Event Update For 2014-10-24

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2014-10-24 - Mysterious fire in Van (Turkey), water wells and methane mentioned:

Note: Their English translation is lacking, but they mention a mysterious fire, water wells, say methane may be the cause and also mention the presence of a CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) team. Hmmm, wonder what happened. Did the wells burst into flame? That's what it sounds like, and it's gotta be frightening when your water supply ignites. I wish I hadn't forgotten 95% of the Turkish I once knew...

Note: They're blaming overdose, which is exactly what I said some time ago that they'd do to explain people mysteriously dropping dead. What else can they say? Gotta have something other than the truth to sell the gullible. I'll give 'em a 9 on the 0-10 predictability scale. These guys probably got poisoned in Woy Woy then hydrogen sulfide's delayed-reaction killing ability killed them both a coupla-three hours later but not quite at the same time. Noxious gas closed Sirius Cove Road on the lower north shore in Sydney too, earlier this month, mentioned in the 2014-10-03 update. Hydrogen sulfide's been blowing ashore and has turned coastal Jurien Bay (Australia) into a veritable ghost town, mentioned in the 2014-08-09 update. Note: I mentioned him when he went missing, in the 2014-10-22 update. I didn't want to jinx his chances by saying then that he'd probably be found dead, but these days if you go out on a boat or go swimming or fishing or diving and go missing, it's probably because you're dead...

  1. How is it that you had some Turkish in your vocabulary at one time? Is it the same way I used to know some conversational Italian?

Probably not a good idea to live on volcanic island anymore, but then again, where is it "safe?"

Thanks for speaking the truth, Jonny. It's getting more difficult each day trying to live an unsustainable life, as species in overshoot all experience.

My wife fell last evening getting into a relaxing bath - smashed the shit out of her face: bit right through her lower lip, hit her head on the windowsill, twisted her ankle and stressed an already problematic knee. There's no question about her having at least a slight concussion, while her entire lower jaw hurts, she's got a knob on her head, her eyes hurt, she has a really bad headache and can barely walk. So i'm gonna spend a bunch of time today taking care of her and trying to talk her out of going to work tomorrow.

All the best, Jonny - thanks for another comprehensive report of the new normal.

    1. Sorry about your wife, hope she's okay!

I was stationed in Turkey, on the coast in Izmir, in the Army in the 80s, was there about 14 months. I actually learned a lot of spoken Turkish. I even reached the point where I was THINKING in Turkish sometimes, which, when I realized it, freaked me out, since I'd never even considered that that could be possible.

  2. Saw this:

"Five persons were transported to Bluewater Health in Sarnia with injuries. One person was subsequently airlifted to London (Ontario),"a police statement said, adding that an investigation into the incident had been launched. It was unclear what caused the explosion, but all motorists were being advised to avoid the area.

    1. Things are getting very 'splodey! Sounds like an unpublished C.S. Lewis book, The Chronicles of Sarnia: The Explosion and the Industrial Plant.
