Event Update For 2014-10-09

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Note: Bad time for jokes like that! I did a plane prank on my roommate back in the 1980s, before things were all tense. He was flying from Arizona to go home on leave in Florida. I found a real-size image of a pistol in a gun magazine then cut out an aluminum foil silhouette of the pistol and slipped it inside one of his books. They x-rayed his stuff at the airport and...'Gun! Gun! Swarm!' They took him down hard. He punched me in the face when he got back from leave but since I deserved it, I just nursed my bruised face and we remained friends, and even he admitted that in retrospect it was pretty funny. I would never do such a thing these days though. The times are waaaay different now!

2014-10-09 - Radiation from Chernobyl permeating the environment in Norway:

In 2012, reindeer in the area had radioactivity levels of 1,500 becquerel. Sheep from two different parts of Norway recorded high levels of radioactivity as well, showing readings as high as 4,500 becquerel. The safe limit for radioactivity in animals for human consumption is 600 becquerel per kilo."

  1. Jonny, i'm always impressed with your work, but on this day you hit the home run:

you found TWO news stories within miles of my house that I had no inkling of (wasn't on the news or in any paper that I saw - of course I could have missed them, but it's unlikely - i'm always checking for this kind of stuff)

How do you do it, man? You get all this info that's right out there but isn't anywhere near the mainstream (or they don't want a whole lotta these events becoming public knowledge - might spook the herd, ya know) - you must spend your whole day on it or have some barrage of search engines going at once. Whatever your secret - you're really good at this! My hat's off to you, Jonny - thank you for being there and doin' this.

    1. Sure thing, man! Hey, I like to see what's going on in the world myself, understand things, so no reason not to share stuff with others.

  2. Hey Jonny know your on late night fire guard and was reading about this story thought you'd like. I like the sentence " The high methane levels are not a health risk to people in the region" I remember Roswell setting record car fires in the not so distant past .

    1. LMAO, yep, that's a good term for it - late night fire guard! Yes, that IS interesting. I hadn't thought about the Roswell car fires (every single one still unsolved) in relation to that, but Roswell is downwind of that area. Could be there's some methane spewing from the ground out there, like the Siberian methane sinkholes, but with more desert and less ice. I doubt that'd get a lot of notice either, since New Mexico is like 95% unpopulated areas.

And there's no way for them to 'inventory' the methane entering the atmosphere. They can't even inventory the methane coming from the hundreds or thousands of kilometer-wide vents in the Arctic, much less all the other clathrate deposits that have begun melting around the world. One thing seems certain though: a LOT of methane is entering the atmosphere!
