Event Update For 2014-09-19

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2014-09-19 - Wildfire erupts near Henry Hagg Lake (Oregon), 50 homes evacuated, emergency declared:

Quote: "Fire officials have ordered evacuations for residents on Stepien Road as a fast-moving brush fire burned near Henry Hagg Lake Friday evening. The evacuation order affects about 50 homes in the Gaston Fire District, according to Forest Grove Fire & Rescue spokesman Dave Nemeyer."

Quote: "The fast-moving blaze is casting embers ahead of the flame front and starting new spot fires, and firefighters are seeing fire whirls - evidence of extreme fire behavior..."

Note: A boat burst into flame and burned a dock in late August at Henry Hagg Lake, mentioned in the 2014-08-24 update. A day later, a family of four was found dead in Henry Hagg Lake too, mentioned in the 2014-08-25 update. Hydrogen sulfide is highly flammable, it is deadly, and it is water-soluble...

Note: Another fire erupted in this same trailer park at 3:22 AM which destroyed a different mobile home. That fire was blamed on 'electrical malfunction' with a night light. Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, thus all the 'electrical fires' igniting parked vehicles and the various underground electrical explosions and fires hitting cities around the world. This sequence of two fires sounds a whole lot an incident where an SUV burst into flame while parked at one home and a dimmer switch burst into flame at the same time at the house next door, at 3:30 AM, in Stuttgart (Arkansas), mentioned in the 2013-02-05 update. Was that just a one-in-a-trillion coincidence, that a parked SUV burst into flame at the same time a dimmer switch burst into flame at the house next door? No way was that a coincidence, and the two fires at this trailer park were not a coincidence either...

  1. As usual, lots of good stuff here (especially your humor) Jonny.

What is it that I find so funny about Cinchwad?

Southern Louisiana is having real problems with all the dead-zones, the remnants of the BP disaster fouling the marshes and wetlands and this

Southeast Louisiana is disappearing, washing away at a rate of a football field every hour, 16 square miles per year

(Scientific American) – In just 80 years, some 2,000 square miles of its coastal landscape have turned to open water, wiping places off maps, bringing the Gulf of Mexico to the back door of New Orleans and posing a lethal threat to an energy and shipping corridor vital to the nation’s economy.

And it’s going to get worse, even quicker. [read the rest]

Oh yeah - they're smokin' in Shamokin (and in Pittsburgh and Philly too)!

Things are going full retard everywhere in one way or another (I got coffee on my screen on that one - thanks).

Honey Brook is right down the road from here.

An important breakthrough has just solved one of mankind's most important problems:

A Chinese Mathematician Figured Out How To Beat Anyone At Rock-Paper-Scissors

The question of how to win at Rock-Paper-Scissors has, believe it or not, plagued mathematicians and game theorists for quite some time. While they previously had devised a theoretical answer to the question, a new experiment by Zhijian Wang at Zhejiang University in China that used real players, has revealed an interesting wrinkle to the original theory. [our problems are solved!]

Joe sent me a pdf version of his book to read (and critique at Amazon) for signing up to his free newsletter!

    1. Wow, a football field PER HOUR! I guess no one notices because it's spread out across the entire coastline, but still, incredible.

And whew, wasn't sure we were gonna solve the Rock-Paper-Scissors problem before we were gone. Load off my mind there. Time to partay!

Joe's a nice guy and it's tough to argue with free!
