Event Update For 2018-07-04

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. Geez, Jonny - the signs are all around us now, getting worse by the day. When clothes on a rack in an upscale store burst into flames (it seems that the man in the pic was sliding hangers to see the clothes and that may have sparked the adsorbed H2S or CH4 into flame), a trash chute fire, many PARKED vehicles go up in flames simultaneously, kids die right outside their home for no apparent reason, and so many people keep dying in and around water - it's time to WAKE UP (,and die,) PEOPLE! Lots of other noticeable events listed here ALSO cause one to pause in disbelief (like the steady decline in marine life - especially whales, and all the weather related deaths from heat and flooding).

If this keeps up, my August 2019 prediction (of everyone knowing how bad things are) may arrive later THIS year.

[Let's check around and see what's goin' down today so far.]

A new study based on evidence from past warm periods suggests global warming may be double what is forecast

Future global warming may eventually be twice as warm as projected by climate models and sea levels may rise six metres or more even if the world meets the 2°C target, according to an international team of researchers from 17 countries. [more]

UK heatwave: Welsh farmers 'fighting to survive'

The weeks of scorching weather follow heavy snow storms in late winter.

the weather could have an "unprecedented" impact on the dairy industry.

"We've heard of farmers who are already using their winter supplies of fodder to feed livestock and with fodder already at a premium this could become a real problem later in the year."

Aled Rees, who runs an organic dairy farm in north Pembrokeshire, said in 20 years of farming he had never experienced conditions like it. [more]

Something massive struck Uranus claims new paper

You might be aware of one of Uranus' complexities: It spins on its side, and its moons orbit on that same rotated plane. New evidence strengthens the case that Uranus was smashed in a giant collision, resulting in its sideways orientation to its orbital plane and perhaps explaining some of the planet's other mysteries. What enrages me the most about Globalization is the sense of entitlement. The incapacity to understand that "they" do all of the things we used to do, but at ten cents on the dollar. And the accompanying failure to acknowledge the price to be paid for Globalization having lowered the world's standard of living, even as we were told that it was doing the opposite. [more]

Traces of 'sonic boom' meteorites found in ocean off Washington State

On March 7, three National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) weather stations detected the fall of a meteorite about 15.5 miles (25 kilometers) off the coast of Washington state. "The fall was widely seen around local areas and widely heard around local areas - it came with some loud sonic booms," Marc Fries, the cosmic dust curator for NASA, told Live Science.

Fries estimated this fall might yield about 4,400 lbs. (2,000 kilograms) of meteorites. He also calculated the largest meteorite might weigh about 9.7 lbs. (4.4 kg) and have a diameter of about 5 inches (12 centimeters).

"This is the largest meteorite fall I've seen in 20-plus years of radar data," Fries said. [more]

Heat wave breaks records in Iran, across the Caucasus

Earlier in the week, on July 1, temperatures hit a record 43 degrees in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku, prompting heavy use of air-conditioning that the government said caused an explosion at a hydroelectric power plant and a nationwide power outage.

It was the worst power outage since Azerbaijani independence from the Soviet Union in 1991.

A day later, temperatures soared to a record high 42 degrees in Armenia's capital, Yerevan, while Iran experienced its hottest July temperature ever -- 53 degrees -- causing misery and power shortages and prompting the government to change work hours in Tehran to save electricity. [more]

U.S. economy adds more jobs than expected in June

The big story in Friday’s report, however, was the increase in labor force participation, which rose from 62.7% in May to 62.9% in June. This uptick in people joining the workforce — there were 601,000 new entrants to the labor force in June — pushed up the unemployment rate. [more; seems to be more good news]

Missing 411? Woman presumed dead after being swept out to sea found 18 months later wearing the same clothes

An Indonesian family has been left stunned after a relative they watched being swept out to sea turned up alive on the same beach - 18 months later.

Nining Sunarsih, 53, was presumed dead by authorities when she was washed away by a large wave in West Java in January last year.

But her body was never recovered and her family never gave up hope of finding her alive - before the seemingly miraculous happened.

On Saturday her family say they went back to the same beach after her father began having mysterious dreams and found her lying unconscious on the sand, wearing the same clothes as on the night she vanished. [more]

Ryker Gamble, Alexey Lyakh and Megan Scraper — members of the High on Life channel — fell on Tuesday. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) aided in a major search.
According to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, witnesses said Scraper fell from rocks at the top of the waterfall and was pulled by a strong current. Gamble and Lyakh then reportedly jumped into the water in a failed attempt to rescue her. The RCMP said in a release: “The individuals were with a group of friends when they slipped and fell into a pool 30 meters [98 feet] below.” [more; day hah on life aight . . ]

    Instant Depression. Just Add Panic.

This week, safe haven recession stocks "led" (Utilities and Consumer Staples). Which means there is no place left to hide...

Where this all went wrong is the belief in the Darwinian society. First the strong preyed on the weak, then they preyed on everyone else. Now, there's no one left to be consumed. Ignorance is bliss, until it's not. The less one knows about the world, the more one has been insulated from the machinations taking place over the past decade to keep the Globalized clusterfuck from imploding. Everything from printing trillions in new money to paying people to borrow money. After 2008, Japanification went global: The overriding compulsion by an aging society to do everything possible to maintain the illusion of the status quo.

    At any cost.

Accelerated aging included. These denialists living in their dystopian Disneyland are forced to constantly reconcile the lies they are told versus the reality they are seeing. It's cognitive dissonance on steroids, washed down with a bucket of Faux News bullshit. The non-stop game of fake-believe takes its toll.
