Event Update For 2017-12-26

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2017-12-26 - Sulfur odor blows in off the ocean and hits the coast in and around Manhattan Beach (California):

Quote: "Two days before Christmas reports of a natural gas leak spread throughout the South Bay. Calls went out to 911 emergency services in El Segundo, Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach."

Quote: "Professors Doug Capone, PhD, and Jed Fuhrman, PhD, said what people might be smelling is hydrogen sulfide associated with several possible sources such as oil seeps or rotting seaweed."

Note: I'm sure that IS what it was. And as time goes on, these 'odor events' are happening more frequently as the ocean warms and as life dies off in the ocean and as the ocean becomes more polluted and landfill-like. The concentration will rise over time as well. Heck, you might see California start getting hit by monstrous wildfires too, since hydrogen sulfide is extremely flammable. Oh right, California is being hit by monstrous wildfires now. Eventually entire towns will start going up in flames and entire towns of people will start dropping dead, or having 'medical events', or going insane from brain damage, etc. That's just a matter of time now. These increasingly common 'odor events' are harbingers of much worse things to come...

2017-12-26 - Hydrogen sulfide leaks from floor drain at business in Iron Mountain (Michigan):

Quote: "Iron Mountain firefighters were called at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday to investigate a possible natural gas odor at a business on the 1400 block of South Stephenson Avenue. They determined the odor was sewer gas coming from a floor drain and there was no problem, so they returned to the station at 4:40 p.m."

Note: 'Just poison gas spewing from the drain, folks, no problem. We'll be, uhhh, way far away from here if someone dies or you need us for a medical emergency!'

The Washington Post Ominously Warns That Bitcoin Is Being Used By ‘Extremist Groups’

Demonization is the first step toward making something illegal.  Over the past couple of months, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have experienced a tremendous surge in popularity.  Personally, I was completely floored the other day when my nephew wanted to ask me questions about investing in Bitcoin.  It seems like the whole world is getting caught up in the cryptocurrency revolution, and needless to say, the powers that be cannot be thrilled about this.  Independently-controlled cryptocurrencies represent an existential threat to the global debt-based central banking system that we have today, and so the elite have a very strong incentive to bring about the demise of Bitcoin and other emerging cryptocurrencies. Individual investors in US private prisons are poised to collect their most lucrative earnings ever thanks to changes in the tax code signed by Donald Trump, continuing what has been a banner year for the industry since the 2016 election.
“It’s going to be great for the investors, banks and hedge funds that own shares in private prisons, and are dependent on increased incarceration and criminalization,” said Jamie Trinkle, campaign and research coordinator with the racial and economic justice coalition Enlace.

The other day I was in a shopping mall looking for an ATM to get some cash. There was no ATM. A week ago, there was still a branch office of a local bank - no more, gone. A Starbucks will replace the space left empty by the bank. I asked around - there will be no more cash automats in this mall - and this pattern is repeated over and over throughout Switzerland and throughout western Europe. Cash machines gradually but ever so faster disappear, not only from shopping malls, also from street corners. Will Switzerland become the first country fully running on digital money? [more]

Snowden's new app turns your phone into a portable security system

Your digital security, any sufficiently paranoid person will remind you, is only as good as your physical security. The world's most sensitive users of technology, like dissidents, activists, or journalists in repressive regimes, have to fear not just hacking and online surveillance, but the reality that police, intelligence agents, or other intruders can simply break into your home, office, or hotel room. They can tamper with your computers, steal them, or bodily detain you until you cough up passwords or other secrets.

To help combat that threat, one of the world's most well-known activists against digital surveillance has released what's intended to be a cheap, mobile, and flexible version of a physical security system. On Friday, the Freedom of the Press Foundation and its president, famed NSA leaker Edward Snowden, launched Haven, an app designed to transform any Android phone into a kind of all-purpose sensor for detecting intrusions.
