Note: I'm sure the weather was a factor, but I'm not so sure it was the ONLY factor. It's snowed in previous years too, sometimes heavily, and I don't recall many - if any - crashes of this caliber. The Youtube video shows some of the fireworks going off. This happened in the daytime though, so it's not as spectacular a sight as you might expect from 20 tons of fireworks cooking off...
