Event Update For 2015-11-17

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. Geez, what a morning Jonny. i had to take my wife to the airport (heading to CA to see grandbaby and "the kids"). We got up early and left the house early to get there so SHE'D be early to go through the whole ordeal. BIG accident on I-95 northbound had two lanes from the left and a merge lane on the right entering onto 95 at the same location - traffic was backed up to DELAWARE! WTF!! Well after an hour we got passed that and she was still okay for her flight. By the way, at the same time there was a car fire on the Southbound passing lane of I - 95 within a mile of the mess we were in! Total chaos. Oh, AND airport services workers were on strike (here, in NY and elsewhere). On the way back (i went a different route to avoid 95) there was the remains of a school bus accident on I - 76 that had traffic slowed down to a crawl. Gyad!

Thanks for another fascinating report here, Jonny. Nothing like a morning reality check to start yer day.

Chemical plants and trains having problems on this day.

    Yet another transformed blows up.

THREE home explosions! THREE brush fires, a ton of boats, tractor trailers and cars - all going up in smoke. More garbage burnin' on the way to the landfill . . .

Nothing like walking along a pedestrian bridge - just to have it collapse! Gaaah!

Science Says Super Bacteria Coming to Kill Us Is Imminent, "People Will Die"

Because you don't have enough to worry about.

According to a study published in the journal Lancet Infectious Diseases, scientists in China have discovered significantly increased levels of bacteria resistant to the antibiotic colistin in pigs. The drug is a last line of defense against a host of bacterial infections, many of which are common in people. Researchers said they expect the resistant bacteria to spread outside of China, if it has not already done so. [more]

Polar Amplification, El Nino or Both? NASA Shows October of 2015 Was Hotter Than All of the Previous 1617 Months

If it seems we are doing a never-ending marathon of hottest posts, it’s simply because the world right now is ridiculously hot. Hotter than at any time ever seen before and being driven inexorably hotter by a combination of human greenhouse gas emissions and what appears to be a global warming weirdified El Nino that doesn’t look anything like a normal El Nino, but instead shows up as an intense blob of extreme heat sitting in a massive hot blob that makes up pretty much all of the Pacific Ocean from the Equator on north. 2. Yuck, sounds like a slow trip to and from the airport there!

I thought MAYBE we could see some 'cooling Earth' if the volcanoes really got going, but it doesn't look like they're erupting enough to offset the rising methane levels. And even if they did, it'd only be short-term anyway. Europe might cool down some because of that ocean current stalling in the Atlantic, but that heat will just go somewhere else, and wherever it goes, it won't be good.

  3. Hey, is everything okay out there, Jonny? It seems to take a really long time for a comment to post (so i actually have to REMEMBER what i last sent . . ). If you'd rather me comment at a certain time of day or, you know, not at all, just say dawoid.

Scientist claims to have detected a parallel universe

A recent study by one scientist from the California Institute of Technology could change everything, however. Dr. Ranga-Ram Chary believes he may have found evidence that parallel universes have been bumping up against ours, like bubbles floating in a foam, and that these bumps have caused "bruises" that can be observed, reports New Scientist.

Chary looked for signs of these cosmic bumps in the Planck map of the cosmic microwave background (CMB), a map of the radiation leftover from the first few moments of our forming universe. It's a map that would look the same no matter where you're viewing it from in the universe; a blueprint, if you will, of the structure of the cosmos.

What Chary found was extraordinary: mysterious glowing regions that are consistent with the idea of a bump from a parallel world, a place where matter from another universe may even have briefly leaked into ours. [more]

  6. Yeah, it's to prevent spam. There'd be thousands of comments about cheap purses, and taxi services, and all kinds of stupid stuff if I didn't filter it out, and it's easier to fight that battle up front - by keeping the spam out - than to fight the battle later, by trying to track down the spam after it's been posted. The captchas just verify that you're human, not that what you're posting isn't spam, and the spammers can be pretty clever. They've almost tricked me a few times.

Hmm, forecast shows rain on Saturday but it also shows the temp dropping to 23 degrees, so I don't know what we're gonna get here. Not that I count on the weather forecasts being all that reliable, especially these days.

  8. Wow, that is amazing. I've been fascinated by pi for a long time. And now they find an ancient formula for pi hidden inside hydrogen. As Homer Simpson would say, 'Mmmm...hydrogen pi....'
