The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.
A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

http://hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/database/index.php?pageid=event_desc&edis_id=BH-20180508-62994-USA
http://www.wesh.com/article/red-algae-shows-up-in-indian-river-lagoon/20272812
Quote: "A small area of the Indian River Lagoon turned deep red again on Monday. A canal along Second Street South in Cocoa Beach looked reddish brown after appearing to be the color of tomato soup earlier in the day. Water managers said it's not red tide and it's not brown tide, but a kind of algae that has appeared for the second time in two weeks. That's causing some alarm among people who live near the water. 'I've lived here 39 years, and I've never seen anything like it,' Cocoa Beach resident Sandy Jones said. Residents said they've seen quite a few dead or dying horseshoe crabs and strange debris in the water that floats up from the bottom. They've not seen very many dead fish."

http://www.taiwannews.com.tw/en/news/3424793
http://focustaiwan.tw/news/asoc/201805070030.aspx
http://taiwanenglishnews.com/3-workers-die-in-underground-sewage-tank/
Quote: "Three workers who were repairing a underground sewage tank under an apartment tower in Kaohsiung lost consciousness and were later declared dead yesterday (May 7), after they were suspected of inhaling poisonous hydrogen sulfide gas, reported Liberty Times."
Quote: "Hsu said a preliminary investigation showed that the concentration of hydrogen sulfide in the underground area reached 52 parts per million, far higher than the 10 ppm limit set by the law."
Quote: "Staff at the apartment said that Lin first entered the tank and because he stopped responding to his coworkers, Kao also entered the tank. When Kao also stopped responding, the supervisor sensed that something was wrong and told the building management to call the authorities before he went inside to investigate, never to be heard from again."
Note: Yep, the way they died one after another is common with hydrogen sulfide poisoning events. Someone succumbs, someone else goes to help and succumbs, then someone else goes to help and succumbs, and so on until someone eventually realizes that people keep going to help but nobody's coming back, so maybe it's best to just stay put or seek help...

Oh man, Jonny - what a report you put out today! GEEZ!!
ReplyDeleteThere's so much here - irony: an ambulance burning up in COOK'em!
and a car bursting into flame at WRECKS'em! [I forget whether or not that's "irony" or something else, word play] OR the couple that went to town to buy a new screen door for their fire-destroyed home that happened while they were gone. [that's a bit more "ironic"]
Amazing shit: a quarter of a million TONS of fish die (that's a LOT of food), yet another riding mower goes up in flames (scares the crap out of me as i'm mowing once a week now (and that's not enough to keep up with the dandelions), and that (biblical) LOCUST invasion! What about the fact that 90% of people on the planet breathe polluted air? - MOST of us BY FAR!
HUMOR: the bar joke coming outta nowhere (like Blackjack Mulligan)
Nutso stuff: a small plane landed on RR tracks! College kid death season is peaking!
and MORE! [pictures, analysis, links]

We look at the state of global food security amid rising concerns about the world population and climate change.
There are currently 7.6 billion people on the planet, and they all need feeding. However, producing crops and rearing livestock is environmentally unsustainable. Nearly one-third of the Earth's land is severely degraded and 90 percent of our oceans are quickly being emptied of fish. [more]

Why Hawaiians place plants before a wall of hot lava in Hawaii? These are ti leaves, a sacred offering to Pele, a goddess associated with fire and volcanoes
http://strangesounds.org/2018/05/why-hawaiians-place-ti-leaves-hawaii-volcano-eruption-pele-godedess-fire-volcano.html
Among the astounding and forbidding images of the Kilauea eruption on the Big Island of Hawaii, there is a striking photo of lava advancing on a row of leafy branches, stuck into a crack in a pavement so that they look like a row of soldiers about to be overwhelmed by an enemy army. These are ti leaves, a “sacred offering” to Pele, a goddess associated with fire and volcanoes.

Well, yeah, the world didn't end because CO2 hit 410 ppm. The world is in the PROCESS of ending. People always seem to assume that the world ends at a specific date or something. At the individual level, it does. When you burst into flame and burn to death then YOUR world has ended. But it's gonna take a while for the Earth to exterminate us all. It's progressive doom, not instantaneous doom. I guess the SOTT people don't understand that concept. They'll get introduced to it involuntarily though, one by one, as they fall over dead, burn to death, get splattered in car accidents, go insane or whatnot. The last SOTT person standing will probably have a pretty good grasp of progressive doom in the end.
