Event Update For 2019-04-07

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2019-04-07 - Sewer gas odor reported in area in Peru (Illinois):
http://www.newstrib.com/free/strong-sewer-gas-odor-reported/article_3375c010-59a1-11e9-a7ac-4f89633ade8e.html

Quote: "Peru emergency crews were called at 8:50 p.m. Sunday for an odor investigation in the vicinity of Venture Drive and northern Peoria Street and reported a strong sewer-gas odor behind two of the large stores south of that intersection."

Note: There are two sewer gases. One is methane, which is odorless. The other has an odor, so that had to be what they smelled. That's hydrogen sulfide...

Quote: "Police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu told HeraldLIVE that the deaths of Stanvliet and Trichardt happened a mere 10 minutes apart, adding that both competitors were confirmed dead when they arrived at the hospital."

Note: Hydrogen sulfide is water-soluble and can cause both heart attacks and seizures, often of the fatal variety. The best way to test water is to douse your head with it. If you don't have a heart attack or seizure and die then the water you got on your head was okay!

ANOTHER “Bomb Cyclone” Will Bring More Flooding To Parts Of The Midwest That Were Hit By A “1,000 Year Flood” Last Month
    http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/another-bomb-cyclone-is-going-to-bring-more-flooding-to-parts-of-the-midwest-that-were-hit-by-a-1000-year-flood-last-month

Less than a month after a “bomb cyclone” caused a “1,000 year flood” in the middle portion of the country, another “bomb cyclone” of similar strength is going to bring even more flooding to the High Plains and Upper Midwest. According to meteorologists, it is being projected that this new “bomb cyclone” will be “similar in intensity and in snowfall” to the last one, and the latest forecast is calling for “more than 30 inches in some areas”. The floods that we witnessed last month absolutely devastated communities throughout the region, and now it is going to happen again. The middle part of our nation has literally never seen anything like this happen ever before, and this is easily the worst natural disaster to hit the United States since Hurricane Katrina. [more]

Melting glaciers contribute a third of sea-level rise
    http://www.fasterthanexpected.com/2019/04/08/melting-glaciers-contribute-a-third-of-sea-level-rise/

new research published in Nature quantifies how much the world’s lost glaciers have contributed to rising sea levels.

Glaciers have lost more than 9 trillion tons (that is 9,625,000,000,000 tons) of ice between 1961 and 2016, which has resulted in global sea levels rising by 27 millimeters in this period. The largest contributors were glaciers in Alaska, followed by the melting ice fields in Patagonia and glaciers in the Arctic regions. Glaciers in the European Alps, the Caucasus and New Zealand were also subject to significant ice loss; however, due to their relatively small glacierized areas, they played only a minor role when it comes to the rising global sea levels. Discovered in 2012 by Yale University students, Pestalotiopsis microspora is a rare species of mushroom from the Amazon rainforest that's capable of subsisting on a diet of pure plastic, or more accurately, the main ingredient in plastic - polyurethane-before converting the human-made ingredient into purely organic matter.

And not only can Pestalotiopsis microspora live off of our plastic waste, it can also live without oxygen-meaning that the rare breed of mushroom would make an ideal agent for landfill clean-up, literally from the bottom-up. [more]

New state of matter: Elements can be solid and liquid at same time

Applying high pressures and temperatures to potassium - a simple metal - creates a state in which most of the element's atoms form a solid lattice structure, the findings show.

However, the structure also contains a second set of potassium atoms that are in a fluid arrangement. [more]

On the eve of the great psychedelic debate

In 2010 and 2015, two different teams of scientists (one of which had forty members) met to carry out a "multi-criteria decision analysis" to rank the most common drugs by the harm their consumption causes to users and those around them. The reports called on the scientists to consider the harmfulness of drugs across sixteen different measurements, including mortality due to toxicity, mortality due to injury, drug specific bodily damage, drug-related bodily damage, degree of addictiveness, mental impairment due to intoxication, mental impairment due to secondary causes related to drug, effects on tangible life outcomes (e.g. job losses, academic achievement), and loss of personal relationships due to drug use. Both teams of scientists came up with almost identical findings: psychedelic drugs are some of the least harmful drugs used in society, considerably less harmful than even cannabis, with magic mushrooms given the lowest harm ranking of all drugs. On the other side of the spectrum the 2015 multi-criteria analysis concludes, "The evidence clearly confirms that alcohol should be considered to be the most harmful of all drugs"5 (explaining why alcohol is considered so harmful would require a separate article).
