Event Update For 2017-05-20

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. Amazing number of "medical events" continues, causing accidents and probably killing the others experiencing them (the slumpers).

Wildfires and brush fires are escalating, buildings are burning (good humor on the train station story!) and the story of the kids burning ants - THAT'LL teach 'em to fuck around with Mother Nature!

Let's see what happened overnight and early today:

US Congressman Dennis Kucinich: "The US is under attack from within"

Personally, I'm horrified by the fact that Goldman Sachs goons are in total control of the Trump administration's economic policy. I'm also horrified that our new President's first overseas trip will be to the terrorist state of Saudi Arabia, a autocratic, brutal monarchy with undeniable ties to 9/11. I'm likewise disgusted by Attorney General Jefferson Sessions' oppressive and uncivilized relaunch of the misguided and disastrous "war on drugs." Finally, I'm very troubled by the fact Mike Flynn attempted to disrupt a military operation using Syrian Kurds to rout ISIS in Raqqa because Turkey didn't like it, given he was working as a paid agent of Turkey months earlier and never disclosed it.

There are a plethora of things to be deeply concerned about when it comes to Trump, yet the coup attempt against him being launched by elements of the deep state, corporate media and Hillary dead-ender Democrats is more concerning still. It's obvious what's happening right now is not a sincere attempt to hold a President accountable, or fight him on policy or personnel choices. Rather, this all seems to be a very deliberate and premeditated attempt to remove him from office. [more]

The Tens Of Millions Of Forgotten Americans That The U.S. Economy Has Left Behind

The evidence that the middle class in America is dying continues to mount.  As you will see below, nearly half the country would be unable “to cover an unexpected $400 expense”, and about two-thirds of the population lives paycheck to paycheck at least part of the time.  Of course the economy has not been doing that well overall in recent years.  Barack Obama was the only president in all of U.S. history not to have a single year when the economy grew by at least 3 percent, and U.S. GDP growth during the first quarter of 2017 was an anemic 0.7 percent.  During the Obama era, it is true that wealthy enclaves in New York, northern California and Washington D.C. did thrive, but meanwhile most of the rest of the country has been left behind. 3. Arctic Warming - Update May 2017

[according to the Scripps Institute, we hit 410.58 on 5/14/17 and Guy McPherson mentions we're now at 412 ppm in his talk above]

The density of stations is obvious, as is the inconsistent but strong cooling trend. The issue is TOBS. A lot of stations changed with the conversion to MMTS, and the canges were generally in a direction that created artificial cooling. With adjustment, which includes TOBS correction, the picture is much clearer. Still some cooling in the mid-west, but otherwise warming, as in the rest of N America. [more]

Here we see the U.S. output gap (Actual GDP - Potential GDP) (blue) with the U.S. Federal deficit.

Ponzi schemers are literally papering over recession with borrowed money. And suffice to say, were it not for the dollar reserve currency, all of this *Free* Trade hegemonic entitled bullshit would have ended a long time ago. No other country in the world can run the chasmic trade deficits the U.S. runs [more]

How Long Can The Great Global Reflation Continue? And what will happen when it ends?
Keep in mind that deflation is a function of net energy decline. Attempts at reflation, such as governments taking on more debt, are meant to compensate for net energy decline. But it's a losing battle. -- RF

  5. Sorry for my errors in posting above. It was so long that in trying to cut and paste the various pieces so it would be accepted by the Re-Captcha device I forgot some links and messed up others.

    Here's the corrections:

In the next to last comment above, under my [comment], that next quote is from moyhu @ in his post from 5/19.

A Sinkhole Just Opened in Front of President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Estate

[Is Trump 'allowed' to get FEMA disaster relief or Fed funds to fix the problem? What if the state of FL applies for funds to fix a large bunch of sinkholes in the state, of which his is one? Oooooooh, legal problems]

The sinkhole is 4-by-4 feet and is believed to be near a newly installed water main, according to a Palm Beach travel alert. Sinkholes are a common occurrence in Florida, according to the Weather Channel, which has called them "as much a part of the Florida landscape as palm trees and alligators." [more]

Google's AI future is so impressive it's scary

    [everything is scary now]

The company is quietly transforming your camera into a search engine. Google this week held its developer conference for 2017, where it teased some of the brand new features coming to its products and services.

What we saw on stage was undeniably impressive, but one of the demonstrations in particular was frighteningly so. Google Lens will give the company greater insight into our daily lives than ever before.

It can also analyse everything it sees, understand the context, work out where you are, and figure out what you want to do. [more; don't buy one!]
