Event Update For 2015-02-17

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Note: These underground fires and explosions are getting worse. The problem wasn't nearly this bad last year, or the year before, or ever. As the atmospheric contamination problem intensifies, it was expected that these incidents would become more problematic, and they are. It's clearly worse on the East Coast, which is probably related to all of the following: 1) the gigantic methane clathrate deposit melting and releasing methane off the East Coast; 2) the deployment of two billion-dollar blimps on the East Coast whose primary mission is to the identify 'air-breathing threats'; 3) the NTSB wanting to check all mass-transit underground facilities around the country for fire/explosion danger; 4) responders recently training in coastal NYC to deal with the aftermath of a large 10-kiloton explosion...

  1. Yee-hah! It's freakin' COLD, dude! Headin' for a high of 19 today (and projected low of -2 tonight)! Break out the sun block! Tomorrow will be colder as the coldest air in the Northern Hemisphere pays a visit to Tom. Snow expected tonight, tomorrow and Saturday (but it could change rapidly to something else - like rain - as some moisture-laden Gulf of Mexico air makes its way to PA).

Very interesting stuff in this report, Jonny, and i like your detailed explanations with links to research articles.

Yeah - with 8 FEET of snow on a roof, it's bound to give way - that shit's HEAVY!
i saw pictures of people with snow-blowers on their roofs trying to clear it off! On the news this morning, the airport in Boston has to find new places to put the runway snow so that they comply with the height limit set by the FAA, and they were moving it with HUGE Caterpillar bulldozers. If this is the new normal, we're gonna have real problems going forward. i wonder what summer has in store for us?

Striped sparrow resident in Mexico turns up 700 miles from home for the first time in the US

Arctic chill to bring coldest U.S. temperatures since late-1800s in East; record cold in Midwest, South

[in related news, some guy in PA can't find his nuts]

4,750 square miles of Great Lakes freezes overnight; total ice cover 82%

  2. You got me on what summer has in store for us! From 2009 to 2012 the date that I could plant plants outdoors in the spring crept progressively earlier, from May 1 (which is normal for this area) in 2009 to March 26 in 2012. And then after 2012 it has become kinda random. Those Arctic winds were howling last night, that's for sure. Brrrr!
