Event Update For 2017-12-08

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2017-12-08 - Unknown chemical odor sickens students at school on River Park Drive in Riverside (Missouri), 1 mile from the Missouri River:

Quote: "School leaders at Park Hill South High School, 4500 River Park Dr., decided to dismiss early Friday after a mysterious odor forced students and staff out of their classrooms and into the commons area."

Quote: "Six students who didn’t feel well from the chemical odor went home even before dismissal."

2017-12-08 - Foul odor hitting area on coastal St. Simons Island (Georgia):

Quote: "Residents of St. Simons Island have been complaining of foul odors around a major intersection. Utility officials point the finger at gases building up in the sewer pipes and leaking through a manhole in the road."

Quote: "Commission deputy director Andrew Burroughs says a high concentration of sulfides in the wastewater system is one of several possible causes for the strong odors. He says chemicals could be used to mask the smell or eliminate its source."

Note: That's almost certainly hydrogen sulfide. What else could it be? And masking the odor won't make it less poisonous, so that's no solution. The fact that it doesn't smell 'sweet' is good, since it must be low in concentration. The problem is that it's a heavier-than-air gas so it'll concentrate in ditches and basements or whatnot and then it could form lethal clouds of gas that then blow around and randomly strike people dead here and there. Even at low concentrations, it's not ideal, since nobody anywhere knows what regularly breathing even low concentrations of hydrogen sulfide does to people, but the effects surely aren't benign...

Portrait of Hillary Clinton briefly shuts down Art Miami tent due to security dog reaction

[yeah there was a Trump portrait too]

two dogs reacted to the crate during a pre-show check shortly after 8 a.m., prompting organizers to clear the site. Both the Art Miami tent and a tent for Context, connected by a tunnel, were closed off. The package was then searched and the painting of the former Democratic presidential candidate was found inside.

Police officers ran the 16 inch by 20 inch acrylic-on-wood artwork through an X-ray machine, which turned up no suspicious material.

Gallery owner Ken Hashimoto said police still were unsure Saturday morning what about the art had caused the dogs to react.

    Generation Madoff

The new "capitalism" consists of gamblers bidding up their own assets while lying constantly. This Sunday, the CBOE will begin offering futures on a Ponzi scheme. What else? Meanwhile, a combination of the tax cut rotation, higher interest rates, accelerating Fed rolloff, and the Bitcoin rotation have robbed the casino of liquidity, as mega cap tech goes bidless...

On another note as I've written lately, Big Cap Tech lost its bid this past week, as gamblers rotated out of the growth trade into the Trump tax cut trade. Since that rotation took place starting last Wednesday (Nov. 29th), market liquidity has fallen off a cliff. Nearly 500 000 people were left without power and three have died as a suprisingly strong early winter storm hit the US South on its way toward the Northeast. The storm dumped rare snow on the Deep South, in many places record-breaking for December. Relatively quiet weather is expected across much of the country today as the storm continues to pull away from the Northeast Sunday morning. There is a chance for light snow showers in the Northeast today and tonight but the greatest snowfall accumulations are expected east of lakes Erie and Ontario due to lake effect snow. [more]

Regarding temperatures, the East Coast will be 5 - 15 degrees F (2.8 - 8.3 °C) below average today with some moderation on Monday. Most of the Plains will be 10 to 25 degrees F (5.5 to 14 °C) above average today and Monday with westerly to northwesterly downslope winds at the surface.

Winds will also be gusty at times, especially on Monday after the passage of a cold front tied to the aforementioned clipper system. These winds will also generate dry conditions leading to an elevated risk for wildfires extending throughout parts of the southern and central High Plains through Monday. [more]

Growth At All Costs. The Bill Is Due.

Stock market valuations mean nothing. Until the end of the cycle, when they mean everything...

. Despite the "fantastic" economy, the deficit is growing again. Of course, it never occurs to Generation Madoff that the only reason the economy is growing is because the deficit is growing faster. For all of FY2017 (ending September), the Federal deficit was -3.5% of GDP or almost TWICE the GDP growth rate.
