Event Update For 2016-05-18

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Quote: "The order applies to all buildings larger than 5,000 square feet built on federal lands in high-risk areas of what is known as the wildland-urban interface, areas where urban development encroaches on wooded areas susceptible to wildfires. There are an estimated 6,256 federal buildings in those areas, mostly owned by the departments of Agriculture and Interior. The order requires new or expanded buildings in those areas to use a building code designed to protect the buildings and their occupants from fire."

Note: Increasing amounts of flammable methane and hydrogen sulfide are entering the atmosphere every minute of every hour of every day. Sometimes enough gas will accumulate to ignite and/or explode, thus the rise of mysterious city-shaking explosions in recent years across the world, sometimes accompanied by a 'flash of light' and sometimes accompanied by a 'sulfur smell'. Fly a plane through a cloud of flammable gas and it may be destroyed by fire and/or explosion. Could be that's what happened here. We'll never know for sure because they're just gonna say it was a terrorist attack or something like that, regardless of the truth, in order to keep people calm and oblivious as they die. 1. Welp, got a new car this week. Sounds crazy, I know. It was the woman's idea. At first I was gonna try to talk her out of it, but then I reconsidered, for a few reasons. First, the car we traded in was eight years old, so getting a new car did a complete 'rust reset', which might cut down on the chances of it going up in flames. Secondly, the eight-year-old car was about to need new tires, new brakes and a new battery, at the very least - not our problem anymore. Third, I wanted us to have a car with a high safety rating, and the one we got (Toyota Avalon Limited) has a very high safety rating. (That's in case one of us slumps over and crashes, or some other driver does so and hits us.) Fourth, we'd been saving since the previous car was paid off five years ago, so we were able to just pay for it outright (which saved $3k off the price, although they did offer 0% financing). Finally, I just want the woman to be happy, and she loves this new car. Plus, we have no kids, so there's not a huge reason to stockpile a bunch of money - can't take it with us!

  2. Both a good idea and a nice selection (appropriate to your situation). Look, it's obvious now that no matter what we do, it's over - and "sooner than expected." So empire is not going to collapse, until it does. The economy isn't going anywhere, until suddenly money is worthless and/or there's nothing to buy. Civilization is LOOKING at extinction - where witnessing the accelerating die-offs, including plants, crops, and trees, among all the marine and other life (ALL OF WHICH WE NEED TO SURVIVE) - is the flashing warning "sign." Few are paying attention, and those of us who are can do nothing but sit by and watch in horrid fascination as we see it all end. Good luck with it and may you and "the woman" be always safe from harm.

India records its hottest temperature ever amid heat wave

[I have a sneaking suspicion that these types of 'weather events' are "rotating around the globe," so that, sooner or later we'll be the victims. Just keep in mind, we did this to ourselves, living the way we do. It wasn't our fault - since we're all "born into captivity" and the system was set up long before we got here - but we've only made it worse by growing like a cancer.]

A city in western India has suffered through the country's highest temperature in history — a scorching 51 degrees Celsius (123.8 degrees Fahrenheit).

Inside The Looming Disaster Of The Salton Sea

BOMBAY BEACH, CA — The lake is drying up, uncounted dead fish line the shore, and the desert town is losing people.

It could be the plot of a post-apocalyptic movie set in the future, but this is actually happening here and it has been going on for years. It wasn’t always like this, of course. There was a time when this town was booming. There was a time when the Salton Sea, California’s largest lake, was the “French Riviera” of the state, and the pride and joy of Imperial County. But that was decades ago, during the Sea’s heydays of the 1950s and 1960s. Back when this area had luxury resorts, piers, yachts, and thousands of visitors, including stars like Frank Sinatra — who owned a house in nearby Palm Springs and would come down to see Guy Lombardo sail his speedboat.

  3. Speaking of 'weather events' coming around, and in light of the record-breaking heatwave in India, check out the latest from FEMA:

Things that make you go 'Hmmmm....'

  4. From the email I got from FEMA (FEMAil!): "America’s PrepareAthon! will focus on extreme heat and how to prepare for this intense weather condition next week, Sunday, May 22 – Saturday, May 28."

Not knocking any kind of preparations, just pointing out when there are preparations going on. 'Everything is fine...but prepare for bad shit!'

  5. Oh man, that lends a little weight to my theory - that's extreme heat will be visiting the U.S. and that it's usually worse in the interior of large continents (because they don't get the amelioration from the nearby ocean as those on the coasts do). Pay attention to what they say, but I think you could figure out even better preps or more that one could do, Jonny - you schmaht cookie.

The Weather Channel shows the entire state of PA well above average into the summer (once we get past all this rainy, cool weather). I don't know where you are in Missouri, but their projected temp map cuts your state roughly in half with the northern part hotter.
