Event Update For 2015-07-19

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2015-07-19 - Small plane crashes in Wedderburn (Australia), near coastal Sydney, engine failure, 1 killed, 1 injured:

Note: As the atmosphere is increasingly contaminated, not only are more aircraft burning, but they're crashing too. It won't always be the same reason. Some crashes are caused by the pilot losing consciousness or dying in the cockpit, some are caused when the plane gains altitude and hits a pocket of atmosphere that has too little oxygen for the engine to run and the engine sputters out, and occasionally aircraft are coming down on fire or being knocked out of the sky by an explosion, like the medical helicopter that crashed after being hit by a 'flash of light' in Oklahoma City (Oklahoma), killing 2 people, mentioned in the 2013-03-13 update. Small aircraft are more vulnerable to these problems, especially the low-oxygen problem, than big passenger planes. Your odds of surviving a plane flight are still very good, but the odds are worsening day by day....

  1. Thanks Jonny! You would think there'd be at least SOME public mention, you know, for safety reasons if nothing else, about all the people dying while swimming, fishing, surfing etc. in or by bodies of water. i guess the authorities don't want to say anything that would affect business, tourism, vacation plans, so you take your chances doing anything (especially near water) these days. Collateral damage to capitalism.

Pretty ironic when an insurance building goes up in flames. i hope they're covered.

I-10 at washed out bridge in California to reopen Friday

The main route connecting Los Angeles and Phoenix, which was closed when a surge of floodwater damaged several bridges spanning small desert gullies, is set to partially reopen Friday — far sooner than officials first estimated.

[only one lane will be open at that time, but it's a start]

In light of the damage, some outside engineers said Caltrans may need to adopt tougher design and protection standards for highway bridges, particularly with heavy rains possible in the coming months due to the ocean-warming phenomenon known as El Nino.
