Event Update For 2018-07-19

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

The Earth is tightening the noose around us all, him no less than anyone else. Does he have a clue that death is stalking him just like everyone else? Most people are completely oblivious about what's going on and he's in that population. He'll probably drop dead one day after his heart stops, or they'll find him dead in bed or something, and it'll be called a 'medical event' or 'natural causes'. Or maybe he'll be 'lucky' and live long enough to see some of his loved ones drop dead or burn to death before he dies himself. Time will tell! Here's a Google Maps link of this area...

  1. Info about the JJFH forums:

Just found out yesterday that ZetaBoards got bought by TapaTalk and they're going to be transferring all Zeta message boards over to TapaTalk. The location of the new forum, when that happens, is:

They haven't done it yet. I guess when it's done, the Zeta forums will be gone. In theory, messages and user accounts will be transferred over.

There are some differences with the interface and stuff, but forum software is forum software, so that's not a big deal. Really, I only have two concerns:

    1) When I set the Zeta forums up, I explicitly made it not require people to use a valid email address. TapaTalk doesn't allow that, but you might be okay anyway if you're grandfathered in. I hesitate to ask them that question, because then they might go, 'Oh yeah, we weren't gonna force that on grandfathered people because we didn't think of it, but now that you mention it, we will!' So if you used a fake email address on Zeta, I dunno what'll happen once the conversion is done. Worst case, you could always create a one-off gmail account and use that to create a new account on TapaTalk, if you don't want to use your normal email for whatever reason. That's out of my control, how they handle that with the user account transfer.

    2) Not sure the bbcode stuff I used on Zeta to display graphics will work there, so could be my old posts on Zeta will suddenly look like crap. Again, out of my control, and I'll just have to adapt going forward regardless of how the conversion works.

Anyway, I didn't want anyone to freak out when the Zeta forums disappear. They're really just relocating with some different software. Somewhat annoying, I know. I'd hoped Zeta would last until the end so I wouldn't have to deal with such hassles, but such is life I guess.

    1. I'm so clueless in that I didn't realize there was more than one JJFH forum.

  2. I hope I won't have to resort to the zetaboards to comment again.
It's a great back-up plan, but it's much easier to just post here.

Leaving for coastal CA early tomorrow morning, should be there by dinner time. I may have posting problems (it's happened before). The weather here in PA is predicted to be 9 straight days of rain (there go my tomatoes; the bunnies already ate my beans and what was supposed to be my 2nd lettuce crop; the hot spell we had last month ruined my spinach & beets; cucumbers, melon and squash still going).

Dr. Doom Marc Faber: Trade war to accelerate decline of US empire as China and India dominance grows

According to Faber, the US is likely to be the biggest loser from the trade war it started. "The winners in a real trade war would be everyone except the US. The Europeans would trade more with Asia, and the Asians would trade more with Europe than the US. There would be more trade between the emerging economies and China and vice versa," Faber said. Italian interior minister schools deluded US journalist on Crimea unification and Ukraine's foreign backed coup

When Washington Post journalist Lally Weymouth confronted Salvini with the apparently provocative question of whether or not he supports Russia's "annexation" of Crimea, Salvini pointed out that there was actually a referendum, prompting her to claim it was "fake."

In response, Salvini noted that it was just the journalist's subjective "point of view." "There was a referendum, and 90 percent of the people voted for the return of Crimea to the Russian Federation," the Italian interior minister said.

Weymouth then implied that the referendum was illegitimate due to the presence of some Russian forces on the peninsula at that time. Salvini replied that what was indeed illegitimate was the change of power in Kiev at that time, which he called a "pseudo-revolution funded by foreign powers," just like the unrest in the Middle East, known as the Arab Spring revolutions. 4. St. Louis overall isn't the greatest place to live. But I like my particular neighborhood. It's like a block off the beaten path, and there's no reason for people to come here, so people don't. It's not a very poor area, but there are definitely no rich people in this area - just bland, boring, quiet, peaceful middle-class types.

There was one murder here like 15 years ago. I was going to the nearby filling station at 2 AM around that time, and apparently I fit the general description of the suspect, so cops stopped me. They asked my height - average. My weight - average. My hair color - brown. My eye color - brown. I mean, I fit the general description of a LOT of people. So they asked me if I had any identifying scars or tattoos. I felt like I'd let them down by being so nondescript, so I wanted to give them SOMETHING, so I replied, 'Well, I was circumcised, if that counts!' Hah, they were not amused, but I'd done nothing wrong, so they let me go.
