The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.
A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Trump's foreign tour: Dancing with wolves on the Titanic
https://www.sott.net/article/352399-Trumps-foreign-tour-Dancing-with-wolves-on-the-Titanic
Robert Fisk put it best: "Trump Is About To Really Mess Up In The Middle East". Following his fantastically stupid decision to attack the Syrian military with cruise missiles, Trump or, should I say, the people who make decisions for him, probably realized that it was "game over" for any US policy in the Middle-East so they did the only thing that they could do: they ran towards those few who were actually happy with this aggression against Syria: the Saudis and the Israelis. Needless to say, with these two "allies," what currently passes for some type of "US foreign policy" in the Middle-East will only go from bad to worse. [more]

5 Highly Respected Financial Experts That Are Warning That A Market Crash Is Imminent
http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/5-highly-respected-financial-experts-that-are-warning-that-a-market-crash-is-imminent
[maybe this is why the U.S. is so DESPERATE]
If everything is going to be “just fine”, why are so many big names in the financial community warning about an imminent meltdown? I don’t think that I have seen so many simultaneous warnings about a market crash since just before the great financial crisis of 2008. And at this point, you would have to be quite blind not to see that stocks are absurdly overvalued and that a correction is going to happen at some point. And when stocks do start crashing, lots of fingers are going to start pointing at President Trump, but it won’t be his fault. The Federal Reserve and other central banks are primarily responsible for creating this bubble, and they should definitely get the blame for what is about to happen to global financial markets. https://www.sott.net/article/352458-Legit-Alleged-DC-surgeon-claims-on-4chan-that-Seth-Rich-was-alive-and-recovering-before-officers-entered-ICU
A 4-year resident surgeon at Washington Hospital Center claims that Seth Rich was alive and recovering well in facility's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after being treated for a total of 3 routine gunshot wounds — that is until a number of law enforcement officers arrived eight hours later kicking most everyone out of the ICU and physically barring doctors and others from attending to Rich.
The surgeon who witnessed this bizarre behavior decided to come forth with the information despite the fact that he or she may be easy to identify. [more]

Police say they are as mystified as everyone else as to the cause of a loud bang heard across large parts of Kent last night.
People living in Medway, the Isle of Sheppey, Deal and as far north as Bromley and Beckenham reported hearing the noise.
One Rochester resident took to social media to say the bang was so loud that birds flew out of a tree. [more]

Scientists investigate pigs in connection with Congo's new Ebola outbreak
https://www.sott.net/article/352461-Scientists-investigate-pigs-in-connection-with-Congos-new-Ebola-outbreak
Scientists' interest stems from two data points. An epidemiological investigation has indicated that the first person to fall sick was a hunter who had come into contact with a wild boar carcass. And 84 pigs have recently died in eight villages in Nambwa, the epicenter of the current outbreak, according to a report issued yesterday by the DRC's Ministry of Health. Researchers have taken samples from those animals, according to the report, which says a "protocol for investigation of unusual deaths reported in pigs is under development." [more]
Record Heat Predicted for Fort McMurray Wednesday as Fire Danger Spikes

[once again, Robert has shut me off from commenting - actually, moderating any comment by me to infinity - after I replied to Leland Palmer on his last thread. All I did was quote the first 3 sentences from the source Robert himself was quoting from, stating that planting trees would no longer help in trying to absorb the continuing amount of CO2 we dump into the air every year. Go figure. When he didn't post it, after days, I told him he sucked.]
Just a little more than one year after freakish global warming-spurred wildfires forced a near complete evacuation of the tar sands production town of Fort McMurray, Alberta, record heat and extreme fire hazard are again settling in over this subarctic region. [more; some people never learn]

Stop hoping we can fix global warming by pulling carbon out of the air – Scientists warn of “dire consequences for food production or the biosphere”
ReplyDeletehttp://www.desdemonadespair.net/2017/05/stop-hoping-we-can-fix-global-warming.html
[This is the article Scribbler was quoting from, that unequivocally states planting trees won't be enough to counter fossil fuel use.]
Scientists are expressing increasing skepticism that we’re going to be able to get out of the climate change mess by relying on a variety of large-scale land-use and technical solutions that have been not only proposed but often relied upon in scientific calculations.
Two papers published last week debunk the idea of planting large volumes of trees to pull carbon dioxide out of the air — saying there just isn’t enough land available to pull it off — and also various other strategies for “carbon dioxide removal,” some of which also include massive tree plantings combined with burning their biomass and storing it below the ground. Sky-high carbon tax needed to avoid climate catastrophe, say experts
http://www.desdemonadespair.net/2017/05/sky-high-carbon-tax-needed-to-avoid.html
A group of leading economists warned on Monday that the world risks catastrophic global warming in just 13 years unless countries ramp up taxes on carbon emissions to as much as $100 (£77) per metric tonne.
Experts including Nobel laureate Joseph Stiglitz and former World Bank chief economist Nicholas Stern said governments needed to move quickly to tackle polluting industries with a tax on carbon dioxide at $40-$80 per tonne by 2020.
A tax of $100 a tonne would be needed by 2030 as one of a series of measures to prevent a rise in global temperatures of 2C. [more]
[sooner or later, they'll all come to realize that McPherson has been correct all along, that it's game over for humanity - and that it will happen faster than expected (less than 10 years now). Carbon taxation simply won't help and it won't work.]
