Event Update For 2018-02-28

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Note: Definitely connected by timeframe, geographic area, proximity to the coast, immersion in water and the atmosphere. Other than those FIVE connections, yeah, probably no connection. I wonder what the last person alive in Glasgow will be thinking. Probably something like, 'Hey, where'd everybody go?!'

  1. What a month February 2018 was for garbage truck fires! Unprecedented for such a short month - on more days than JJFH events in Hull! There were a total of 11 days where 12 garbage trucks burst into flames while there were 10 days with 12 JJFH incidents in Hull. On 5 occasions, both happened on the same day! Wow, that's just nuts.

Bombogenesis Winter Storm Riley hits the US East Coast with 60mph winds, snow and 4ft surges leaving 500,000 without power and causing 2,600 cancelled flights
    http://strangesounds.org/2018/03/bombogenesis-winter-storm-riley-pounds-the-east-coast-60mph-winds-snow-and-4ft-surges-leaving-500000-without-power-and-causing-2600-cancelled-flights.html

Winter Storm Riley is more than a beast! It’s a bombogenesis powerful storm. Parts of Boston on Friday and the rest of coastal Massachusetts have been flooded at high tide, when the third highest tide on record at 14.67 ft with storm surges rising to almost 4ft hit. Winter Storm Riley dumped heavy rain and up to 18 inches of snow along the East Coast on Friday all of this accompanied by hurricane force winds. 2,600 flights were cancelled on Friday as the storm took hold and another 1,400 were delayed. Some 500,000 people are already without power and more outages are expected throughout the day. Officials in Massachusetts say it is worse than the January 4 storm and will most probably cause damage to homes. Voluntary evacuation zones are in place along the Massachusetts coast and will remain until Sunday. AmTrak suspended all service between New York and Boston on Friday as a result of the severe conditions. [more]

In this springtime massacre, an estimated 200,000 critically endangered saiga - around 60% of the world's population - died. They were either grazing normally with their newborn calves or dying where they stood, as if a switch had been turned on. I've never seen anything like that." [so cause WASN'T biological!]

there was no time for transmission of the pathogen from animal to animal. It was too quick," he says. "Within two or three days, everything was dying. By the end of the week, every single one was dead."

The scientists on the ground pinpointed blood poisoning as the cause, but were puzzled as to why whole herds were dying so quickly. After 32 postmortems, they concluded the culprit was the bacterium Pasteurella multocida, which they believe normally lives harmlessly in the tonsils of some, if not all, of the antelopes. In a research paper published in January in Science Advances, Kock and colleagues contrasted the 2015 MME with the two from the 1980s. They concluded that a rise in temperature to 37C and an increase in humidity above 80% in the previous few days had stimulated the bacteria to pass into the bloodstream where it caused haemorrhagic septicaemia, or blood poisoning.

The Red Cross estimated an initial 2000 people were in urgent need of emergency supplies, while the death toll had climbed to 31 and would probably rise further. A state of emergency was declared in the provinces of Southern and Western Highlands, Hela and Enga, allowing extra funding to be released by neighbouring countries and aid organisations including the Red Cross.
