Event Update For 2020-01-17

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Roughly the length of a finger, the insects fly together by the millions and are devouring crops and forcing people in some areas to bodily wade through them."

Quote: "One swarm measured 37 miles long by 25 miles wide in the north-east of the country, the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) said in a statement. 'A typical desert locust swarm can contain up to 150 million locusts per square kilometre,' it said."

He refers to the "parasitic mind" (is this similar to the Archons in David Icke's explanations?) and why the "truth movement" is a declaration that leads to "the motherboard" and mind-control rather than the Truth.

He did a reading of Carlos Castaneda on the parasitic mind.

Upon close examination, the teachings of Don Juan, developed in nine books by Carlos Castaneda from 1968 to 1998, contain numerous distinct parallels with Gnostic instruction.
The new sorcery introduced by Castaneda is an extension and make-over of traditional knowledge of the "old seers" of the Toltec tradition of ancient Mexico. It differs from the old sorcery largely in its lack of concern for intricate power-games, feuds, sinister pacts with non-human powers, and control over others. Its aim is freedom for the spiritual warrior, rather than control over anyone or anything. [more]

Wildfires may permanently alter Australian landscape, scientists warn
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/wildfires-may-permanently-alter-australian-040616243.html

Scientists say the Australian landscape is being permanently altered by the nation’s wildfire crisis as a warming climate brings profound changes to the island continent.

Heat waves and drought have fuelled bigger and more frequent fires in parts of Australia, with some 40,000 square miles (104,000 square kilometres) scorched so far this fire season.

While blazes continue to rage in the country’s south-east, government officials are drawing up plans to re-seed burned areas to speed up forest recovery that could otherwise take decades or even centuries.

But some scientists and forestry experts doubt that reseeding and other intervention efforts can match the scope of the destruction. Since September, the fires have killed 28 people and burned more than 2,600 houses.

Before the recent wildfires, ecologists divided up Australia’s native vegetation into two categories: fire-adapted landscapes that burn periodically, and those that don’t burn. In the recent fires, that distinction lost meaning — even rainforests and peat swamps caught fire. [more]

Taal Volcano Update No 4: A larger eruption, which is increasingly expected, could conveniently cool the global climate and cause "A Year Without Summer."
    http://www.thebigwobble.org/2020/01/taal-volcano-update-no-4-larger.html

Philippine officials said Saturday they're bracing for a long crisis whether the Taal volcano erupts more disastrously or simmers precariously for weeks or months, as massive numbers of displaced villagers languish in emergency shelters. Health Secretary Francisco Duque III said more than 900 villagers who fell ill have been treated, mostly for exposure to volcanic ash, in evacuation sites since the volcano began erupting in Batangas province near Manila, the capital, last weekend. About 125,000 people fled from ash-blanketed villages and crammed into hundreds of emergency centres in Batangas alone and many others took shelter in relatives' homes, disaster-response officials said, appealing for masks, bottled water, portable toilets, food and sleeping mats."It's really massive because you're talking of more or less 100,000 evacuees in evacuation centres, so the infrastructure and services needed are really huge," Duque said.

"This is not going to be for the short term, but for the medium if not long term."

Sulfur dioxide is what causes the yellowish-brown pollution seen in the air after an eruption, and can be hazardous to people, plants and animals. When an eruption is big and strong enough to send massive amounts of it into the stratosphere, which starts about six miles above Earth, it turns into an aerosol that can be disbursed around the globe and reflect the sun's rays. "The more SO2 is emitted, the more likely it is that the eruption will impact climate," Simon Carn, a volcanologist at Michigan Technological University, told weather.com in an email Thursday. "The SO2 is critical because it converts over time into sulfate aerosol (small droplets of sulfuric acid and water), and it is these aerosol particles that reflect incoming solar radiation (sunlight) and reduce temperatures." https://www.sott.net/article/427624-Rep-Adam-Schiff-sued-by-physicians-for-censoring-vaccine-debate

On Jan 15, 2020, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, along with Katarina Verrelli, on behalf of herself and others who seek access to vaccine information, filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Plaintiffs allege that Defendant Adam Schiff has abused government power and infringed on their free-speech rights.

"Who appointed Congressman Adam Schiff as Censor-in-Chief?" asks AAPS General Counsel. "No one did, and he should not be misusing his position to censor speech on the internet."

In February and March 2019, Rep. Schiff contacted Google, Facebook, and Amazon, to encourage them to de-platform or discredit what Schiff asserted to be inaccurate information on vaccines. He then posted the letters and press release on the House.gov website.

Within 24 hours of Schiff's letter to Amazon dated Mar 1, 2019, Amazon removed the popular videos Vaxxed and Shoot 'Em Up: the Truth About Vaccines from its platform for streaming videos, depriving members of the public of convenient access.

“The stench was overwhelming – it stank that much it made you heave. It’s the dead fish, the rotting vegetation and the ash from the fires and maybe the fire retardant. The rumbling methane Enigma
    https://www.sott.net/article/427614-The-rumbling-methane-Enigma

Scientific opinion runs the gamut: (1) high risk- methane bursts will bury civilization with runaway global warming - a dreadful, deadly risk (2) not to worry, it's low risk because almost all of the massive deposits of undersea methane will stay put (3) not to worry, low risk because any methane seepage via undersea permafrost is oxidized and dissolves within the seawater and not a threat to runaway global warming.

Unfortunately, recent events in the high Arctic lean towards option number one as the more likely outcome. In that regard, I recently met with Dr. Peter Wadhams, world-renowned Arctic expert, to discuss the issue (more on that follows).

Does Chuck Schumer Have an AOC Problem?
    https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2020/01/schumer-aoc-trade-primary/605182

Amid talk of a primary challenge, the Senate Democratic leader cast a surprising vote against the USMCA trade deal, bucking most of his party.

The revised U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement, the trade deal which the Senate passed Thursday, drew the support of more than 80 percent of Democrats in Congress, handing President Donald Trump a signal bipartisan accomplishment.

Yet perhaps the most surprising vote came in opposition: Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who spurned a deal negotiated by his governing partner, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. [more; it's probably a bad deal anyway, they all seem to be]

  6. Hmm, it appears one comment got disappeared, according to your numbering, if you still have it and want to resend it. Also, I like that numbering stuff - that let me detect the missing comment immediately, whereas without that numbering, I'd never know. I checked spam and unapproved folders - nothing there. Sorry!

Police did not immediately announce any arrests or identify the body as they continued their investigation.

Heavy snow hampers search for missing S. Korean, Nepal trekkers
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/heavy-snow-hampers-search-missing-korean-nepal-trekkers-070434732.html

Avalanches, heavy snow and poor visibility hampered the search Sunday for four South Koreans and three Nepalis caught in an avalanche in the popular Annapurna region of the Himalayas, officials said

The missing group was near the Annapurna base camp around 3,230 metres (10,600 feet) above sea level when the avalanche struck after heavy snowfall on Friday.

"Our team reached the area but could not proceed with their search because of more avalanches. We are exploring ways to move the operation forward," said Mira Acharya from Nepal's tourism department. [more]

New flight-control problem crops up in 737 Max: Could it add to Boeing's delays and woes?
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/flight-control-problem-crops-boeing-013107088.html

Boeing has uncovered a new problem with the 737 Max, raising the possibility it could further delay the grounded jetliner's return to the air.

The new problem, disclosed Friday, involves a feature of the flight computer.

The trouble can occur as the flight computer is powered up. Software is supposed to be able to check on itself to make the system is glitch-free. If it detects a problem, it sends a message saying maintenance is required. But it was found that one of these monitors wasn't kicking in as it should.

Boeing is hoping it can fix the latest problem and at least two others that it has acknowledged, meaning it would add little or no time to the task of trying to get the 737 Max re-certified to carry passengers. At present, major operators of the 737 Max have pushed it's expected return back to June, though some observers think that time frame is optimistic.

  11. Is This The Death Knell For Nuclear?
    https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/death-knell-nuclear-200000585.html

It’s nearly impossible to discuss climate change and the future of the energy industry without discussing nuclear energy. Nuclear energy produces zero carbon emissions, it’s ultra-efficient, it’s already in widespread use, and could be scaled up to meet much more of our global energy needs with relative ease, but it is, and will likely always be, an extremely divisive solution.

For all its virtues, nuclear energy certainly has its fair share of drawbacks. It may not emit greenhouse gases, but what it does produce is deadly nuclear waste that remains radioactive for up to millions of years and we still don’t really know what to do with it other than hold onto it in ever-growing storage spaces. And then there are the horror stories that keep civilians and politicians alike wary if not outright antagonistic toward the technology. Chernobyl, Fukushima, and Three Mile Island loom large in our collective doomsday consciousness, and not without good reason.

Because of all of these reasons, as well as financial burden, nuclear energy has been on the decline in much of the world (with some notable exceptions in the nuclear-friendly administrations in China and Russia). This is not new news. Now, however, Chatham House, the UK's Royal Institution of International Affairs, has taken things a step further by taking the official stance that nuclear will never be a serious contender as a solution to catastrophic climate change.

As paraphrased by environmental news site EcoWatch, the energy experts at Chatham House “agreed that despite continued enthusiasm from the industry, and from some politicians, the number of nuclear power stations under construction worldwide would not be enough to replace those closing down.” The consensus was that this is nuclear’s swan song, and we are now unequivocally entering the era of wind and solar power.

These conclusions were arrived at during a summit convened to discuss the findings of the World Nuclear Industry Status Report 2019, which concluded that “money spent on building and running nuclear power stations was diverting cash away from much better ways of tackling climate change.” [more]
