Event Update For 2014-08-23

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Quote: "She said: 'It was just a void industrial unit with some pallet storage that had caught alight, we believe it was arson. When we got there it was well alight.'"

Note: Why would they suspect arson? Oh right, they're ignorant of the problem and not observant enough to have noticed that pallets and pallet yards and pallet companies have been going up in flames all over the place for some time now. Their derp emissions are so high there that my derpdar is picking them up from eight thousand miles away...

By the time firefighters got to the home on Clemens Drive, they realized the fire actually started in a car parked under the back deck."

Quote: "The homeowners told fire officials they barely used the car and just kept it parked in the back."

Note: It's always nice to have a randomly-igniting firebomb parked right next to your home - keeps you on your toes. Also helps the construction industry when your home burns up and has to be rebuilt. And sometimes, when people die, the coffin-makers and morticians get some extra business. Win-win!

This home is about 300 feet from the shore of  Lake Memphremagog. Right on the shore of a lake, wee hours, another parked vehicle igniting. This is happening all the time now, even if these sleepy fire investigators remain oblivious to that fact. Note: Rising water temps, gigantic and growing landfill in the ocean in the Pacific - the environment is rapidly becoming very hospitable for the ancient anaerobic bacteria and archaea that produce deadly hydrogen sulfide. We should start seeing the Pacific Ocean dying off hard anytime. Oh, it already is, and has been for years...

  1. Jonny - you mentioned EQ lights yesterday in the comments. My brother - noted clathrate gun skeptic - who lives in Santa Rosa, told me he saw multiple blue-white flashes of light in the sky immediately post-EQ. And you're telling me that might be methane? Holy cow.

    1. Blue-white flashes in the sky? Yeah, not sure what else that could have been. Methane and other gases burped up from Santa Monica Bay (2013-03-03 update). And methane was found in the ground around 19 homes in Santa Maria in California (2013-01-18 update). There are methane deposits all up and down the coast there.

  2. Hey Jonny: every day, more proof that we've gone too far and triggered too many self-reinforcing feedbacks that interact and influence each other. One among these many is methane seeping from all over the formerly frozen permafrost, warming lakes and seas, and even in the boreal forests, which, like the Brazilian rainforest - is now a SOURCE of CO2 (and methane) instead of soaking it up (due to the on-going drought there). We haven't even discussed the continuing radiation coming from Fukushima (and all the other nuke plants, cooling pools, used weapons and medical applications that will also be emitting this deadly stuff once the electrical grid fails). We're in deep shit!

Here's a sign of the times that we'll be seeing more of here in the U.S. as time goes on:

    1. 'Qatar: The Detroit Of The Middle East!'

Once upon a time, that would even have been a compliment!

Sad about the rainforests. When I was a kid, a friend of mine basically hitch-hiked his way from one end of the Amazon River to the other. He said it was an incredible journey, took several months. So that was always my 'escape hatch' plan too: if the world got crazy enough, I'd just move to the rainforest and live a nice simple life, eat a lot of fish, try not to get eaten by anything else. Looks like the rainforest isn't gonna be around for a lot longer now though and it's definitely not what it once was.

  3. Yeah, the tribes that never have been contacted are now coming out and saying they can't do it any more. Loggers, farming, and the drought has killed off the whole ecosystem in places - it's dying just like the oceans.
