Event Update For 2014-10-19

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Note: And yet another plane comes down burning or smoking. At least when your car bursts into flame, you can (maybe) just pull over, if your brakes are still functioning and your power locks/windows still work. Obviously that's not so easy when it's your plane that bursts into flame...

  1. How you doin' Jonny? Ya aight?

It just keeps ramping up, in fits and starts - but all over the place! Now we're witnessing multiple vehicle fires repeated at the exact same place a few years later!
WTF! It's so OBVIOUS any more - with the numbers and wide range of ages demonstrating that we're wandering around in a freaking GAS chamber of our making and maintenance! We're doing this to ourselves by pouring gigatons of CO2 into the atmosphere, which changes the chemistry which ripples through the climate and changes that, and this while the Earth's radiation shield is waning in a predictable way, exposing the entire biosphere to increased solar radiation (and possibility of pole switch), which in turn penetrates the oceans and land masses. This may have been the trigger to all the volcanic and earthquake activity.

One thing's for sure - we're now heating up from below TOO. All the myriad causes are probably too hard to describe down to the fine minutiae, due to the fact that they all are intimately and infinitely interrelated. It doesn't even matter any more.

Your stunning posts every day bear witness to the steepening downward curve we're increasingly quickly approaching with no going back now.

    1. All the shit and trash we're producing isn't helping matters either! Not much we can do about that, and we're well past the point of no return anyway.

Still fighting fleas here, but got tools to fight the war now. Got a six-month supply of both Program and Frontline, so I'm giving the cats one or the other every two weeks. Saw five rabbits while taking a walk around the block this morning. Looks like they might inherit the Earth! And hey, they're kinda meek, so I guess that works out. I just wish they'd do their inheriting with less fleas! *skritch skritch*

  2. Every two weeks might be a little tough on them - you don't want to poison your cats!
    Rabbits make good eatin' i hear . . .
