Event Update For 2018-07-10

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

    Ponzi Reflation Has Ended

When OPEC/Non-OPEC members cut oil production in early 2017, it confounded oil industry skeptics. However, it didn't confound whomever was front-running the futures market the entire time...

Now however, the entire "process" is going in reverse, featuring an increase in OPEC oil production, and a drop in futures positioning, which peaked several months ago.

Going back to the production cut, the oil futures market and oil futures positioning bottomed out almost a year prior to the actual production cut. Even as the broader oil community was skeptical, "someone" else had 100% conviction. The lesson learned is that one should never bet against someone who controls the outcome of the game.

Subsequent to the bottom in crude prices, and futures positioning, both peaked when the actual agreement took effect in January 2017. Next, the market and positioning drifted lower, until the agreement was renewed in May 2017, after which both shot higher. That latter part of the rally was concurrent with respect to positioning. Then, earlier this year, in February, oil positioning (red) rolled over. Well ahead of when OPEC announced they were increasing production, three weeks ago.

Apart from demand-side impacts from trade wars, now we know why the oil futures got decimated today.[more]

  5. That was enjoyable, Mike - but I know what you mean (it wasn't for him - he was PISSED, and I don't blame him), and i'll have to explain what I meant by enjoyable. Hambone has a particular accent and patois that makes me smile, but boy, when he gets angry - he doesn't fuck around! What was enjoyable about it was the manner in which he raked the whole border patrol bullies over the coals, but then went on to indict the whole police state of the world now. Let me tell you how that ties in to me.

My grandson, after wasting 10k on his first year of "education" - which turned out to be mindless repetition of topics he already understood, but was REQUIRED to take, decided to take a different tack. He researched a way out and is actively in the process of moving to France to continue his education while being employed (he already has the job, housing, food and his first semester paid for this fall). You know what the problem is? THE FUCKING FRENCH EMBASSY!

He was required to submit his passport, working papers, i.d. and a airline ticket to them, back in late June, for "processing." He complied and has been ready to go since then!

Then it was one more thing. He needed a document submitted by his employer in France, got that and drove down to D.C. to give it to them three days ago, but they wouldn't even let him in the building! They don't answer the phone, or emails. He left them a self-addressed priority return envelope the first time he was there, but no tracking of it has occurred - so his papers are just sitting on some shithead's desk, being ignored. He paid a woman from an "expediting" agency to walk the goddamned document over and hand it to them, then backed that up by sending an e-copy of it by email to the embassy.

Apparently his employer thinks he has some say in the matter, because when my grandson told him of the dilemma, the man called and spoke to someone in charge, who blatantly LIED to the guy about how my boy would have the papers by YESTERDAY, which of course didn't happen. Not today either.

Now here's the shitty part. Every time they delay sending his papers and stamped passport back, he has to extend his plane ticket by a week or so FOR $100! Yeah, EACH TIME! He's already up to half a grand and still no papers. Talk about frustration!

We think, because of Trump, they're messing with Americans to be petty. (in a faux French accent) OH - HO mey wee, eel-lay for me dabblet! C'est une honte (that's such a shame)!

So Hambone is RIGHT - it's happening all over the place, but JUST FOR WHITE PEOPLE. The fucking migrants are freely accepted and given everything. Well, as we've seen, Europe is finally waking up. It's about god-damn time!

  6. [how about some amazing news?]
'Stateless' boy who emerged as leader in Thailand cave was key to rescue

The British divers who found the boys also had a helper inside the cave: a student who was able to take a leadership role by translating for them. Staff at his school told CBS News' Anna Werner that's not surprising. He's a boy who has already faced significant challenges in his life and overcome them.

Teacher Kru Nice says 14-year-old Adun Sam-On has always been a leader, despite the fact he doesn't have his parents with him or even an official home.
Since Adun's parents slipped him out of Myanmar eight years ago to escape the ethnic conflicts there, he's become one of many students at this school considered "stateless." He's not a citizen of any country. Yet in Thailand, Adun is a top student and a standout athlete.

Kru said she was so worried when she learned Adun was trapped in the cave. But Adun's proficiency in languages – he speaks four – proved key inside the cave, as he acted as a translator for the British divers during the complicated rescue. [see embedded story below]

Thai Airways is providing round-trip tickets and an all-expenses-paid weeklong trip for all of the international volunteers who worked on the rescue. The tourism authority is also giving them all a five-year visa. [more; hey, what if the British rescuers had been held up by bureaucratic bullshit?]

Final group was pulled from Thai cave just before water pump malfunction

"Well, three of the SEALs, there's four of them back there, three of them made their way into chamber three and about the same time we got the word that the pumps that had been running nonstop shut off for an unknown reason and the water levels back in chamber three started rising which would have cut off our access back to chambers two, one and then out of the cave. And that's an abort criteria for our guys and so when that water level started rising everybody started grabbing their kid and they were ready to get out. Thankfully that last SEAL popped up at the last moment and everyone was able to get out of chamber three safely and make their way out and mission complete," Hodges said. [more]
