Event Update For 2015-01-29

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. Pallets and tar paper and big pile of tire wire bursts into flames, not to mention the two vehicles parked on the same street going up in smoke at the same time - wtf?

As in India, no authorities are explaining any of it!

In the past few days an awful lot of people are dropping dead, too.

Only Jonny tells it like it is.

i wonder what Edison NJ is going to do without snow removal equipment now that the snow season has arrived in earnest?

    Here's a few i noticed:

    [from, Earth Changes]

Rare Sierra Nevada red fox spotted for the first time since 1916

"There hasn't been a verified sighting of the Sierra Nevada red fox inside Yosemite National Park since 1916, said Ben Sacks, director of the University of California, Davis Veterinary School's Mammalian Ecology and Conservation Unit."

    [from the Society's Child section]

Russian library housing unique documents, ancient texts devastated by fire

"One of Russia's largest academic libraries, which contains millions of unique historic documents, has gone up in flames in Moscow. A part of the building's roof collapsed before dozens of fire fighters managed to contain the blaze.

The fire erupted at around 10 pm local time (7 pm GMT) on the third floor of the Academic Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences (INION) in Moscow. According to the Emergency Situations Ministry, some 2,000 square meters were engulfed in flames, prompting the roof to cave in.

According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire could be a malfunction of the electrical system, a law-enforcement source told RIA Novosti news agency. "A short circuit in the electrical system is currently being regarded as a primary lead," he said Saturday."

In this next one, the official explanation is too hard to believe:

Delta Plane Makes Emergency Landing After Pilot Locked Out of Cockpit

A Delta Air Lines flight heading from Minneapolis to Las Vegas was forced to make an emergency landing today after the pilot was locked out of the cockpit, airport officials said.

The cockpit door malfunctioned, locking the pilot out of the cockpit, airport officials told KTNV, noting that the first officer made the landing.

The captain explained to the passengers that the door was jammed and he couldn't get back in, Dougherty said, adding: "It was very, very bizarre."

[and, now - the OFFICIAL EXPLANATION of a heavy metal door being "jammed"]

The source of the jammed door was a piece of string that was found near the door by the maintenance crew, passenger Jonathan Thalacker told ABC News.

[get tfoh - that's complete BULLSHIT!]

  2. Uh oh, now the terr'rists are gonna exploit the string weakness! 'He's got a string! Swarm, swarm!'

  3. breaking news: from

DERAILMENT: Today 11 cars from a Bakken Shale oil train derailed in South Philadelphia. The Protecting Our Waters coverage links to ABC coverage; to last year's derailment, and an action alert insisting that our demand to stop the bomb trains not "split" us from opposing pipelines and barges. All three methods are viciously destructive towards climate, waterways, health and safety:

Breaking: Today the second major oil “bomb train” derailment occurred in Philadelphia, risking residents’ lives, endangering drivers on one of the nation’s busiest highways, I-95, and putting waterways at risk. One year and eleven days ago, early on Martin Luther King Day 2014, seven cars carrying Bakken Shale crude derailed over the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia in a “near miss from disaster.” That derailment put the entire University of Pennsylvania medical complex, the Schuylkill Expressway, the Veterans Administration, Children’s Hospital, and other major institutions at risk, along with a chunk of Philadelphia’s residential population too big to safely evacuate.

Both accidents were predictable, preventable, and a near miss from potentially catastrophic impacts. There must be no third derailment. That no rupture occurred is extremely lucky. We can’t leave prevention to luck.

[here's the link to ABC news coverage]

  4. In the same message from POW, above:

WEST VIRGINIA: New Ethane Pipeline Ruptured into Fireball

In the painful news department, the ethane pipeline that ruptured into a fireball in West Virginia turns out to be just 15 months old. See the Intelligencer of Wheeling, West Virginia: Ethane Pipeline Blast Creates Fireball. In a logical world this would put to rest the industry's endlessly repeated claim that newer pipelines are safe.

In a logical world we wouldn't be fracking for ethane (think: plastic bags, plastic bottles) in Pennsylvania's shalefields to begin with. But note: SUNY New Paltz is right now in the act of banning plastic water bottle sales on campus, and plastic bag bans are increasing. We aren't reducing plastic waste fast enough -- speed it up! Ban the bag! And prepare to fight ethane exports to Norway from the Delaware River via 300 miles of ethane pipelines being built by Sunoco Logistics. The Mariner East pipelines are part of the same system, emanating from MarkWest fracked gas refinery in western Pennsylvania, as the pipeline that just ruptured. Don't fancy a fracking fireball in your backyard so that Norway can have ethane? Stop Sunoco Logistics' Mariner East Pipelines!
