2013-03-31 - Spike in marine mammal strandings documented along coasts in Louisiana and Mississippi:
http://www.wwltv.com/news/local/Spike-in-marine-mammal-strandings-documented-along-LAMS-coast-199250181.html

Quote: ""We have been advised not to discuss our findings or any results from our necropsies or analysis..."

Note: Ostensibly, they're not supposed to discuss their findings because of BP-related litigation. That's probably ONE reason. The other is that some of these dead mammals are probably showing serious damage to their eyes, internal organs, possibly tears in their skin, from exposure to high levels of hydrogen sulfide emanating from the dead zones in the Gulf of Mexico, and if people knew that then people downwind (like in Florida) might start to scrutinize all the mysterious deaths occurring in Florida, especially along the Gulf Coast, and eventually someone would put 2 and 2 together...

http://www.abc27.com/story/21831045/four-horses-found-dead-on-york-county-farm

Quote: "Officials say it appears the horses didn't die from starvation. Melissa Smith, executive director of the York County SPCA, said they are looking into the possibility that the animals were poisoned. They have to determine if it was intentional or not."

Note: Might've just breathed in some poisonous hydrogen sulfide. They certainly weren't well-shielded from hydrogen sulfide blowing around the atmosphere. That's also why you see lots of PEOPLE mysteriously dropping dead OUTSIDE. At least when you're inside - as long as your central heat or air isn't running and your windows are closed - then you're at least somewhat protected...

2013-03-27 - Thousands of dead fish washing ashore at beaches in Southern Australia:
http://au.news.yahoo.com/latest/a/-/latest/16427549/dead-fish-wash-up-on-sa-beaches/
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-03-25/seaweed-piles-up-along-glenelg-beach/4592230

Quote: "Environment Department chief executive Allan Holmes says the seaweed pile-up and fish deaths could both have been caused by warmer seas. 'Those two things possibly are linked. The suggestion is that the warmer gulf temperatures are responsible for lower oxygen levels and those fish kills,' he said."

Note: Warmer ocean temperatures also melt methane clathrate deposits and broaden the viable habitat for the ancient anaerobic archaea and bacteria that produce hydrogen sulfide, which is as lethal to fish as it is to birds and humans and other oxygen-using life...
