fires burn on the flanks of the mountains, 9000 people fight the fires:

Quote: "The temperatures are so high that more than 300 people have now perished as a result of heat injuries. And Indian officials have now banned cooking during the day in an effort to reduce loss of life. But today the forests themselves are cooking as the air is filled with the smoke of more than 21,000 fires burning upon the flanks of India’s great mountain ranges."

Quote: "Now conditions are so extreme that an army of 9,000 firefighters, including helicopter fire suppression craft, have been mobilized by the government of India in a desperate effort to beat back the flames."

Quote: "'The worker was carrying out welding work on the buoy when it exploded,' a source with knowledge of the investigation said. The source added that the buoy was like a metal container, and it was possible that there had been some unknown gas inside."

Note: So what explosively flammable 'unknown gas' could possibly get into a buoy floating in the ocean? The oceans only emit two flammable gases: methane and hydrogen sulfide. This is the 780th boat or ship to burn in 2016...

2016-05-04 - Extreme snowfall and frost damage crops across Europe:

Note: The only reason Europe is normally so temperate is because of the ocean current that brings oceanic heat up around the US East Coast and across the Atlantic Ocean. Now that Greenland is melting so rapidly and dumping vast amounts of icy fresh water into the ocean, causing that giant 'cold blob' in the Atlantic, it looks like that heat is no longer making it to Europe, at least not as much as it normally does. So even as most of the rest of the world bakes, Europe appears to be suffering from cold. It's like Europe's heating system got shut off. Maybe once Greenland is done melting, that problem will disappear. Of course, by the time Greenland is done melting, all of the coastal cities on the planet will be 20 feet underwater, which will present all kinds of other problems...

  1. Huge uptick in JJFH incidents (like those of the X-Files, only for real, much more often, to many more people and we're in it). Reading your daily posts, one gets a sense of the degree to which this extinction event is progressing. It waxes and wanes, but is steadily upward.

On this day we're seeing fire season ramping up in some places - now involving PEAT fires (um .. that's like, the ground is on children?) but the spread of gases causing building, bridge, and other infrastructure collapse and degradation, especially due to explosion and fire, but also causing havoc on vehicle transportation, waste removal and other important supply-chain effects.

The numbers of people suddenly shutting off, going berserk, and having 'medical issues' (especially while driving) is steadily increasing. We're also seeing increases in animal, insect and marine attacks on people; while the entire marine food chain and ecosystem are being decimated because the ocean is becoming more acidic and warmer causing massive and steady aquatic die-offs.

I could go on, but will spare you all and stop there. Great job keeping up with this, Jonny. I can't say thank you enough for providing this/your perspective. | Leopard grabs boy, 5, at private nature reserve
