The transformation in fire behavior has happened fast, with this exponential increase happening in just one generation over the course of 30 years."

http://theindependent.com/news/world/worlds-hottest-november-ever-recorded-report-says/article_15b6b439-f49f-52af-ab4d-4d93dcb030e2.html
http://desdemonadespair.net/2020/12/global-november-temperatures-reached-a-record-high-in-2020-europe-experienced-its-warmest-autumn-on-record.html

Quote: "The world experienced its hottest November on record, according to data from the EU’s Copernicus Climate Change Service. Globally, November temperatures were almost 0.8 degrees Celsius above the average for 1981- 2010 and 0.1 degrees higher than last year. This warming comes despite the cooling effect of the La Niña weather system."

Quote: "Copernicus data shows that in addition to November being the hottest recorded, 2020 as a whole could be the hottest year on record. So far, it is on par with 2016, the warmest year on record, and is likely to equal the record or marginally exceed it unless temperatures drop this month."

Note: Just as global warming easily overrode the minor cooling of solar minimum, global warming is also overriding the somewhat more significant cooling of La Niña. And even though the pandemic slowed industry a bit across the world, atmospheric greenhouse gas levels have continued to break records, so there's much more warming ahead of us. Warming lags greenhouse gases by decades, so the climate destabilization we're seeing now is because of what we did decades ago. So no matter what we do now, there will be vastly more warming in the years to come and the climate will continue to destabilize.

Once the climate destabilization becomes extreme enough, crops will regularly fail, widespread famine will ensue and civilization will collapse. Some scientists estimate we have until 2050 until civilization collapses. Maybe they're right, but that seems overly optimistic to me considering how fast the climate is destabilizing now. I wouldn't recommend having kids. If you have any kids, you might want to buy them a recipe book on how to cook people because that's apt to be what they're gonna be eating unless someone eats them first...

Quote: "Dead fish have been washing up along a 60-mile stretch of the Hudson River, reaching as far north as Putnam County — and advocates fear they are suffocating to death following a similar mass fish fatality over the summer."

Quote: "'Observers took videos of fish gasping for air while swimming in circles and dying in the waters off the Upper West Side of Manhattan and Horan’s Landing in Sleepy Hollow,' the group wrote on its blog."

Quote: "Bayonne public information officer Joe Ryan told the publication that the mass die-off is usually due to a lack of oxygen in the water — a climate change-linked problem that caused hundreds of fish to suffocate in July."

Note: The warmer the waters of the planet get, the less oxygen the water can hold. Hundreds of dead zones have been spreading across the oceans. As with the Permian-Triassic extinction event, the oceans will die off hardest in the current extinction event too, but most land-based species will also die off, especially species that reproduce slowly, like human beings...

Quote: "This topic (methane emissions) is a key challenge - consequences from the permafrost’s thawing, which develops due to the global climate changes. We cannot say clearly how much this process influences the climate, but the main ‘candidate’ to explain those massive emissions is the destabilization of hydrates (gas hydrates consisting of water and methane), which are in a giant quantity under the permafrost and inside it - two-fold bigger than in the atmosphere..."

http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/08912963.2020.1849178

Quote: "Mass extinctions of life on Earth appear to follow a regular pattern, a new study suggests. In fact, widespread die-offs of land-dwelling animals – which include amphibians, reptiles, mammals and birds – follow a cycle of about 27 million years, the study reports. The study also said these mass extinctions coincide with major asteroid impacts and devastating volcanic outpourings of lava."

Note: A pattern which repeats cyclically, regularly. There's a very good reason for that. The reason is that ORBITS are cyclical - and we are a binary solar system. The other star is a brown dwarf, a collapsed 'failed' star, which was captured by the Sun's much more powerful gravitational field - barely - hundreds of millions of years ago. That's when the cyclical extinction events began. Its orbit is extremely elliptical, but every once in a while it plows into the inner solar system and is then flung far away again, possibly as far as 2 or 3 light years, not to return again for another 27-ish million years. The orbit won't be perfectly regular because it is a low-mass collapsed star so as it leaves the inner system, the gravitational forces of the big planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune) can slightly perturb its vector on the way out.

The effects of its passages are the likely explanation for numerous oddities in what we think of as our solar system, including Pluto's aberrant orbit, the asteroid belt (a planet or planetoid that got too close to the brown dwarf during one cycle and was torn apart by tidal forces), and the 'unknown event' that caused massive volcanism on Venus and also not only stopped Venus from rotating but made it rotate BACKWARDS, unlike any other planet or moon in the solar system. The changing of rotational speed is accomplished via magnetic friction between the core of a planet and the powerful magnetic field of the brown dwarf. Friction also causes heat from below which can result in increased volcanism. The brown dwarf must have come about as close to Venus as it possibly could without tearing Venus apart and forming another asteroid belt. Just imagine how much energy it takes to stop an entire PLANET from rotating and then make it rotate (slowly) BACKWARDS. That much friction created vast amounts of heat and volcanism and turned Venus into the hellish planet that it is today.

The reason that these extinction events also coincide with asteroid impacts and devastating volcanism is because when the brown dwarf comes through, it brings its own debris field along with whatever it ensnares in the Oort cloud on the way in, and it also perturbs objects in the Oort cloud, throwing them about in random directions. The volcanism is from its magnetic field grinding against the magnetic field of Earth's iron core and causing heating from within the planet which results in volcanism. Have you noticed a lot of 'fireballs' and meteors in recent years? That's the brown dwarf's debris field now passing through the inner solar system. Some of it is zipping by us at close range, some of it is hitting us. Space is large though, so most of it is just going through without any effect on us. Still, we are now in a time of increased danger from a major impact.

This brown dwarf, our second sun, came through the inner solar system sometime in the 2010-2012 timeframe and is now on its way back out of the inner solar system. Mars warmed anomalously around that time and so did the Earth. Both Earth and Mars heated up in that same timeframe because they were both being heated EXTERNALLY by the same source. The brown dwarf doesn't emit visible light but it does emit infrared, which heats up planets that get close enough, as both Mars and Earth did. Ten years before Mars and Earth heated up, Pluto also heated up anomalously even as it was getting farther from the Sun and should have been cooling. That was when the brown dwarf came close enough to Pluto to heat it up a bit on its way into the inner solar system. There were many unexplained 'second sun' sightings during that time from all around the planet. While the brown dwarf is a dark object and doesn't emit visible light itself, it does REFLECT light from other sources and it was close enough to the Sun for us to see it via the sunlight that it was reflecting. Most people didn't notice or bought the various 'official' explanations.

The US first detected this brown dwarf with the IRAS satellite in 1983-1984. Scientists were all set to announce a major discovery - indeed, what could possibly be a bigger discovery than the fact that we have a second sun, that our solar system - like most solar systems - is a binary system? But shortly after they said they were going to announce their discovery, someone must have noticed something alarming: that over time the brown dwarf wasn't moving across the field of view. It was only getting larger. That meant that it was coming more or less straight at us - an extinction event on the way. Since such an announcement would collapse civilization, the US government kept it secret and the scientists soon announced, 'Never mind, we were wrong, there was nothing, our bad.'

Since that time, in the 1980s, the US and allies have been preparing for a planetary extinction event. The only way for humanity to survive what's coming on Earth (a repeat of the Permian-Triassic extinction event) is to grow humanity as large as possible, develop necessary technologies, and establish colonies on other bodies than Earth. For example, the Moon and Mars - both will be more habitable than the Earth. If that means 7 billion people end up dying here on Earth, is that price not worth it if humanity itself continues on? Somebody decided so. And 'they' wouldn't have been able to convince people to control their reproduction anyway, not without telling them the truth - if even then - which would have collapsed civilization too early for enough preparations to be made for Humanity 2.0 to survive.

So what's coming? More earthquakes and volcanism, the oceans going anoxic and spewing hydrogen sulfide which poisons the oceans and the land. Fires and more fires, eventually burning everything on the surface of the Earth. Loss of ability to grow crops followed by widespread starvation and population collapse. Radical climate destabilization. Rising UV levels. Extinction of most forms of life on Earth, especially those that require oxygen and/or which reproduce slowly. 'Climate change' and 'global warming' are certainly real, but they also serve as a kind of camouflage to hide the effects of the brown dwarf's passage. Absent humanity, things would have gotten catastrophically bad on Earth anyway, just as happened with previous extinction events when the brown dwarf came through when there were no human beings around.

There's much more I could say, side stories that connect to this overarching one, involving the mass of the reference kilogram and how the methodology used to measure its mass (since changed) could be used as an unintentional 'anomalous gravitational force detector' and which did indeed detect an anomalous gravitational force, a secret coordinated effort to destroy sundials around the world, unusual tidal events, Google changing some things in order to help keep reality hidden from people, scientists in radiation suits in Antarctica filming the brown dwarf in the sky as it passed nearby, lots of interesting stuff. But there's little point. Few will ever see what I've written and fewer still would believe it if they did, so it's not of much consequence. Most people will die in ignorance or denial. They already are. I've learned to accept that that's just the way it is.

In time the Earth will heal, long after we're gone, as it has before. But the brown dwarf will be back again...

Quote: "Three times the size of Texas, the Greenland ice sheet covers around 656,000 square miles. A vast repository of fresh water, it is the largest single contributor to global sea level rise, and has the potential to increase ocean levels by up to seven meters (23 feet). A recent study suggests the ice melt -- accelerated by the climate crisis -- may have already reached a point of no return."

Quote: "Cook's research on a part of the Greenland ice sheet spanning 3,900 square miles revealed that algae is responsible for up to 13% of the ice melt. In some localized areas, the algae accelerated melting by up to 26%."

Quote: "The spreading algae boosts ice melt, releasing more water and nutrients held in the ice, which in turn promotes algae growth -- a process Cook describes as a 'vicious feedback cycle.'"

Note: When they found some algae causing discoloration of ice in Antarctica a while back, I said then that this looked like it was going to be an accelerating problem, another self-reinforcing feedback, that would affect large areas of ice all over the planet. And awaaaay we go! So whatever projections have been made about ice melt, sea level rise and planetary temperature increases, they're underestimates. Microscopic life like this reproduces rapidly, so the area affected increases rapidly. Algae are basically painting ice a darker color and changing the albedo of the Earth which makes the planet absorb more heat faster...

This will culminate, at least for us, with the human race going extinct, at which point everybody will be pushing daisies. Can't get much greener than that!

According to The Los Angeles Times, which is compiling its own coronavirus tally for the state, the number of Californians hospitalized due to the disease has broken records for 18 consecutive days. The number of people in ICUs because of COVID-19 continues to set records as well, the newspaper said, with 14 straight days of increases."

Quote: "Newsom said the state has 60 refrigerated units, each 53 feet long, available if needed. He also said that 5,000 body bags were distributed to some of the hardest-hit counties, including Los Angeles, San Diego and Inyo counties."

2020-12-18 - Analysis of the methane threat:
http://www.citywatchla.com/index.php/cw/los-angeles/20927-menacing-methane-an-analysis

Quote: "Areas where naked hydrates are melting show methane measurements so extensive that a ship randomly sailing by, if it created a spark or dropped a cigarette overboard, would blow up. 'This is truly a frightening circumstance of huge amounts of methane released from the seabed coming up to the sea surface where it is released into the atmosphere.'"

Quote: "We know that something has been going on in the last few years because if we look at the amount of methane in the atmosphere, it rose steadily from the 1980s and then it reached a peak in the year 2000...since 2007, an increase once again, and it’s been going up ever since in an accelerating way."

Quote: "Emergency plans should be formulated by nation/states and especially by coastal cities because a 'big burst' could happen at any time. Estimates are within the next few years. Certainly, the underwater permafrost is thinning. Russian scientists measure it. "

Note: So a 50-gigaton methane release could happen at any time. 'Next few years' is a guess. It might not happen for 10 years, or it could happen tomorrow. Already methane is bubbling up into the atmosphere from the ocean along a large stretch of the East Siberian Arctic Shelf and before that methane began exploding out of the ground and creating gigantic craters in the landscape in Siberia. Those are pretty big indicators that a major methane release is increasingly imminent. And that first 50-gigaton methane release will be just the beginning...

Note: They ask, murder or suicide? She was next to a pond. Maybe her clothing had absorbed some methane and/or hydrogen sulfide and her clothes sparked the fire via static electricity. That wouldn't be murder OR suicide. That'd just be someone bursting into flame and burning to death...

Quote: "Two school janitors reported missing in Dublin were found in medical distress in a campus library amid a mystery chemical smell, with one dying at the scene and the second taken to a hospital, police reported Wednesday."

Quote: "A search of the campus resulted in the discovery of the workers, a 29-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man, both in the library and suffering from an unknown medical issue. Officers detected an unknown chemical smell, and both janitors were carried out of the library and into the open air school courtyard, police said."

Quote: "The Alameda County Fire Department and the department’s Hazardous Materials Unit were summoned but no hazardous chemicals or material were found in the building or at the school, police said."

Note: With a decent breeze, it'd take about half an hour for a cloud of poison gas to blow in off the ocean and hit this school then get sucked in via the HVAC system...
