Event Update For 2017-12-15

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2017-12-15 - Unknown 'gas odor' hits widespread area, including Folsom, El Dorado Hills and Rancho Cordova (California), near Folsom Lake:

Quote: "Do you smell an odor of gas in your neighborhood? Several areas in and around Rancho Cordova and Folsom are plagued with an odor Friday, according to reports. Metro Fire officials said they have received calls about the smell of gas from various locations from Bradshaw Road in Rancho Cordova to Bass Lake Road in El Dorado Hills."

Quote: "PG&E has responded to 100 calls of the odor, but officials have determined that there are no apparent issues with any lines, crews said."

Quote: "The smell covered a 20-mile radius from Rosemont to Bass Lake and eventually into Folsom."

Quote: "'At this point we’re confident that there is no hazard, there’s no danger to the public (and) that the source is not in the area,' Vestal said."

Note: Confident that there's no hazard or danger to the public when the gas hasn't even been identified? It's probably just some poison gas blowing in off the ocean or oozing up from the ground and settling in this area. Nothing to worry about, unless you're one of those wanna-stay-alive types. Also, hydrogen sulfide and methane blowing in off the ocean will cause and/or exacerbate fires. Have there been any big fires in California lately? Oh yeah, and the 4th biggest fire in California history is still burning too, right along the coast. Last I checked, fires can be a hazard and a danger to the public. Ask all the dead people from the deadliest fires in California's history this year...

2017-12-15 - Unknown 'gas odor' continues hitting Canton and Stark County (Ohio):

Quote: "Canton City health department officials are trying to determine the source of an odor reported by nearly a dozen residents Friday morning. Terri Dzienis, administrator of Air Pollution Control at the Canton Health Department, and Linda Morckel, monitoring and inspections supervisor, were meeting about 10:30 a.m. to address the issue after the health department began receiving reports. Initially, they had heard reports of a natural gas odor in the city over the last few days, but the health department had not received any complaints until Friday morning. Reports of the smell also came in from as far away as North Canton and Jackson Township."

Quote: "Dominion Energy said it got more than 100 calls about a natural gas smell. Crews investigated, but could not find a smell or cause."

2017-12-15 - Man, 65, dies then collapses into fire pit at homeless camp in coastal Neptune (New Jersey):

Quote: "'He was dead before he burned,' he said, assuming the man suffered a sudden, acute problem before tumbling into the fire pit."

Note: So some hydrogen sulfide blows through, adsorbs into wood and other adsorbent matter (cardboard, paper, clothes, etc). Then when that wood or whatever is burned, breathing the smoke may cause immediate unconsciousness or death. If you're standing near a fire pit then into the fire you may go and then they find a charred corpse. It's basically the same scenario as the various firefighters who've had 'medical events' or dropped dead at the scene of fires. The easiest way to tell if smoke is lethal nowadays is to breathe some. If you don't have a seizure or 'medical event' or drop dead then the smoke was okay, or at least non-lethal. Dying instantaneously like this man did is called the 'Slaughterhouse Sledgehammer Effect', where you're dead before your body hits the ground. Deadly poisons that cause instantaneous deaths like this are called 'knockdown agents'. Hydrogen sulfide is one of them...

There were reports of collapsed buildings and authorities issued a tsunami warning for parts of Java's coastline after the quake struck. People ran out of buildings in panic in many areas and Indonesian television showed heavy traffic on roads as people left coastal areas. 1. British MP's 28 year old daughter dies suddenly. Police do not suspect foul play.

Man bursts into flames on London street and dies. Cops are baffled.

  2. Hah, yeah, they're gonna be 'baffled' more and more often as time goes on, because reality is changing but their perception of reality isn't, so they're drifting farther and farther away from reality. One definition of insanity is the inability to accept reality. How insane will they get? How far away from reality will they drift before reality comes crashing down on them? We'll find out!

  3. Mornin' guys! I posted that old guy bursting into flame the other day and thought Jonny would comment on it. Since so many people are dropping dead (and more and more people burst into flame while doing ordinary things like burning leaves or cooking) it's really not much of a big deal anymore.

California winds fuel state's third-largest wildfire

Strong winds that have powered the third-largest wildfire in California's history were expected on Sunday to further fuel a blaze that has burned 267,500 acres.

Nearly 8,500 firefighters are battling the so-called Thomas Fire in Southern California, which began Dec. 4 and has destroyed more than 1,000 structures and threatened 18,000 more, including homes in the wealthy town of Montecito just outside the coastal city of Santa Barbara.

The fire is now 40 percent contained despite hot Santa Ana winds that have powered its expansion, at times sending embers far ahead of its main flank.

Firefighters were employing more than 970 fire engines and 34 helicopters to battle the blaze. [more]

    1. What sent me to the UK's Daily Star was the story about the politician's young daughter who dropped dead. There was a link to the burning man and it looked like it happened very recently. In fact the byline on the story was dated Dec. 15th. But now I noticed that it did say it happened in Sep. I guess this article was a follow up to confirm that the po-po have no phuggin clue why he burned up.

  4. Heh, that guy burning was from September, and I mentioned it then, in the 2017-09-21 update:

Not ignoring yas or overlooking it - it definitely was an event worth mentioning and commenting on!

  5. It's also mentioned in the September Spotlight Stories, and in the 2017 Charred Corpses. I was on it! Doesn't take me nigh THREE MONTHS to notice something like that and point it out.

But yeah, look at it: guy just walking down the street went up in flames and burned to death. Burned so bad his internal organs were burned. No gasoline or anything involved. It had to be methane or hydrogen sulfide that got into his clothes, and it all burned up in the fire, leaving no residual trace, just a charred corpse and some ashes, thus no accelerants being found.

He wasn't doing anything oddball either - just a normal guy doing his normal routine, walking his regular route at the regular time. That could be anybody next time. One second life is normal, the next second you're on fire and soon to be numbered among the dead.

  6. Sobering thought for sure Jonny, I think we all see the big picture here. Enjoy the time one has left and live fully in the moment.

  7. Actually, in regards to accelerants, both hydrogen sulfide and methane are such. But if they're using dogs to sniff for accelerants then dogs can't smell methane, so they can't be trained to detect it, and while dogs surely CAN smell hydrogen sulfide, they almost definitely haven't been trained to do so, since that could kill them. So regardless, if they use accelerant-sniffing dogs, and there IS some residual trace left, it'll still show as no accelerants. And odds are, in fires like the one that killed that man, it's all gonna burn off anyway.

  8. Another aspect Jonny points out is how quickly H2S evaporates (or dissipates) in bodies, so that forensic people have a hard time finding a cause of death, and then pinning it on "natural causes" (which it is, actually, but their reports are 'inconclusive').

Geez, I didn't mean to stir up all these comments from the one story. Got some good discussion going and all the regular commenters chiming in, though! So YAY 🙌! Fran keeping it real!

Researchers identify new mechanism that helps explain why meteors explode in the atmosphere

According to the paper, as a meteoroid hurtles through Earth's atmosphere, high-pressure air in the front of the object infiltrates cracks and pores in the rock, which generates a great deal of internal pressure. This pressure is so great that it causes the object to effectively blow up from the inside out, even if the material in the meteoroid is strong enough to resist the intense external atmospheric pressures. The Fool Or The One Who Follows?

It's highly appropriate that on the anniversary week of the 2008 Madoff Moment, that this dumbfuck society now places its full faith and credit in Ponzi schemes. The all-knowing Idiocracy strikes again. The society that knows everything by knowing nothing.

Herein lies the problem for BitCon, and the johnny-come-latelys throwing their life savings down the shit hole:

Almost ALL of the % percentage gains from Bitcoin took place in the period prior to this latest melt-up. Whereas 2/3rds of the market cap gains took place in the last four weeks.

A true Ponzi scheme visualized [see chart]

Now let's say for the sake of argument that BitCon doesn't go to infinity, but instead retests the 50 day for the sixth time this year. That would imply a -50% retracement and wipe out ~$165 billion in market cap. Meaning that all of the people who just put their life savings into BitCon would be wiped out.

And suffice to say the 15x leveraged [Japan] margin calls would begin much sooner than that "routine" level of retracement. [more]
