Event Update For 2014-10-26

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Fires And Explosions

2014-10-26 - Around 70 motorcycles destroyed by fire at motorsports business in coastal San Jose (California), nobody there:

2014-10-26 - Three garbage trucks destroyed by fire while parked in lot in Huntsville (Alabama):

Quote: "Employees of the Fleet Management Division tell WHNT News 19 they heard a loud boom shortly after 11 AM and immediately left the building. A crowd gathered at the fence as fire crews fought the blaze, which began in one sanitation truck and spread to two others."

Quote: "An investigation is ongoing. Among the investigators' questions will be how the fire started, as the trucks were all behind a locked gate."

Note: Fences and locks don't stop gases blowing through in the atmosphere...

2014-10-26 - Classic cars and 5-stall garage destroyed by fire at home in Sparks (Nevada), fire started in car:

Quote: "She tells News 4 she and her husband were watching football at the time when all of a sudden they smelled smoke. Investigators believe the fire began with one the classic cars in the garage."

2014-10-26 - Seven yachts destroyed by fire at shipyard in coastal Fiumicino (Italy):

Quote: "A big fire spread over a shipyard in Fiumicino, close to Rome, inside at least seven yachts of more than 10 mt length, destroying them irrevocably."

2014-10-26 - Boat bursts into flame while dry-docked at Traders Cove Marina in coastal Brick (New Jersey):

Note: Just some more piles of parked vehicles burning up. All vehicles are now randomly-igniting firebombs that can go off at any time. It's no big deal if a few dozen motorcycles or some yachts go up in flames, but garbage trucks, that's a different matter. This has been happening steadily for a while now, with multiple parked police cars, garbage trucks, fire engines, parking lots of cars, etc. Eventually this problem will go away...because there won't be any vehicles left that haven't burned. I doubt we're going to enjoy that very much. We could postpone the misery if people would park vehicles away from each other and away from anything they don't want to see destroyed by fire, but that ain't happening, so we'll all be buried in trash and starving much sooner than is necessary...

2014-10-26 - Home explodes and burns in Holden (Massachusetts), 1 killed:

Quote: "One person is dead after a house explosion in Holden and fire officials are still investigating. Witnesses reported heavy flames and at least two explosions at the home on Farrgautt Way. The front door of the home was blown off as a result of one of those explosions."

Quote: "The fire occurred when an outdoor generator exploded next to the home and set the structure ablaze."

2014-10-26 - Vacant mobile home destroyed by explosion and fire in Glocester (Rhode Island):

Quote: "One neighbor says he heard a large crashing sound, then saw the mobile home go up in flames. Authorities say no one was injured. Police say the home was vacant and up for sale. The mobile home was totally destroyed. Officials say it appears flying debris from the home caused some damage to a nearby home."

2014-10-26 - Woman goes to relax at backyard campfire at home at 5 AM, clothes ignite, in Fishkill (New York), woman killed:

Note: Numerous people have died while burning brush, a lot of bonfires have exploded and burned people, gas grills have exploded, yada yada. As the atmosphere is increasingly contaminated by flammable methane and hydrogen sulfide, clothes are being contaminated, making it much more likely for people to burn to death when their clothes ignite. And these are invisible clouds of flammable gas, so nobody will see it coming, and if you're outdoors and there's an open flame then very bad things can happen, especially in the wee hours...

2014-10-26 - Restaurant heavily damaged by fire in coastal Gloucester (Massachusetts):

2014-10-26 - Garage destroyed by fire just before midnight, home damaged, on Geist Reservoir in Fishers (Indiana):

Quote: "Firefighters were dispatched to the home on Geist Reservoir just before midnight. They arrived and found the garage fully involved and fire extending into the home."

Note: I bet they had one or more vehicles parked in that three-stall garage...

2014-10-26 - Two porches burst into flame before 2 AM at home(s) in Rockford (Illinois), near the Rock River:

2014-10-26 - Porch bursts into flame, fire spreads to home, in North St. Louis (Missouri), near the Mississippi River:

Note: Porches and decks and fences are often made of wood and use steel nails or bolts, which rust, which means there's rusty iron/steel right next to flammable wood, and they're outdoors, fully exposed to the atmosphere. That will be the originating point for a whole lot of house fires. If the wood is treated or painted then it will be less vulnerable and if you use those coated rust-proof screws then they'll be significantly less vulnerable to the problem...

2014-10-26 - Porch bursts into flame at 4:10 AM, fire spreads to home, in Chico (California):

Quote: "Fickert said the cause of the fire has not been determined as of 11 a.m., but mentioned that there have been a rash of couch fires on the south campus area. 'We don't know where it was ignited first, but its not a good idea to have combustibles on a porch.'"

Note: I bet all the couches that have ignited were upholstered and contained some rusty iron/steel and I bet most or all of those fires also occurred in the wee hours. If you leave any upholstered furniture on a porch or deck then don't be surprised if that furniture spontaneously ignites and burns your house down...

2014-10-26 - Deck bursts into flame at 4:37 AM, fire spreads to apartment building, in Monticello (Indiana), 14 homeless:

Quote: "A resident in apartment 202 told investigators she heard a crackling sound and smelled smoke, then found a fire on the deck, according to Hickman. The White County 911 center received a call at 4:37 a.m. Firefighters arrived five minutes later to find flames were shooting through the roof, Hickman said."

Note: Was the deck made of wood, held together with steel nails? I bet it was. This place is called Beachwood Apartments and it's located on a peninsula surrounded on three sides by the Tippecanoe River. The wee hours are when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any methane and/or hydrogen sulfide in the air above closer to the ground, making fires, explosions and animals and people sickening or dying more common during those hours...

2014-10-26 - Home destroyed by fire in the wee hours in Tulsa (Oklahoma):

2014-10-26 - Deadly fire burns apartment in Hot Springs (Arkansas), 1 killed:

2014-10-26 - Vacant home burns in Abilene (Texas):

2014-10-26 - Vacant home destroyed by fire just before 3:30 AM in coastal Melbourne (Australia), mattress factory burns too:

2014-10-26 - Vacant commercial building burns at 1 AM in Arcata (California):

2014-10-26 - Vacant Music Row landmark burns (again) at 3 AM in Nashville (Tennessee), fire started in basement:

Note: This place was just hit by a huge fire in September, mentioned in the 2014-09-23 update. That keeps happening, buildings burning multiple times. The reason is that whatever vulnerability the building had to the atmospheric contamination problem that caused the first fire is not addressed merely by the building burning and the fire being put out. In fact, that will tend to make buildings even MORE vulnerable, so they burn again. Eventually they burn so hard that there's nothing left that CAN burn and then the problem is 'solved', if you want to look at complete destruction as a 'solution'...

2014-10-26 - Vacant home burns for the third time in coastal Providence (Rhode Island):

2014-10-26 - Two rare deep sea beaked whales wash ashore dead in Australia in a week:

'All of his belongings, including his laptop and wallet, were still inside the room. There were no signs of violence.'"

2014-10-26 - Man foams at the mouth, staggers around near bus, in St. Louis (Missouri), near the Mississippi River:

Note: A bit of exaggeration there. He doesn't attack the bus, just stumbles around foaming at the mouth and looking disoriented. No idea when this occurred, but since this can happen to anyone at any time now, it seems relevant regardless. There've been numerous instances of people (and animals) foaming at the mouth, though usually they're found dead...but not always. A man attacked a student while foaming at the mouth at Smythe Academy campus in Sacramento (California), mentioned in the 2012-10-17 update, and a woman, foaming at the mouth, abducted some kids in a vehicle, in coastal Federal Way (Washington), mentioned in the 2014-03-11 update. Anyone who gets hit by that strong of a whiff of hydrogen sulfide is not likely to live very long and even if they do, they may suffer renal failure (kidneys), heart damage, brain damage, all kinds of stuff...

2014-10-26 - Some streets to be closed for sinkhole surveying in sinkhole-friendly Harrisburg (Pennsylvania):

2014-10-26 - Man goes into cardiac arrest along the Little Gunpower River in Gunpowder Falls State Park (Maryland):

2014-10-26 - Responders train for plane crash at airport in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania):

2014-10-26 - Temp hits 91 degrees on Oct 25, shatters record high, in Wichita (Kansas):

Quote: "Saturday’s high of 91 degrees obliterated a record dating back nearly 125 years, according to the National Weather Service. The previous record high for Oct. 25 was 87, set in 1891."

2014-10-26 - Higher-than-normal amounts of snow expected this winter in Wichita (Kansas):

Note: The climate is being pulled in two directions. The vast amounts of methane belching into the atmosphere are pulling temps higher, but all the volcanoes erupting are pulling temps lower, so the weather is becoming more extreme, in both directions. That's a serious problem for people who don't want to starve to death. Crops require a stable climate. If crops get hit by a couple of days where it's too hot or too cold or too wet or too dry then the whole crop can be lost, and as the climate becomes more extreme the odds that that will happen increase. The US military trained a coupla three years ago on how to quell civilian food riots, where the soldiers playing starving civilians were holding signs saying stuff like, 'Give us food now!' I'm starting to see why they might need such training. The soldiers doing the quelling were all armed, so it looks like they expect the subduing of the starving masses to at least possibly involve the use of some bullets...

2014-10-26 - Company unveils world's first zombie-proof log cabin:

Quote: "The ZFC-1 also comes with a 10-year anti-zombie guarantee as standard and can be fitted with optional extras such as water cannons, riot protection suits and flamethrowers."

Note: Log cabin so it'll burn and/or explode at some point, but hey, you can be zombie-free until then!

  1. Warm here today too (close to 80). Rakin' up some leaves and surprisingly uncover a beautiful red and white rose in full bloom - in late October, go figure.

The wife's back to work but needs to stay on headache prevention meds (might last a few weeks to a month according to doc). Luckily the swelling is way down and the cut doesn't look so bad. Inside her mouth, her lower jawline is all black and blue and her teeth hurt so much she's restricted to yogurt and soup for now.
    Tough chick.

Harrisburg is a mess - economically, politically, environmentally, and socially.

See, now there's another regularly recurring incident (buildings burning multiple times) that has to have firefighters scratching their heads.

Wind turbine going up in flames - now that's and expensive piece of equipment to replace. Just the blades on 'em are enormous, not to mention the giant motor compartment that's as big as a house. Some crane work there.

People gotta stop playin' around in bodies of water, like it's just another day at the beach.

Thanks for another great update Jonny!

    Man, them days are over!

  2. This week there were a lot of extreme violence within families, in many cities ...
Perhaps this comes under 'zombie' category.

    Stories like
Man beheads woman at Long Island apartment, drags her into the street, kicks severed head before jumping in front of a train [NY]
Jitendra Lad killed family then himself in Bradford home [UK]

A man fatally shot his adult daughter and a teenage granddaughter on Monday night at a south Seattle home, then killed himself, Seattle police said. An unharmed 10-year-old boy was able to call 911 and report the shooting.

Man speaks out after surviving shooting that killed 3 relatives [Tenn.]

'Whole family killed': 2 adults, 2 young boys found dead in upstate New York home

Washington school shooter fired at family, killed classmate

    1. Yeah, I've been noticing all the insanely savage violence. I'm sure a lot of it is connected, and there will be much more. Thanks for the insane savage violence update!
