Event Update For 2015-12-22

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. Gettin' mighty doomy 'roun'-he'!

Great job Jonny on this update. Lots of the usual stuff, but some new incidents too - like the Skytrain derailing (to where?). Ya know that mail truck and the Fed Ex truck burnin' up indicates that a lot of Christmas cards and pkgs won't be delivered.

Another garbage truck goes up in smoke. Two people dyin' in the same jail a mere 12 hrs apart is suspicious.

Brazil declares emergency after 2,400 babies are born with brain damage, possibly due to mosquito-borne virus

Brazilian health authorities are sounding the alarm about a mosquito-borne virus that they believe may be the cause of thousands of infants being born with damaged brains.

The pathogen, known as Zika and first discovered in forest monkeys in Africa over 70 years ago, is the new West Nile -- a virus that causes mild symptoms in most but can lead to serious neurological complications or even death in others. Brazil's health ministry said on Nov. 28 that it had found the Zika virus in a baby with microcephaly — a rare condition in which infants are born with shrunken skulls — during an autopsy after the child died. The virus was also found in the amniotic fluid of two mothers whose babies had the condition.

"This is an unprecedented situation, unprecedented in world scientific research," the ministry said in a statement on its website, according to CNN.

'Large & extremely dangerous:' 7 dead in United States after 21 tornadoes sweep through South, Midwest regions

At least seven people, including a child, were killed after at least 21 tornadoes swept through the South and Midwest of the United States. Forty others were injured by the powerful twisters, with two people still missing.

There were at least 21 reports of tornadoes and confirmed twisters in Mississippi, Tennessee and Indiana on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). Those reports included a "large and extremely dangerous" tornado near Oxford, Mississippi.

Most of the fatalities occurred in Mississippi, which was hit by at least 15 tornadoes. One particular twister did most of the damage, starting in Mississippi and ending in western Tennessee. According to the National Weather Service, it may have been on the ground for 150 miles (241km).
