Event Update For 2018-12-03

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. Just as you predicted, Jonny, the CH4 and H2S gases are increasingly effecting life and causing problems that the media and powers that be keep quiet about (until it becomes OBVIOUS). Exploding homes and underground electrical junctions; pervasive "medical issues" including those that close or evacuate schools and office buildings and cause accidents while driving all manner of vehicles; cars, trucks boats and planes burning (or causing emergency situations); die-offs of all species of life; and more are all being caused by these two gases, but we never hear about it EXCEPT HERE, where the truth is told.

    Let's look around.

Iran Again Threatens To Block Key Oil Transit Choke Point As U.S. Aircraft Carrier En Route

Here we go again: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has once more threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz, which is vital to up to one-third of all global oil shipping as it's a key transit choke point in the Persian Gulf.

On Tuesday Iranian state broadcasts carried his words, saying “if someday, the United States decides to block Iran’s oil (exports), no oil will be exported from the Persian Gulf.” He further vowed that the United States will not be able to prevent Iran from exporting its crude — something the White House has repeatedly pledged to take down to zero exports through international allies and economic blockade through sanctions. Hailstorms cut swath across wheatbelt crops in Western Australia

Farmers are counting the cost of hail storms, heavy rain and strong winds that tore through the central Wheatbelt on Monday afternoon.

The wild weather event, which stretched across areas including Bolgart and North Tammin to Southern Cross, in places dumped more than 40mm of rain, while crops were pelted with 3cm hailstones and lightning strikes caused spot fires.

At Tammin, WAFarmers president Tony York said his family's 1300ha wheat crop, yet to be harvested, had varying levels of hail damage. About 300ha of that was destroyed.

He said neighbours had reported similar destruction.

At Bolgart, Trevor Syme returned from fighting fires caused by lightning on a neighbouring property to find more 1000ha of his crop had been hit by hail.

He said 500ha of canola and lupins was wiped out. A further 600ha of Mr Syme's wheat is expected to have about 60 per cent damage. [more]

  4. “Our leaders are behaving like children” school strike founder tells UN climate summit – Greta Thunberg, 15, tells summit that students are acting in absence of global leadership

Action to fight global warming is coming whether world leaders like it or not, school student Greta Thunberg has told the UN climate change summit, accusing them of behaving like irresponsible children.
Thunberg began a solo climate protest by striking from school in Sweden in August 2018. But more than 20,000 students around the world have now joined her. The school strikes have spread to at least 270 towns and cities in countries across the world, including Australia, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the US, and Japan.
“For 25 years countless people have come to the UN climate conferences begging our world leaders to stop emissions and clearly that has not worked as emissions are continuing to rise. So I will not beg the world leaders to care for our future,” she said. “I will instead let them know change is coming whether they like it or not.”

“Since our leaders are behaving like children, we will have to take the responsibility they should have taken long ago,” she said. “We have to understand what the older generation has dealt to us, what mess they have created that we have to clean up and live with. We have to make our voices heard.” [more]

  5. Somebody Pressed The Panic Button On Wall Street – Bank Stocks And Tech Stocks Crash As The Yield Curve Inverts

Stocks aren’t supposed to crash in December. Most of the time we see a nice “Santa Claus rally” to close out the year, and so what happened on Tuesday is definitely extremely unusual. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 799 points, which was the fourth largest single day point decline in stock market history. In fact, there was not a single day during the entire financial crisis of 2008 when the Dow dropped by as many points as it did on Tuesday. Many believed that this “stock market correction” would be limited to October, but then it stretched into November, and now it has extended into the “safe month” of December. What in the world is going on out there?

It would be difficult to overstate the carnage that we just witnessed. The Russell 2000 had its worst day in seven years, financial stocks plunged 4.4 percent, and as you will see below FAANG stocks lost enough money to literally buy McDonald’s. [more]

    BUYER BEWARE: Violent Deflation

What is John Kelly doing these days, hiding under his desk? [more]

On 60 Minutes Chief Pimlott describes the rapid rate of spread of the Camp Fire

This is a 1 minute clip from a piece on Sunday’s edition of 60 Minutes in which Ken Pimlott, Chief of CAL FIRE, describes how the Camp Fire was growing during its first burning period at “one football field per second”. I assume he means it was consuming 1.3 acres per second which is the size of an American football field, rather than the rate of spread of the flaming front. The video shows one of those cool sand tables with a computer projection of a spreading wildfire. [more]

  6. Hmmm, yeah, something wrong with comments at the moment, Tom. I didn't even get the third one this morning, and the one where you mentioned it, I hit publish but it didn't do so. At least I did get that one in my email, so I'm gonna repost that one myself right here:

    From Tom:

very strange: I posted a third comment this morning but didn't see it published, so I re-posted it after class and it's STILL not posted - is something about the content causing this or is the same comment, sent TWICE, somehow disappearing for some unknown reason?]

Seven missing after U.S. military aircraft 'mishap' off Japan

Search and rescue efforts were under way off Japan after two U.S. Marine Corps aircraft crashed in a still-unexplained mishap, leaving seven U.S. military personnel missing, U.S. officials told Reuters on Wednesday.

The aircraft had launched from Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni and were conducting regularly scheduled training when there was a "mishap," the Marine Corps said. [more; thanks for all that info!]

More on methane emissions at the North Pole

This is a fairly impressive 'mea culpa' from Joe Neubarth. There is a recogition all around as to what this MAY be.

“I am on record as having said that I do not believe in the possibility of a near term massive methane release as Guy McPherson projected. Right now, it looks like I am wrong and he is right. [more; includes the following]

Meanwhile there has been another sizable quake near the Pole.

Burned Out Offerings To Global Capitalism

The final victory of global capitalism will attend the total loss of faith in "the system", a process well advanced since 2008. Trump wouldn't be the clown-in-chief if it wasn't. Those who still have faith in the system are just the last ones to figure out they got used up...

What an economic depression represents is a loss of faith in the system. An unwillingness to engage economically for fear of further loss, be that of capital or time. Why invest in further skills if there is no market for them? Why invest if there is no demand? Today we see this loss of faith is well advanced in collapsing labor participation rates across all age groups. Under the current model, the hardest working people get paid the least. All surplus return from productivity is siphoned off to capital. Good jobs are constantly swapped out with low paying, low benefit junk jobs. Decades of hard fought benefits for workers were all rolled back in the most recent era, as if they never existed in the first place. A round trip to robber baron capitalism of the 1930s. [more]

  7. Well, at least that worked. Checked the spam and unpublished directories for your missing post - not there. Nothing I can do about that one. Clearly something is not working right today. Hopefully whatever is screwed up will be corrected by tomorrow!

  8. The methane release looks enormous - like what Shakova said could happen at any time some years ago. I wonder if "they" are trying to keep a lid on it.
