Event Update For 2021-05-06

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2021-05-06 - Study from the University of Washington's Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation estimates US COVID-19 deaths at 905,000:

Quote: "Researchers at UW ultimately concluded that the extra deaths not directly caused by COVID-19 were effectively offset by the other reductions in death rates, leaving them to attribute all of the net excess deaths to the coronavirus. 'When you put all that together, we conclude that the best way, the closest estimate, for the true COVID death is still excess mortality, because some of those things are on the positive side, other factors are on the negative side,' Murray said."

Note: Last link is their methodology, which seems rational and reasonable. Excess death statistics have always been the most accurate way to track pandemic deaths. It's also the only way to do apples-to-apples comparisons between pandemics. The 1918 Spanish Flu killed 675,000 people in the US according to the excess death statistics then, so the current pandemic is now the deadliest in US history in terms of the number of lives lost. Of course there were far fewer people alive in 1918 so the Spanish Flu remains the deadliest as a percentage of the population lost...

  2. [cue Four Dead In Ohio]
History: The Kent State May 4, 1970 Shootings. New Documents Surface, Raise Serious Questions

On Saturday May 2, the Ohio National Guard was ordered to duty at the university by Governor Rhodes following a request from Kent Mayor Satrom who feared that socalled radicals would destroy the city. Later that evening the ROTC building went up in flames and radical protestors were blamed for causing the fire. However, it is unknown to this day who the real perpetrators were.

By Sunday May 3, nearly 1,000 National Guard troops were present on the campus. Photographs of the university at the time resemble that of a war zone rather than an educational institution. In the morning, Governor Rhodes visited Kent State and held a press conference where he expressed disdain for the anti-war protestors. Due to the nature of the governor’s speech, it was then assumed that all protests and demonstrations were banned.

An anti-war protest was scheduled for noon on Monday May 4th near the victory bell. The protest was thought to be banned but students still gathered and exercised their right to assembly. The guardsmen ordered for the protestors to disperse but they refused and tensions began to escalate. This led to the guardsmen firing into the crowd of protestors killing four students and injuring nine others. [more]

Sloppy Journalism: The Associated Press is a “Superspreader” of Fake News

A recent Associated Press (AP) “report” entitled “The superspreaders behind top COVID-19 conspiracy theories”, directed against several authors, academics and independent media including Global Research describes Michel Chossudovsky as “a professor emeritus of economics … and a conspiracy theorist who has argued the U.S. military can control the weather”. (emphasis added)

The insinuation is that Chossudovsky is a “Superspreader” intent upon misleading public opinion.

My response: “do you home work”. Sloppy journalism and “Fake News” on this and other issues including Covid.

There is a vast literature on weather modification for military use. “Fact-checking”. The US Military can control the weather. And that is not a conspiracy theory, that’s a conspiracy fact.

I refer the distinguished AP journalists David Klepper, et al to consult the US Air Force document entitled “Weather as a Force Multiplier: Owning the Weather in 2025“

We are dealing with REAL weapons of mass destruction and WHY is it not being reported upon.

It’s scary? Weather Modification for Military Use (2025) coincides chronologically with Joe Biden’s “New Cold War” and the World Economic Forum’s “Global Reset”.

I also suggest that the Associated Press consult the following document:

  3. COVID Vaccines: The Tip of the Iceberg

The latest on covid vaccine safety and effectiveness.

SPR carefully distinguishes between short-term and long-term safety, short-term and long-term effectiveness, age- and sex-specific aspects, and medical and political questions. Some people might prefer a simpler, more black-and-white assessment, but this would not reflect complex reality. [1st 2 of 8 follow]

    A. Vaccine safety

    1. The updated chart above shows the previously reported post-vaccination increase in Israeli 65+ all-cause mortality, based on official data up to April 4. There appears to be a complete media blackout on this issue, both inside and outside of Israel, despite the fact that an Israeli hospital director described a “murky wave of heart attacks” in March. However, in late April Israeli authorities announced an investigation into cases of post-vaccination heart inflammation and heart attacks, primarily in young adults, where the issue is much harder to explain away. In the US, too, multiple cases of heart inflammation and heart attacks after mRNA vaccines have already been reported in young adults. The independent Israeli People’s Committee gathered data on about 320 post-vaccination deaths and about 2500 serious adverse events until early May.

    2. In the USA and Europe, official reporting systems currently show about 10,000 post-vaccination deaths. Based on official case reports, some of these deaths are clearly unrelated to the vaccine, but many were clearly caused or triggered by the vaccine. Due to significant underreporting and a massive reporting backlog, SPR estimates that there could be up to 50,000 post-vaccination deaths in the US and Europe combined. While this is a small number compared to the 1,3 million official covid deaths and the 150 million fully vaccinated people, it is not a trivial number.

    B. Vaccine effectiveness [#1, 3, 4 & 6 listed, but read them all]

    1. The decrease in covid infections in many US states and European countries since late winter or early spring was driven not primarily by vaccination campaigns, but by seasonal effects and other epidemic dynamics (both of which are well-known but poorly understood). This is shown by the fact that infections decreased simultaneously and to a similar extent in countries with a rather low vaccination rate.

    3. Despite these uncertainties, independent cohort studies do confirm a (short-term) vaccine effectiveness after the second dose of about 90% in people up to 70 years of age and about 65% in care home residents (in the case of the Pfizer vaccine and in terms of infections). The protection against (severe) disease and death may be even higher.

    4. A Swedish study found that compared to vaccination, a prior infection protects just as well, or even somewhat better, against a new Sars-CoV-2 infection (91% vs. 86%).

    6. In contrast, multiple countries and several studies have confirmed that the mass vaccination campaign can itself ignite or boost an infection wave, an effect first described by SPR in February. Most recently, this was observed in the Seychelles, the country with the highest vaccination rate in the world, that entered into another lockdown (“despite” a mask mandate). Most likely, this effect is a combination of the vaccination campaign spreading the virus (even into high risk groups), and people exposing themselves to higher risks prior to full protection. [more; incl. 2 min. video]

    [4th section follows]

  4. I have no agenda. I observe reality. The reality is, Israel vaccinated most of their population and after a couple of weeks lag time, the number of infections, hospitalizations and deaths dropped dramatically. In India, with hardly anybody vaccinated, the virus is rampaging around and people are burning corpses on streets. Observations show what they show.

I see you used a bunch of info from 'SPR'. Here's info on them:

Note that they're anonymous and nobody knows who runs them. They're probably not anybody in Switzerland though, but nobody really knows. What their agenda is, I don't know. Replace the acronym SPR with 'Unknown People' in everything they say, since that's who they are.

So they say, 'Unknown People estimate that there could be up to 50,000 post-vaccination deaths in the US and Europe combined.'

Well shit, if unknown people say it, it must be true! Maybe 'Unknown People' is the CIA. How would I know? You could be spreading CIA propaganda there. How would you know? I don't tend to just accept what 'Unknown People' tell me. If they want to be convincing, they need to be a little less secretive about who they are. Otherwise, I assume they've got an agenda.

If people start dropping dead in Israel, I'll be the first to mention it. Observations are what they are. Israel's gotten a buttload of vaccinations and the number of people going into the ground has dropped greatly, and they're happy and reopening and reclaiming their lives.

I'll leave the info from 'Unknown People' to others.

  5. Also, you posted some stuff the other day about vaccine deaths and they linked to data on the CDC, called it genocide. That word seems a little hyperbolic. Here's the actual CDC info:

Quote: "Over 245 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through May 3, 2021. During this time, VAERS received 4,178 reports of death (0.0017%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine."

I would first point out that of those 4,178 deaths, some are probably fake, since anti-vaxxers submit fake reports to VAERS and have for years. Anybody can submit anything. One doctor submitted a report that said the flu vaccine turned him into the Hulk just to show how easy it is to submit a fake report. Some of those deaths probably didn't have anything to do with the vaccines. And some surely did.

But assume every single one of those reports was legit, and every single death was indeed caused by the vaccine. That doesn't seem all that genocidal. That kind of hyperbole conjures the scene of Randy Marsh in the SARS episode in South Park. 'Staaaaan...Staaaaan...go on without me. I got a vaccine, so there's only a 99.9913% chance I'm gonna be okay...'

  6. Fair enough. We'll see how it turns out.

Drones Reveal That Great White Shark Encounters Are Extremely Common

It was once a commonly held belief that to observe a great white shark near the shores of Southern California — or any shore, anywhere for that matter — was a rare and potentially deadly occurrence. Now, thanks to drones, we know that is not actually true.

According to a new report by the LA Times, great white sharks are far more abundant in the shallows than once thought — and much, much closer, too. Carlos Gauna is a SoCal-based photographer and FAA-certified drone pilot, whose work centers around — or rather above — the ocean. NWS confirms Monday tornado damaged 150 trees near Libertytown

A supercell thunderstorm produced a tornado Monday evening between Mount Pleasant and Libertytown, the National Weather Service has confirmed.

The tornado uprooted, snapped or damaged about 150 trees as it moved northeast for about three-quarters of a mile, the NWS said Wednesday after conducting a survey of the area Tuesday. The damage began near a residence in the 10800 block of Old Annapolis Road, causing large branches to fall across the road.

Then, the storm moved east-northeast, damaging up to 100 trees in the area between Old Annapolis and Chestnut Grove roads, before continuing across Chestnut Grove Road and damaging more trees north of Alton Road.

Its winds reached up to 90 miles per hour, NWS surveyors found. They rated the tornado as a one on the Enhanced Fujita Scale, which measures storm strength on a scale of zero to five.

No structural damage or injuries were reported along the tornado's path. [we (on the east coast) only rarely get the BIG ones like in OK & TX, whew]

Americans can't keep ignoring the dozens of states sneaking through laws that attack the right to protest and make it more dangerous to take to the streets

Republican-led state legislatures in several dozen states have passed laws severely limiting the right to protest.

This is a consequence of a GOP takeover at the state level while Democrats focus on the federal level.

Americans need to pay attention to what's going on in their states or it will be too late.

Dana R. Fisher is a Professor of Sociology and the Director of the Program for Society and the Environment at the University of Maryland.

This is an opinion column. The thoughts expressed are those of the author.

The Republican party is waging an attack on our democracy at the state level - and getting away with it.

In the past few weeks, bills have been passed through Republican-led legislatures in Alabama, Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Montana, Florida, and several other states.

These bills include draconian provisions to limit peaceful protest, like increasing penalties for blocking streets, expanding the definition of a riot so that it applies to groups as small as three people, and making it legally defensible for drivers to run over protesters with their cars. The bills are a clear response to the unprecedented wave of predominantly peaceful protests against police brutality and systemic racism that swept over the country last summer in the wake of the murder of George Floyd, and the indigenous-led protests that target projects that expand fossil fuel infrastructure. U.S. hiring takes big step back as businesses scramble for workers, raw materials

U.S. job growth unexpectedly slowed in April, likely curbed by shortages of workers and raw materials as rapidly improving public health and massive government aid fueled an economic boom.

The Labor Department's closely watched employment report on Friday, which showed a plunge in temporary help jobs - a harbinger for future hiring - as well as decreases in manufacturing, retail and courier services employment, sparked a heated debate about the generosity of unemployment benefits.

The enhanced jobless benefits, including a government-funded $300 weekly supplement, pay more than most minimum wage jobs. The benefits were extended until early September as part of a $1.9 trillion COVID-19 pandemic relief package approved in March. [more]

Even bonuses and more pay can’t lure some Dallas-Fort Worth workers back. Here’s why

Many business owners blame generous state and federal unemployment benefits for keeping workers at home. Unemployment payments were increased during the pandemic, providing many people in the United States with as much or even more money than they would normally make in a low-wage job.

“The unemployment benefits are temporary and so are the stimulus checks,” Assanie said. “As some of those things go away, we will probably see people come back.”

About 12% of business owners said their prospective hires couldn’t come back to work because of problems arranging child care, and another 8% cited continued concerns about contracting COVID, including many who live with someone in a high-risk group.

Assanie also noted that many other industries including manufacturing, trucking and transportation, professional services and construction also are experiencing a lack of job applicants. But those industries don’t get the the same attention as restaurants and retailers, whose “Help Wanted” signs are more visible to the public.

Some states are cutting unemployment payments to push people back to work — are extra benefits really keeping Americans out of the labor force?

‘The disappointing jobs report makes it clear that paying people not to work is dampening what should be a stronger jobs market,’ the U.S. Chamber of Commerce said.

Given Friday’s disappointing jobs report, which found that 266,000 jobs were added last month compared to most economists’ forecast of 1 million jobs, many lawmakers are pushing to discontinue federal unemployment benefits, which they claim would eliminate a growing labor shortage. [more]

  10. High winds, heat to brew up elevated fire risk for the Southwest

All the necessary ingredients are present to brew an elevated fire risk across the Southwest over the weekend and even into next week after a vividly memorable and record-breaking wildfire season last year.

Residents are gearing up for yet another bad fire season. Unfortunately, the puzzle pieces are all already in place, from heat to high winds to dryness, causing widespread red-flag warnings to go into effect sooner rather than later. [more]

Middletown farmer is highest-yielding corn producer in Maryland

For the seventh year in a row, a Middletown farmer has been recognized as one of the highest-producing corn growers in the nation.

Drew Haines placed first in the state in the National Corn Growers Association's 2020 contest. He harvested 324 bushels of corn per acre of his fields.

In years past, Haines has been recognized as a national winner. He won first place nationally in the no-till, non-irrigated category in 2019, when his yield was the best it had ever been at 422 bushels per acre. That broke the state's record — which no Maryland farmer managed to beat this year.

This year, Haines' yield fell due to a long dry spell between late June and early August, he said. But he was still "tickled to death" to be recognized as a state winner. [more; corn shortage . .]

States scale back vaccine orders as interest in shots wanes
States asked the federal government this week to withhold staggering amounts of COVID-19 vaccine amid plummeting demand for the shots, contributing to a growing U.S. stockpile of doses. [more]

[this is really interesting, Jonny. i feel like Vizzini facing the Dread Pirate Roberts in Princess Bride. "So the CIA/NSA could be putting out PROPAGANDA to DISCOURAGE people from taking the vaccine so that they then DIE from Covid; OR they're backing the CDC, WH, WHO etc. and placing prominent MAINSTREAM NEWS to get maximum SUPPORT to ENCOURAGE people to get the vaccine, so that THEY DIE (and take a lot of non-vaxxers with them); OR the mainstream is COMPLETELY correct and the vaccine is a LIFE SAVER; there are many other scenarios, i don't know which cup to drink from - both containing 'poison,' mind you]
