Event Update For 2014-08-13

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Fires And Explosions

2014-08-13 - Underground electrical explosions and fires rock Indianapolis (Indiana):

Quote: "'It was just boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, and then they cleared the entire block,' Mark Neyland, an operations manager for the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority, told The Indianapolis Star. The agency has its offices near the site of the explosions."

Quote: "Massive underground explosions. Flying manhole covers. Flames shooting 25 feet into the air. What is causing all the blasts that have rattled windows in the Statehouse, shaken stores along Massachusetts Avenue and caused the evacuation of Downtown office buildings? At least five huge blasts in the past 16 months -- including one last month outside Gov. Mitch Daniels' office at the Statehouse -- have put pressure on authorities to get to the bottom of things."

Note: This fire is much like a smaller-scale version of the mammoth underground explosions and fires that just devastated the city of Kaohsiung on the island of Taiwan, which killed dozens and injured hundreds, mentioned in the 2014-07-31 update. Hydrogen sulfide is explosively flammable, much more than methane or natural gas, it is reactive with rusty iron/steel and copper, especially electrified copper, both commonly found in underground electrical infrastructure, and it is a heavier-than-air gas which will naturally seek out low-lying areas and accumulate until fires or explosions occur. Methane oozing from the ground may also contribute to these fires and explosions, if it gets trapped below ground, or if it contaminates water, as with the rising number of people finding that their tapwater is now flammable over the past few years...

2014-08-13 - Three people found dead in mobile home, small fire present, in Harris County (Texas):

Quote: "Officials called to the scene suspect a small fire smoldered inside the trailer, releasing clouds of poisonous carbon monoxide gas. The fire was found in a back bedroom, Bessolo said."

Note: So some hydrogen sulfide blows through, knocks people unconscious, starts a small fire. The small fire emits carbon monoxide and, since the people are unconscious, they don't put out the fire or open a window or leave. They just lay there until they're dead. This event is much like the young engaged couple who burned to death in their SUV in McFarland (Wisconsin), mentioned in the 2013-01-01 update - they didn't exit the car when it ignited, because they must have been unconscious, so they just laid there and burned to death. A lot of deaths in cars and homes in the last couple of years have undoubtedly happened in this way. There's really no telling when you'll be knocked unconscious (or dead) and have your home ignite, but it's most likely to happen in the wee hours and it's more likely to happen if you live in, near or downwind of a low-lying area...

The boat was traveling passing Scituate on its way from Provincetown to Boston when it was hit. The wave was so large it smashed several windows and bent one of the outdoor benches for passengers. Crew member Jason Corinha said the wave was about 20 feet tall, four times bigger than most waves on Wednesday."

Note: When a big methane bubble hits the surface after bubbling up from the ocean floor, large waves may be a consequence. They will hit unexpectedly, without warning. There have been a lot - and I mean a lot - of boats capsizing lately. The seafloor is littered with craters from methane eruptions from times past...

The five wolves, thought to have been enticed by the scent of the sheep kept by the villagers, stole into the village of Kalazhuole at 2am. Their low howling woke the inhabitants, who rushed out to protect the flock but found themselves confronting a pack too hungry to be easily deterred."

    Rogue wave!

When I was visiting Hawaii back in the early 90's I found myself one day on the North Shore, guest of a photographer acquaintance from a surfer magazine, looking out at a typical days' mountainous 40 ft waves breaking and the pros ridin' them in.

I was up to my ankles staring at these behemoths with their stupendous arcing crash and churn when all of a sudden, right in front of me an 8' "shore break" wave formed right before me, out of the foam, leaving me no time to react, and swept me up then bashing me into the sand and rolling me up the beach about 10 feet, like a piece of driftwood, before I got up to the laughter of the life guard who watched the entire event.

He asked,"didn't you see the 'watch your children' sign?" I was staggering up to him, now wiser to what it meant, when he inquired, still laughing, if I was alright and telling me that you had to have a pro surfer card (including the photographers) to even get in the water. Man, what an experience.
