Event Update For 2021-01-04

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2021-01-04 - Global warming already baked in will blow past climate goals:

Quote: "But it’s not game over because, while that amount of warming may be inevitable, it can be delayed for centuries if the world quickly stops emitting extra greenhouse gases from the burning of coal, oil and natural gas, the study’s authors say."

Note: So all we have to do is give up all vehicles and electricity and we can delay doom for a while?! Well, as long as the Earth itself doesn't escalate its own emissions. Which it already is...

2021-01-04 - Ambulances will no longer transport patients in cardiac arrest due to lack of ICU beds in Los Angeles County (California), oxygen running low too:

Quote: "The Los Angeles County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Agency issued a memo last week to ambulance workers. 'Effective immediately, due to the severe impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on EMS and 9-1-1 Receiving Hospitals, adult patients (18 years of age or older) in blunt traumatic and nontraumatic out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) shall not be transported [if] return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) is not achieved in the field,' the agency said."

Quote: "The Covid-19 surge has also led to a shortage of supplemental oxygen, meaning some patients treated by EMS will go without. 'Given the acute need to conserve oxygen, effective immediately, EMS should only administer supplemental oxygen to patients with oxygen saturation below 90%,' Los Angeles County EMS said in its memo."

Note: They'll try CPR in the field. If they can't get a pulse then the person won't be transported to the hospital. Patients who ARE transported to the hospital are having to wait hours to get into the hospital due to the hospitals now being completely overwhelmed, so anyone in cardiac arrest would obviously be completely dead by that time with no chance of survival, so there's no point in transporting them...

2021-01-04 - Why Koch's postulates don't apply to COVID-19 or any other virus:

Note: Koch's postulates were outdated as soon as viruses were discovered. Koch only knew about bacteria. Viruses hijack the machinery of other cells for reproduction so they can't be 'isolated' and 'cultured' like (some) bacteria, so Koch's postulates don't apply to viruses and never have. They were flawed from the outset even without that problem, but that WAS 130 years ago. We've learned a thing or two in the last 130 years, not just that Koch's postulates are outdated and don't apply to viruses but other things too, like leeches aren't all that great a treatment for most ailments!

  1. Well there you go, Jonny - Koch's postulate isn't valid, but the PCR test still isn't a reliable test for the bioweapon. Vaccines that aren't vaccines are being peddled to an unsuspecting guinea pig population of humans and elections can be easily stolen via electronic (hackable) voting machines so they aren't really elections! Good to know!

How about starting this new year with a shit ton of Hull UK JJFH events AND garbage truck fires? Looks like i'm counting again (which will force me to go back and count all the ones from last year). Meanwhile Jonny, i'll post the stats on the stuff you keep track of daily when i get a chance.

[recall that Mr. Snyder is a Republican and i'm a former independent turned non-voter]
Experts Are Warning That The Stock Market Could Fall Dramatically If Democrats Take Control Of The Senate

The results from Georgia are going to have enormous implications for the financial markets. If Democrats win both of the seats that are up for grabs, that will give them control of the Senate, the House of Representatives and the White House. For the first time since the first two years of Barack Obama’s presidency, the Democrats would have an opportunity to advance their agenda without compromising with the Republicans, and that is extremely frightening for investors. The Democrats have made it very clear that they intend to raise taxes on big corporations and the ultra-wealthy, and that wouldn’t be good for the stock market bubble at all.

As I write this article, the two races are still too close to call, and we probably won’t know the final results for a while.

But experts are already warning that we could see a huge stock market decline if both Democratic candidates win. [more; who cays?]

They Are Doing It Again, And We Have Seen It Happen Way Too Many Times Before…

It appears to be happening again. As I write this article, 92 percent of the vote has been counted in Georgia, and both Republicans are leading. Kelly Loeffler has a lead of 2 percent over Ralph Warnock, and David Perdue has a lead of 2.8 percent over Jon Ossoff. In the old days, leads of that size this late in the vote count would be enough to call both races. But this is 2020, and we are being told that huge waves of votes from key Democratic strongholds could swing both races in favor of the Democrats. Just like we saw in November, it appears that votes that will be counted in the middle of the night while most of the nation is sleeping will make all the difference. Mysterious energy source melts Tel Aviv sidewalks, prompting evacuations of several buildings in Israel

About two weeks ago, residents of Tel Aviv noticed that a concrete surface outside their buildings was heating up and steam was coming out of the ground. Tests showed that the steam, which was as hot as 60°C (140°F), was water-based.

The city said it would “continue to monitor the temperature of the ground, which is expected to take a long time to cool, and will continue to look into the causes of the unusual event.“

The Israel Electric Corporation didn’t find any connections between the heat and the power grid in the area.

The Geological Survey of Israel confirmed the temperature increase after testing ground and water temperature levels, but said it had so far found no explanation for it. [more]

Michigan judge nullifies crucial permit for mining project

Legalizing marijuana, once a pipe dream on Capitol Hill, takes an important step forward

In early December, the House of Representatives passed the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act, or the MORE Act.

The bill sought to decriminalize marijuana nationally by removing cannabis from the federal government’s Schedule I controlled substance list. That category indicates the drug has high potential for abuse and no therapeutic value. It also includes drugs like methamphetamine and heroin.

The bill is a long way from passage. With a new Congress just seated, it would need to be reintroduced and pass again in the House. Even if that happens, it is unlikely to get through the Senate. [more]

Maybe 'dark matter' doesn't exist after all, new research suggests

For decades, astronomers, physicists and cosmologists have theorized that the universe is filled with an exotic material called "dark matter" that explains the stranger gravitational behavior of galaxies and galaxy clusters.

Dark matter, according to mathematical models, makes up three-quarters of all the matter in the universe. But it’s never been seen or fully explained. And while dark matter has become the prevailing theory to explain one of the bigger mysteries of the universe, some scientists have looked for alternative explanations for why galaxies act the way they do.

Now, an international team of scientists says it has found new evidence that perhaps dark matter doesn’t really exist after all.

In research published in November in the Astrophysical Journal, the scientists report tiny discrepancies in the orbital speeds of distant stars that they think reveals a faint gravitational effect – and one that could put an end to the prevailing ideas of dark matter. [more]

A mysterious series of letters and numbers are appearing on the door frames of houses across the country.

It may look like a string of code, or a particularly complicated scientific equation, but those worrying that the end is nigh, fear not – this is merely the resurrection of a centuries-old Christian tradition, currently being touted as ‘Holy graffiti’.

The trend for ‘chalking the door’ – a blessing which is believed to have originated in, and spread from, Central Europe at the end of the Middle Ages – has seen an uptake in recent weeks as Britons look for a sense of community in a bid to lift spirits.

Those partaking in the trend chalk their doors with the names or initials of the three wise men, or Magi, and the numerals of the New Year, connected with a series of crosses.

The initials C, M, and B commemorate the Magi (Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar), but also stand for the Latin prayer-request Christus Mansionem Benedicat: “May Christ bless this house.”

In this way, this year doors are being marked with the commemoration: 20+C+M+B+21.

The so-called ‘Holy graffiti’ has seen huge growth in England amid Covid-19 restrictions as Christians use the chalk to mark their doorway in a traditional Epiphany celebration. [more]

The end of old Arctic ice
Michael Mann thinks everything will be alright and that climate change will vanish once we reduce our emissions (sic)

Ice arches holding Arctic's 'last ice area' in place are at risk, researcher says
    https://robinwestenra.blogspot.com/2021/01/the-end-of-old-arctic-ice.html [Phys.org]

Snugged up against the upper edges of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago and Greenland lies the oldest and thickest sea ice in the world, covering hundreds of thousands of square kilometers of ocean. Arctic sea ice grows and shrinks with the seasons, but this ice has so far lasted even through the warmest summers on record.

Scientists call this region "the last ice area." They say it could endure even after the rest of the Arctic becomes ice-free in the warmer months, providing a vital refuge for polar bears, walruses and other species that rely on sea ice to survive.

But recent research at the University of Toronto Mississauga suggests the last ice area may be in more peril than previously thought. In a recent paper published in the journal Nature Communications, Professor Kent Moore and his co-authors describe how this multi-year ice is at risk not just of melting in place, but of floating southward into warmer regions. This, in turn, would create an "ice deficit" and hasten the disappearance of the last ice area.

Republican lawmakers in both chambers are expected to object to the certification of results in at least three states. The objections will trigger a round of debate on each state, but they will not change the result.
