Event Update For 2020-01-30

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. i drove down to Havre de Grace (insubstantial fog) to visit my son and check out Bomboy's Chocolates and the building damage it sustained when a woman drove into a portion of the deck by the rear of the building, causing some damage.

There's an alley just before the side parking lot for Bomboy's begins, and nobody seems able to explain why the woman went at such a high rate of speed over a 10" curb and destroyed the front of her car making the right, either into the parking lot, or maybe meaning to have turned at the alley, but were on their cell phone, nodded out (side effect of Ambien i've learned), or what.

The woman was NOT drunk or incoherent as far as i've been able to find (all second hand info, so who knows), but she'd HAVE to have been going over 30 to jump that curb and hit the back corner of the small deck. There are no skid marks! Her car was totaled and towed, it was said, but she sustained no injuries and refused a ride to the hospital (which is about 2 blocks away).

The building incurred mainly cosmetic damage, except for the Trex boards and all the (plastic) trim that will have to be replaced.

Photo Of The Day: Mysterious Purple cloud appears over my house and moves from West to North: I'm sure it's not Aurora Borealis or Airglow can anyone tell me what it is?

This picture was taken last night by a photographer friend of mine, Patrick Sinot, it shows what can only be described as a purple aura above the houses the direction of the aura is West. Patrick sent me the photo's asking me if I knew what it could be. My first reaction was it could be Aurora Borealis as there was a small solar storm last night but then I realised Holland is too far South anyway to see the Aurora Borealis. My next thought was airglow, but when I checked, I realised airglow is red or green and not purple so, no airglow.

I live across a field from Patrick's house and my garden faces West, so I decided to check out the purple cloud my self but it wasn't there, it had moved almost 90deg and was now in the North, so I took some snaps of my own, not the same quality as Patrick's though, see below.

Someone jokingly suggested it was the Coronavirus. If any of you geeks out there can explain to Patrick and me what we witnessed last night we will be forever in your debt.
