Event Update For 2014-10-23

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2014-10-23 - Passenger plane bursts into flame, makes emergency landing in Las Vegas (Nevada):

Quote: "A caller to the ABC TV news affiliate in Las Vegas reported seeing flames coming from the plane before it landed. There were 132 passengers and crew on board the Boeing 757."

2014-10-23 - Smoke in the cockpit sends Air Force DC-10 to emergency landing at airport in Houston (Texas):

Quote: "An Air Force plane made an emergency landing at Bush IAH this afternoon because of smoke in the cockpit."

Note: The last plane to come down smoking or on fire was two days prior, when a passenger plane was hit by smoke in the cockpit and made an emergency landing at the airport in Prince Albert (Canada), mentioned in the 2014-10-21 update. As the atmosphere is increasingly contaminated by flammable methane and hydrogen sulfide, such events are on the rise, as expected...

Quote: "It is not yet clear what substance the firefighters may have been exposed to. It is also unknown what sparked the blaze in the abandoned building that at one time housed a company named Belmont Metals."

Note: I bet some hydrogen sulfide found some metal in that kiln, and a fire broke out. Then the fumes from that fire would have contained any hydrogen sulfide that didn't burn off, plus who knows what else, and that sickened those firefighters. They're lucky they're even still alive...

2014-10-23 - Truck hauling chemical waste explodes in parking lot at hospital in Ankara (Turkey), 1 injured:

2014-10-23 - Airport terminal building hit by fire at airport in coastal Lagos (Nigeria), people freak out:

Note: The last major airport fire was earlier this month when 12 airplanes, 3 vehicles and a hangar were destroyed by fire at an airport near Camas (Washington), mentioned in the 2014-10-06 update. Nobody was in the hangar, it just spontaneously combusted. This Lagos fire, like many, was blamed on 'electrical short circuit'. Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper (and other metals), especially electrified copper, so electrical stuff is sparking and starting fires all over the place. Same thing with both fire problems with the Boeing Dreamliners, same problem with all the underground electrical fires and explosions, same problem with many of the vehicle fires, same problem with many house and business fires. Any electrified copper that's not protected from the atmosphere is now a fire risk. This one sub-problem all by itself is probably plenty sufficient to wipe out human civilization as we know it. No need to wait for an EMP to wipe out the grid in a localized area. The atmospheric contamination problem will wipe out the grid everywhere on the planet, though it is happening progressively over time, not instantly...

Outdoors, near the coast or a body of water or a low-lying area, no marks on the body - that's always gonna be suspicious from now on.
