Event Update For 2017-10-11

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

According to Gordon Tester, Tununak's school principal, the airport has been effectively shut down since last Thursday. Community members weren't really told what was happening. 'We were calling the airlines [and] asking when the next plane was coming in,' Tester said. 'And they just said they're not landing until further notice. Well, then you have to ask, "well what is further notice?"' It was only then, said Tester, that Tununak residents discovered that Ravn and Grant had stopped flying to their village altogether."

  1. First, the good news - Rootsetters @ Sprout last night (an Ardmore based band, where i'm from originally): multi-instrumentalist (keyboards, flute, sax), great drummer, good lead guitar/vocalist, and awesome bass player KILLED it! I stayed as long as I could. Their songs (some original, lots of covers) would go on for 15 min. to a 1/2 hr - got everyone swaying and dancing - and put everyone into trance mode (like some Dead songs would meander for quite a while and then, suddenly, you're back to the song again). 'Put 'em in the rotation' (have 'em back)!
Saturday is going to be spectacular there with at least a DOZEN (great) bands (and dj's) performing all day long until closing (3 a.m. - it's a private club) with food and using an indoor/outdoor open venue style (weather permitting - grilling outside/regular kitchen fare inside)!

And now, the bad news - everything is falling apart rapidly and it's becoming obvious that there isn't going to be any "recovery,"
economically or physically, for quite a while (if ever) from these giant storms and all-consuming, hotter than usual fires.
When Jason Box said "we're fucked," he wasn't mincing words (like he is now). McPherson's been proven correct time after time, and Jonny is on the front-lines of documenting our extinction, one day at a time, and also has been spot-on in his analysis of what's going on.
