Event Update For 2018-10-01

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

http://www.facebook.com/WTKR3/posts/10155820696436146

Quote: "According to a spokesperson with the Administration and Operations division of the Norfolk Airport Authority, the plane landed around 8:05 a.m. due to a passenger who was experiencing a medical event. The passenger was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Shortly thereafter, two other passengers complained of unrelated symptoms and were also taken to the hospital."

Quote: "According to Steve Sterling, the media contact for the Norfolk Airport Authority, the plane was flying from Newark, New Jersey to the Dominican Republic when a passenger fell ill while in the air, which prompted the emergency landing around 8 a.m. The passenger was taken to a local hospital. JetBlue assigned the different aircraft to take the remaining passengers to the Dominican Republic, but while the passengers were waiting, two more fell ill. Both were taken to a local hospital too. The illnesses of the passengers do not appear to be connected, according to Sterling."

Note: Somehow three people sickening on the same plane just doesn't seem like an unrelated coincidence to me...

  1. See what you think of this HS football death. I'm not sure this was head injury related. It is rather bizarre whether it's JJFH related or not....

    1. Yeah, I saw that too - they couldn't determine how he got injured. So I dunno, maybe brain damage via JJFH? No way to know, just too little information, but athletes suddenly and mysteriously dropping dead with brain problems of some kind - that's at least suspicious.

  2. Hey Jonny, Mike, Fran, Tom N and LL (any other readers included).

My computer got replaced at school (after I complained about it), but I had a meeting on my morning break and then had to set it all up with favorites and all, check school e-mail and respond (which I wasn't able to do before) so my comment has been delayed today.

First up, the stats for the month for garbage truck fires and Hull JJFH events

There were 8 garbage truck fires (4 on the 24th!) over 5 days, and they all occurred over a 10 day span in September. In fact September had the LATEST day for the 1st g/t fire BY 11 DAYS over the previous month holding the record (March 7th) this year. The four truck-fires on the 24th of Sept. is 2nd place to the 5 garbage trucks going up in flames also on the 7th of March. Very strange that.

In Hull we had 25 JJFH incidents over 17 days, with 4 occurring on the 28th of September. There were lots of short bursts of mostly 2 days in a row, but one span of 3 days in a row of JJFH events at the end of the month.

Garbage truck fires coincided with Hull JJFH events on 2 occasions (9 days apart).

Rainfall tallies plummet after Australia’s driest September on record – “Below average rainfall covered almost the entire country”
    http://www.desdemonadespair.net/2018/10/rainfall-tallies-plummet-after.html

Australia has notched its driest September on record, with less than a third of the usual rainfall for the month, extending the dry spell that has farmers and firefighters increasingly desperate for rain.
Victoria posted its second driest September, also collecting just a third of its typical September rain.

NSW also had another dry month, with less than half the normal rain, bringing the state's year-to-date tally lower than any year but 1902 and 1965, according to Blair Trewin, senior climatologist at the Bureau of Meteorology.

"Below average rainfall covered almost the entire country" last month, Dr Trewin said, adding that it pipped 1957 as the driest September, and trailed only April 1902 as the driest for any month.

Japan, South Korea on alert for Super Typhoon Kong-rey – Ninth tropical system to make landfall in Japan in 2018
    http://www.desdemonadespair.net/2018/10/japan-south-korea-on-alert-for-super.html

On the heels of deadly Typhoon Trami, Japan will face another dangerous typhoon this week.

Super Typhoon Kong-rey is currently the equivalent of a Category 5 major hurricane in the Atlantic and east Pacific and will remain a dangerous tropical cyclone in the coming days.

A northwest track through Thursday will take this dangerous tropical cyclone toward the Ryukyu Islands, which are still reeling from damaging winds in excess of 160 km/h (100 mph) from Trami last weekend.

Where structures have been left weakened and the ground saturated by Trami, a blow by Kong-rey less than a week later would further heighten the risk of damage and flooding. Residents who evacuated or lost power during Trami may face the same struggles again with Kong-rey.

Miyako and Okinawa are expected to face the worst of Kong-rey's impacts which will include damaging winds and torrential rainfall. Wind gusts over 160 km/h (100 mph) will again be possible during the worst of the storm. […]

If Kong-rey makes landfall in mainland Japan, it will be the ninth tropical system and potentially the eighth typhoon to do so this year. [more]

After Dozens of Gas Explosions, a Community Looks for Alternatives to Natural Gas
    https://insideclimatenews.org/news/02102018/natural-gas-pipeline-explosion-massachusetts-home-heat-pump-district-heating-electricity-solar

Nearly 9,000 homes will be without heat for weeks after explosions linked to a failing pipeline. The company is offering to help people leave natural gas entirely.

Residents who relied on gas to heat their homes and cook their food won't have service again until mid-November at the earliest, according to Columbia Gas of Massachusetts. The company has 48 miles of pipeline to replace, and industry experts question whether it can meet even that timeline.

Environmental advocates say it's time to completely rethink the communities' energy systems. [more]

[UK] Farm survey highlights the impact of extreme weather on crop yields
    http://www.edp24.co.uk/business/farming/nfu-2018-harvest-survey-results-1-5720481

The extreme weather contrasts of 2018 brought an unpredictable harvest for farmers with many crop yields falling well below long-term averages, says an industry survey.

    Key statistics include:
    • Wheat yield: 7.7 tonnes per hectare (t/ha) – down 6% on the five-year average (8.2t/ha) and the lowest yield since 2013 (7.4t/ha).
    • Winter barley: 6.8t/ha – down 2% on the five year average at 6.9t/ha.
    • Spring barley: 5.2t/ha – down 10% on the five year average at 5.8t/ha and lowest yield since 2012 (5.0t/ha).
    • Oilseed rape: 3.6t/ha – slightly above the five year average of 3.5t/ha.

The NFU said the varied results, after a year of extreme weather conditions and unpredictable prices, demonstrate the need for the government to implement measures in its post-Brexit policies to help build resilience and combat volatility in the farming industry. A week’s missing data on methane emissions in the Arctic
    http://robinwestenra.blogspot.com/2018/10/very-warm-conditions-in-arctic-10022018.html

Thanks to Margo we know that there has been a week’s missing data on CAMS while at the same is true for NOAA data from the EU Metop-1 and Met-op 2 satellites

Now the data is up on CAMS for both Friday, 28th and Saturday 29th (but not for the days since or the days preceding).

Given how they manage data for other emissions one really does have to wonder if the data is being manipulated and what the missing data may have shown. [more]

  5. G'day Everyone,

Things are ramping up on many fronts you'd have to say ? It's been remarked upon by you guys at times the under-reporting, however one might express it, of the temperature. The Bureau of Meteorology here in OZ have been telling us we're currently getting mild spring temperatures, like 70 or so degrees, on days when it's already feeling like bloody hot summer days. It's telling that the need is seen to falsify this kind of information. The UV has been remarked upon here in your comment section as well. I was going to the beach for a surf early in the mornings regularly through the winter and my skin could get singed after only 20 minutes when the temperature was only in the 60s. That's a bit of a worry. With an El Nino likely heading our way it's shaping up to be a harrowing summer I expect. We're in the firing line for massive wildfires ( which can and do happen around the perimeter of Sydney City proper ) and gruelling temperatures. Lots of people have already been decimated by the drought which has a hold on most of the country. But lots of people all over the world already have been, or are being, clobbered I know, it's just shaping up to impact us city dwellers here in Sydney and elsewhere around the country as well in the coming weeks and months with the heat and UV. Oh joy. I am going to get a nice little thermometer for myself to monitor my "comfort" levels.

It was interesting for me to note in an article I read somewhere that 90% of the ice in the world is in Antartica - I think I've got that right. Things are changing very rapidly down there and it's not getting much coverage. It's a lot more remote than the Arctic and a lot less is known about that part of the world I think it would be fair to say. Although John Kerry was supposedly down there around the time that President Trump was elected so maybe he could fill us in on a few details we're unaware of - strange goings on. It's a ginormous continent, covered in ice which is rapidly melting, and is going to have a whopping impact on our delicate little human habitat. Never a dull moment right !?

Stay Cool Everyone and All The Best,
    Tom N. in Oz.

    1. G'day, Tom in Oz, glad you're still alive! I guess you all are about due for the summer fire season, on top of that horrible drought. Seems like whatever California gets then Australia gets something like it six months later, and vice versa.

That high UV Sun is too much for me, so I altered my schedule to be more vampire-like. And I wouldn't be surprised iff they're downplaying the temps, UV levels, everything they can downplay.

But yeah, never a dull moment!
