Event Update For 2015-05-16

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2015-05-16 - Bellandur Lake bursts into flame in the wee hours in Bengaluru (India):

Quote: "Never did the people of Bengaluru imagine that they would see a day when their lakes would be on fire. While the lakes in the city are under a constant threat due to encroachment, the Bellandur lake on Friday night was seen to be on fire."

Quote: "Utterly puzzled by the phenomena Siddaramaiah, Regional Officer (Bommanahalli division) of the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB), said this was the first time in the city that froth or debris on top of the lake was reported to have instantaneously combusted."

Quote: "There is a layer of oil and froth in the lake due to the discharge of effluents from nearby industries. This has led to the accumulation of methane gas, which is very combustible. We believe that it is the methane which caught fire..."

Note: The Meiyu Rver caught fire in coastal Wenzhou (China) too, mentioned in the 2014-03-08 update. And of course lots of people have reported flammable tapwater in recent years due to methane contaminating their water supply. I knew when we saw that river on fire in China that we'd be seeing more instances of bodies of water igniting. Here we go. There's a huge methane clathrate deposit dissociating off the US East Coast (and others elsewhere around the world). Could the OCEANS ignite? It seems quite possible, and if that happens then those fires may be unextinguishable for decades or hundreds of years or more...

2015-05-16 - Van, two SUVs and nine cars go up in flames at 2 AM while parked in gated lot in Aurora (Illinois):

Note: They say arson but A) they haven't eliminated accidental causes, as competent investigators would; and B) they don't mention any evidence of arson. Saying something is arson doesn't make it arson. It sounds like they're just assuming arson because they were parked vehicles, and if that's the case then they're oblivious to the world around them and have completely overlooked the thousands of other incidents where vehicles have spontaneously ignited in recent times, especially in the wee hours...

  1. Now THAT'S what i'm talkin' about - a freaking LAKE on fire! Yeah, there's run-off on the surface that may be flammable (and has been for years), but NOW it's BURNING! Something had to be the catalyst, and methane certainly fits the bill (probably along with a little 'pop' of H2S that seems to hang around with it).

Quasars are typically separated by vast distances, and the discovery of this "quasar quartet" has been characterized as either a one-in-10-million coincidence or evidence that ideas about quasars need to be revised.
