Event Update For 2014-08-03

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Fires And Explosions

2014-08-03 - Petroleum plant explodes and burns in Norco (Louisiana), right next to the Mississippi River:

Quote: "An explosion led to a fire Sunday night (Aug. 3) at the Diamond Green Diesel facility in Norco, according to the St. Charles Parish Emergency Operations Center. Although the blast rattled windows in Destrehan about 10 miles away, no injuries were reported, according to a statement from the center, and the public is not expected to take safety precautions."

Also, 900th Day Anniversary - whew!

2014-08-03 - Home damaged by aerosol explosion in coastal Drogheda (Ireland), 4 injured:

Quote: "The explosion is understood to have caused extensive internal structural damage to the house."

Note: They say this was caused by a can of aerosol exploding. Did they check to see if there was any methane and/or hydrogen sulfide blowing through there? Nope, so there may have been. EXTENSIVE damage to the house - that doesn't sound like it was JUST a can of aerosol exploding, so I'd bet there was some other factor here, like some accumulated (and completely odorless) methane. If one can of aerosol could do this much damage then Timothy McVeigh would have used a backpack of aerosol cans instead of a TRUCKLOAD of fertilizer...

2014-08-03 - Butane lighter explodes as man refills at at home in Boulder (Colorado), 1 injured:

Note: Santa Monica Bay experienced a 'naturally occurring methane release' in 2013, as mentioned in the 2013-03-03 update, where people called in to report a bad smell. The smell wasn't methane, since methane is odorless. The smell was probably hydrogen sulfide and the 'naturally occurring event' was the chemocline abruptly rising to the surface and releasing methane and hydrogen sulfide that had accumulated at the bottom of the bay into the atmosphere...

2014-08-03 - Underground electrical fire erupts in sewer at 4:30 AM in London (Canada), part of the city goes dark for 8 hours:

Note: Fire in the sewer system? Sounds similar to the massive explosions and fires that hit the sewer system the other day in Kaohsiung (Taiwan), mentioned in the 2014-07-31 update...

  1. After reading this site for a while now, i'm starting to think that somebody, most probably banks, are benefitting from all the vacant structure fires. They're probably still insured by the banks that underwrote the mortgages on these buildings, so they may be getting a pay day for each of these burdens on their balance sheets.
Yet another (unsavory) source of income for the "struggling" banks.

That new article about all the dead birds found around Lancaster PA was a wake-up call around here! We're closer to there than to Philly, so i'll keep an eye out around here now.

You want an event that will instantaneously raise the global sea level by between 10 and 13 feet? Check this video out:

[listen especially from about 10:15 on]

Meanwhile, up North we have methane levels increasing astonishingly:

Warm waters threaten to trigger huge methane eruptions from Arctic Ocean seafloor

The evidence of abrupt high methane releases in the Arctic Ocean is accumulating.

    1. Good video! I think they're overlooking the warming caused by all the volcanic eruptions, from BELOW, but in any case, warming waters - however it happens - is a huge problem. Didn't know about that giant ice shelf hanging over out there. 10 to 13 feet sea level rise virtually overnight? Nuclear plants would start blowing their wads everywhere.
