Event Update For 2018-12-06

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2018-12-06 - Mystery gas(es) baffle the town of Louisa (Virginia):

Quote: "Investigators continued to puzzle this week over how smells and dangerous levels of gas turned up in the air in the town of Louisa, and possibly in the public water supply. The town and the Louisa County Water Authority released a statement Tuesday pointing to natural gas and methane as possible culprits in the Nov. 29 water scare. Officials also suggested a build-up of sewer gas could have been at fault."

Quote: "The focus of the past week has been on the town’s water, but Jim Moore, Virginia Health Department Office of Drinking Water field director, cautioned that no gas was ever identified in water. 'We never got any confirmation it was in the water, although the circumstantial evidence suggests it was,' he said. 'I don’t think they had the capacity to detect it in the water.'"

Quote: "Firefighters found gas in the air, using a device called a four-gas detector that is designed to pick up hints of butane, propane, natural gas or methane. They presumed it was coming from nearby water. They initially detected gas in a drain inside Walgreens, on East Main Street, and later near a fire hydrant. Gas readings also rose after they turned on the water in a sink."

Quote: "Greenland's massive ice sheets contain enough water to raise global sea levels by 23 feet, and a new study shows that they are melting at a rate 'unprecedented' over centuries -- and likely thousands of years. The study, published Thursday in the scientific journal Nature, found that Greenland's ice loss accelerated rapidly in the past two decades after remaining relatively stable since the dawn of the Industrial Revolution in the mid-1800s. Today, Greenland's ice sheets are melting at a rate 50% higher than pre-industrial levels and 33% above 20th-century levels, the scientists found."

2018-12-06 - After two years of mammoth wildfires, Californians now in danger from mudslides and landslides:

  1. Sorry about my confusion, Jonny. One of these days i'll learn how to post comments on the correct day . ..

Meanwhile, we have more and more medical emergencies causing accidents and close-calls. We have noxious gases pervading towns and cities. The die-off continues (including humans, but nobody n authority wants to acknowledge that) decreasing potential food sources. Also not being discussed by the msm is the situation in the Arctic, which grows more dire by the day. We just breached 408 ppm atmospheric CO2 concentration. 2019 is going to be very "interesting" to say the least.

Carbon dioxide emissions at all-time high

[in embedded article Carbon emissions are about to hit an all-time high, find this quote]

Cars are becoming as big of a threat to the climate as coal-fired power. The transportation sector is now the largest source of carbon dioxide emissions in the United States, and has been for two years. European countries are seeing similar patterns. [more]

Dow plunges for third straight day on weak jobs report and renewed trade tensions [(phony) unemployment rate remained steady at 3.7%]

“Panic-like selling” grips Wall Street as the economic numbers point to “a lot of unpleasant things that nobody wants to admit”

Fear is spreading like wildfire on Wall Street, and on Friday we witnessed yet another wave of panic selling. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell another 559 points, closing at 24,389. Previously I had warned that once we solidly broke through 25,000 that it could trigger an avalanche of panic selling, and that is precisely what has happened. The Dow is now down more than 9 percent from the peak in early October, but the S&P 500 is doing even worse. The S&P 500 is now down 10.2 percent from the September peak, and that means that it is officially in correction territory. It has now been two solid months, and the sell-off on Wall Street shows no signs of abating. [more]

  2. You Can't Warn Greed. Fortunately.

This week, all of the "bullish" factors cited by perma-bulls as catalyst for a Santa Rally came to pass - OPEC deal, weak jobs report, dovish Fed, 48 hour trade truce etc.

And yet, for all that, the casino ended right back at the October lows. I can't speak for anyone else, but as a perma-bear, I sleep very well at night knowing that this gong show is ending sooner rather than later.

    Seismic activity - 12/07/2018

    Earthquakes today

    [here's a "happy" headline]
NSIDC: Arctic freeze-up well underway, November snow cover over North America most extensive since 1966 [uh - that's not the Arctic]

The Arctic freeze-up season is well underway, with ice extent increasing faster than average for most regions in November. Exceptions were in the Chukchi and Barents Seas, where the ice has been slow to form. Meanwhile, November snow cover over North America was the most extensive since 1966, the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) reported in their analysis released December 4, 2018.
