Event Update For 2015-12-11

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. Crazy deadly fire in Russia, 23 killed:

  2. The one incident that stands out here is the car fire at at The Chequer Bronington in Whitchurch - for which there is no information. Is this some secret MI6 site or a government installation? Perhaps its one of those billionaires clubs that don't want any publicity. Gone-haf-ta do a lil rye-surchin' on 'at when i get a minit.

Great post Jonny. There's a DEVO song that is called Freedom of Choice too:!

That couple-million dollar home on the lake that exploded must have been a sight, eh? Good thing the new owners hadn't moved in yet. . .heh, and watch 'em "rebuild." Stupidity/ignorance.

Man, it's hard to take when the young ones die before they've even had a chance to experience anything. That 20 year old girl in PA dying' along the creek - that's a loss too. Somebody's daughter, girlfriend .. . Same goes for the others: somebody's brother, dad, gram-pa [god, this die-off business sucks]. And i really feel bad too for the other species we're poisoning - they had a great habitat until we got here.

Here's some more death and destruction accounts:

Huge fire kills 22 people at a neurological hospital in central Russia

At least 22 people have been killed and about two dozen injured in a fire at a neurological hospital in Russia's central Voronezh region. Authorities scour the rubble of the wooden structure which was destroyed by the blaze

[This is translated from Russian, so what does that mean "scour the rubble?" they're still looking for people, or that something so toxic was on it that they had to scrub it down?]

Authorities believe that a wiring malfunction in the hospital's electrical system might be the cause of the tragedy.

Tornado whips through Canterbury, New Zealand

A tornado whipped through Canterbury this afternoon, while heavy rain and lightning strikes caused flooding and small fires.

The Fire Service said it had been stretched to the limit, with callouts to several small fires caused by lightning, trees crashing down on powerlines and flooding.

A hail storm hit just after 2pm, and left more than 5000 homes in south-west Christchurch without power. [whew!]

[and now, news of the big race to the bottom - which will crash first, the global economy or the environment?]
The Global Commodity Crash Tells Us That A Major Deflationary Financial Crisis Is Imminent

If we really are plunging into a deflationary global financial crisis, we would expect to see commodity prices crash hard. That happened just before the great stock market crash of 2008, and that is precisely what is happening once again right now. On Thursday, the Bloomberg Commodity Index closed at 79.1544. The last time that it closed this low was 16 years ago. Not even during the worst moments of the last recession did it ever get so low.

  3. Part II of my too-long opening comment

    [ends with]

And it’s not the first time, either. All these conferences go the same way. To halt the demise of the planet, you can’t rely on the same people who cause it. Never works.

Heavy Rain, Blizzard Focus on Central US Sunday

Potentially flooding rain will continue to focus on the central United States on Sunday as a blizzard unfolds in western Kansas.

While the central U.S. will remain in the midst of tranquil weather into the second week of December, a major storm has taken shape during the second weekend of the month.

According to AccuWeather Chief Meteorologist Elliot Abrams, this will be a dynamic storm as it swings across the Central states. [check out the map at the bottom]

  6. Rain hitting my area now, not too bad, or at least no trains getting blown off tracks anyway. Probably needed the rain. But need normal winter temps more. Trees need their sleep time. When I was in a bonsai-growing phase, I tried to keep some trees indoors, and they were trees that normally sleep in the winter, and they all died. The books I'd read said that would happen, but I just didn't believe it, until I saw it, then I believed it. Winter sleep for many species - not optional, required.

  7. Hey, we're still here!

    D'ja see this Jonny?

Egypt says no evidence of terrorism in Russian plane crash

Egypt said on Monday it had found no evidence so far of terrorism or other illegal action linked to the crash of a Russian passenger plane in Sinai that killed all 224 people on board on Oct. 31.

Russia and Western governments have said the Airbus A321 operated by Metrojet was likely brought down by a bomb, and the Islamic State militant group said it had smuggled an explosive on board.

But Egypt's civil aviation ministry said it had completed a preliminary report on the crash and said it had so far found no evidence of a criminal act. [little more]

  8. That matches what Russia also initially said, that there was no trace of explosives, although after two weeks they suddenly contradicted themselves. And nope, hadn't seen that, so thanks!
