Event Update For 2018-05-08

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

What Does Eric Schneiderman's Resignation Mean for N.Y.'s Exxon Probe and Environment Lawsuits?

The New York attorney general was the public face of a wide range of climate and environment cases, but other AGs and a team of lawyers are pushing forward the work. [more]

    RepubliCon Job

It's one thing to con other people, it's quite another level of dumbfuck to con oneself. The prevailing belief right now is that Trump's tax cuts prolonged the expansion. Unfortunately, the inconvenient truth is that they did the exact opposite - they shortened it. What we've seen in the past year is a full court press by every con man available. And they did a good job, to be sure...

How long does it take for the Republican Party to admit that their Supply Side policies are a failure? More than thirty-eight years, we know that much. For decades they've run game against their own base of demented hillbillies - outsourcing jobs and industries, expanding immigration, plundering the treasury, deregulating Wall Street and invading every evil-doer nation known to man.

Now however it's a little different - this time the joke is on those propagating this contrivance. I've read nothing from anyone in the lamestream or anywhere else pointing the finger at Supply Side Ponzinomics. Go figure. I can't find anyone who admits that a tax cut ten years into an expansion amid rising interest rates, is the dumbest fucking idea ever tried. Which is saying something. [more]

Increase of plant species on mountain tops is accelerating with global warming

A large international research team has not only ascertained a considerable increase in the number of plant species on 302 European mountain peaks over the past 150 years; they have also found that this increase is accelerating. Moreover, it is certain that this development is linked to rises in temperatures; changes in precipitation and nitrogen input could not explain the increase. [more]

  4. Yes, that's right, five buses. I counted all five of them though, but I do the school buses separately so you probably didn't notice that I already counted that one (bus fire #287) before I did the other four (bus fires #288-#291). Still, if something looks inaccurate, for whatever reason, keep saying something, cuz sometimes I do screw up!

  5. Wow! That's freaky about all the female NCAA tournament golf players and coaches getting sick. The University of Texas golf club is just a few miles from Lake Travis, which is the Colorado River dammed up. The club is not only close to the lake, but inside a bend of the river. You can see it on the map here:

Of course recently a man went missing on Lake Travis.

  6. Hmm, yeah, I see - that place is pretty much surrounded by water. I'm skeptical of that 'virus' explanation too. That many people sickened that seriously in that short a period of time. If there was a virus there that was that serious and that infectious, they'd have seen a lot MORE people getting sickened, and the sickness would still be spreading. Maybe they didn't eat at the same place, but maybe they did all SHOWER in the same place, using water from the same water source. Or maybe they all smelled something 'sweet' or 'flowery' and assumed it WAS flowers when it actually wasn't. I dunno, but that looks more like an environmental cause than a viral cause.

  7. Great work on this blog Jonny! And kudos to you Tom for all the interesting comments. Here's one that's self explanatory:

  8. Hey, LL, glad you're still around!

Here's a truck stop fire - at least 2 big rigs (one a car-hauler) went up in flames while parked at a Road Ranger truck stop in Champaign (Illinois):

Check out the YouTube video - some great citizen reporting there. Guy driving along saw the fire, went back to watch it from a distance. They're lucky 10 or 20 big rigs didn't go up in flames - they were packed in pretty tight.

  9. Hey guys! Glad to see you all commenting with stories and links. Thanks!

  10. LL: I read the article for the numbers, having previously known that Fukushima was far worse than Cernobyl. We can see the effects of all the US nuke testing everywhere, Chernobyl, Fukushima, and now North Korea's mountain collapse allowing all that radiation into the biome.

Our governments lie constantly about almost everything and we've been living in fantasyland. Reality is about to come crashing down on us.

    Thanks again for posting, everyone.

Tonight @ §or out we have a group called gnarbot (think weather report/McLaughlin) opening up for Darla (an 8 piece with 2 horns and keyboard).

  11. That was supposed to be Sprout, above.

Really wish I could post a picture. A young lady has on a tee shirt that says
Hey Donald and beneath that there's the finger in every shade of human skin.
